Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2543: Parth

Chapter 2543: Parth

*TONG*

The sound coming from the bow string... it wasn’t too loud, nor was it too dangerous, but it reverberated...

Even though there was no energy in it, that sound for some reason, made Bloody Chariot’s heart skip a bit.

It was almost like his heart beat was trying to resonate with the reverberations, and he was afraid that as the reverberations died down, his heart would stop as well.

And his heart, as if it had a consciousness of its own... was trying to follow that sound of the bow string.

Bloody Chariot closed his eyes, for a moment and took deep breaths.

Parth on the other hand, slowly pulled the bow string again and let it go.

*TONG*

Bloody Chariot, there was something in that action, that he couldn’t explain.

He just stood there and observed calmly. Trying to figure out.

Parth didn’t seem to have noticed his presence at all. He just stood there and pulled the bow string again.

*TONG*

Bloody Chariot looked in the direction Parth’s bow was aiming, and a frown appeared on his face. His locked in on the target. If there was an arrow on that bow, it would be hitting the tree he was seeing.

*TONG*

As the string was revealed, Bloody Chariots saw a very miniscule and negligible change in that tree.

His divine vision was activated to the max and his focus was only on that tree and nothing else.

*TONG*

Then he saw it... As the string was released... a leaf on the tree vibrated... just a little bit. The joint between the leaf and the branch broke and the leaf fell on the ground. There were no other scars on the tree, branch, or even another leaf on the same branch.

In fact, the rest are not even moving.

Only one leaf was targeted. Just one of them.

Even the faint breeze didn’t touch the rest.

Bloody Chariot was shocked to say the least.

Its not like he couldn’t do such thing. But he had to use his energy. Because the only thing he can control is his energy.

Even if someone tried to control the elements its with the energy.

However, right now, the energy is non existent.

But the leaf still fell.

*TONG*

Another leaf.

*TONG*

Another leaf...

Bloody Chariot didn’t even know how long he watched it, but he saw one leaf after another, fall down slowly, along with the sound of the bow string.

It was serene, but at the same time overwhelming.

The fact, that he, Bloody Chariot, who believed he was so close to the godhood... couldn’t figure out the means someone is using... at least not even getting an inkling of understanding... it didn’t make sense.

And he was scared.

Because, a god is someone who is above everything else. The natural elements become obedient to them. Obedience, should stem from understanding. Once the authority doesn’t the elements of which that was subservient to it... the foundation of authority will shake sooner or later.

And right now, the foundation he thought he built for a long time, was shaken by this one move.

"How? How is this possible?" He muttered out loud without thinking.

Parth ignored him. No, ignore is a wrong word, Parth didn’t even acknowledge his existence.

Like he was part of the nature around him.

"How? What is happening here?"

Bloody Chariot kept on muttering.

All the energy logics that he had practiced and studied over the years... all the natural laws that he understood over the years... none of them are making sense.

He tried to see if the physical force of the string itself was pushing the wind to force the leaf away. He didn’t know if it was possible, but that kinda gives some logic to it.

But it didn’t.

The air molecules are not moving...

Bloody Chariot closed his eyes, trying to feel any change, but he couldn’t.

The serenity that he tried to build over the past few days, was gone. The curiosity grew into frustration and frustration grew into rage.

Without even knowing, his aura went out of control...

But it was just for a fraction of a second...

However...

*TONG*

*BAM*

Bloody Chariot suddenly felt a force hit him squarely on his chest. He couldn’t sense its presence. It just came and hit him.

His heart stopped. His eyes opened wide. He felt his body get off the ground, he moved a few feet and fell on his back with a thud.

The next thing he knew, he saw the blue sky.

His heart started beating again.

Parth slowly walked towards him.

His face calm and collected.

Bloody Chariot sat up and looked at him.

Parth stopped a couple of feet away, the bow still in his hands, standing ram rod straight.. he was gazing at Bloody Chariot, as if he could see through him.

"Peak of Consummation... yet none of the Divinity, none of the majesty, none of the authority.

You are but a mere mortal, who was gifted the power of Divine.

Because only a foolish mortal would stew in rage over the frustration of not being able to understand something new.

I cannot believe my brother had to fight against someone like you. A person of higher cultivation, yet with your mindset, there is no glory in that victory. It’s shallow as a puddle formed by rain."

Bloody Chariot gulped hard as Parth left.

For some reason, he couldn’t refute a single word Parth spoke. It’s not like he didn’t want to. He just couldn’t.

His lips refused to move, his tongue reduced to move, even his vocal cords seemed to have gone into Parth’s command.

As if they were respecting his presence.

"What is he?"

Bloody Chariot asked and for the first time in a really long time, he felt terrified.

An image of the past, when he just ended up as an orphan in the streets of an old city, looking at the sky while wearing rags and crying for some food, came to his mind.

He was that terrified at the moment.
