Chapter 976: Supreme Gods of The Multiverse
Chapter 976: Supreme Gods of The Multiverse
"Get out of here," the being said, trying his best to overwhelm Rael with sheer force. However, nothing really worked, as Rael had brushed everything aside.
From the looks of things, this guy here got a big power-up when he was still weak. After that, he didn’t bother to increase his stats, since he knew that just by entering that invincible form, he became someone who was the strongest in the universe.
And he seemed to recognize that too, which was why he defaulted to what he did best, and that was to enter that state once more.
The moment he did, Rael was immediately pushed out of his Mind Realm, and instead, he was tossed into some kind of strange realm, where visions blurred, and much of the shit he was seeing made him feel like he had taken a kilogram of meth.
"Ah... Right, she told me about something like this. Speaking of, Gaia, you here?" Rael called out.
Just then, Gaia manifested in front of him, her brows slightly furrowed as she realized just what had happened. "So he pulled you into this box too."
"Mhm. It looks like it," Rael replied. "So what do we do about him? Can we touch him in any way while he’s in this form?"
"Sadly, yes." Gaia nodded. "You see, the reason I kind of wanted you to go through the hole back then was simply because I wanted you to see what’s on the inside... However, I’ll skip all the details. There’s just something I want to show you real quick."
Without wasting much of his time, she went ahead and tapped the walls of this strange glowing box, filled with visions and memories. In the next instant, some kind of floating blue soul appeared in front of Rael.
He stared at it for a moment, and when the soul stared back at him, he subconsciously took a step back, a little bit startled by what he was seeing. This was like some kind of life force, and since it belonged to the guy he had just seen... Did that mean by destroying this, he’d be killed in an instant?
Frankly, he didn’t want to believe it, but seeing the conflicted look on Gaia’s face, he knew that really was the case. So of course, Rael went ahead and tapped a single finger on the soul, and as expected, it dissipated immediately.
Just then, the box they were in suddenly shook, and before long, it turned into just an ordinary black box. Except now, there was some kind of portal in the very center, signifying that he could enter that universe whenever he pleased.
However, that wasn’t really what got his mood sour. Instead, it was the fact that it was so easy to kill someone so powerful... Even now, Rael knew that he was a part of these people who could be killed so easily. So what if, one day, someone decided to just go ahead and kill him?
Why not, right? It wasn’t hard. In fact, it was so easy, Rael was sure even a toddler could do it. So what could he do to make himself more immune to this kind of stuff...? Did he just need to kill everyone here instead?
Rael thought selfishly, and even Gaia seemed to feel like there weren’t many options. Alas, neither Gaia nor he knew what to do to prevent this, so for the time being, Rael actually considered killing everyone.
But then he remembered the hole in the very center, the same hole where he was able to see his own eye. By now, he doubted that it had anything to do with his memories or purpose, or whatever. Instead, it might just be the only way to solve his current predicament.
Maybe?
"Hmm... Let’s leave this place for now," Rael said and broke out of the black box, immediately feeling the headache and also seeing his own eye from before. He approached it alongside Gaia, and right as he was about to enter, he paused, remembering something.
"You said something about the inside of that place? Were you there?" Rael asked.
Gaia paused for a moment, then sighed. "I couldn’t get close enough, but you might be able to."
Although he was a little skeptical, Rael nodded and kept going until finally, he crossed the boundary between that realm and the inside of the hole. In the next instant, he saw a pitch-black monitor, as well as a desk of sorts.
He found it odd. Glancing back, he didn’t see Gaia or anyone else either. Was this the realm he was supposed to see? Gaia made it sound much grander than this.
But oh well, Rael felt like if there was some kind of monitor, a keyboard, and a desk, then this must be some kind of grand console or whatever. Rael approached it, tapped the monitor, and to his surprise, it turned on.
Immediately, several hundred folders met his gaze, each one being scanned by him in the blink of an eye, making him realize just what this monitor was. It was some kind of mechanism for the Laws, order, and many things that existed.
For one, Rael was sure this was the point of origin for everything. This was where the universe had started expanding from. After all, if the moment someone hit the enter key, all of this information was output, then he was confident in his assumption.
Very confident.
Though...
There’s also a folder for every single person that has my powers, I think? It’s labeled Supreme Gods of The Multiverse, Rael read the description, and then clicked on that folder.
In an instant, the names of thousands of beings came into view, each one with their own life stories and set of powers. Surprisingly, these Supreme Gods of The Multiverse didn’t all have the same powers. Their powers were much weaker than Rael’s.
In contrast, Rael’s powers were among the greatest, maybe in the top 3?
