"How are they? Will they recover to full health, or will there be any permanent effects to their health?"

Raji asked Syvis in a calm voice, as she was concerned about her comrade’s health and her workload too.

If Ashtel and Jin end up having to retire, all the burden will fall on her shoulders.

"Ashtel is fine... he’s just extremely exhausted and Riya used tremendous amount of healing to stabilize his injuries so I was able to easily take care of him..."

"He will stay unconscious for a few months, I think... recovering to his peak strength might take a few years, perhaps..."

"It’s unbelievable that someone like him was pushed to such lengths that he was beaten to this state..."

"That powerful attack that nearly shattered the solar system... that ’Black Hole’ must have been his ultimate move to deal with the enemy..."

As an SS-rank healer who helped in healing the world tree, Syvis has a deep relationship with the world tree and knows a lot more details than others.

From the details provided by the world tree, Syvis has guessed that Ashtel must be the one who used that powerful attack that took several peak SS-rankers to block and stabilize.

If not for the fact that dozens of SS-rankers worked together to stabilize the aftermath of that attack along with the power of the world tree, this entire solar system would have been destroyed by now.

A ’Black hole’ not only interferes with gravity but also the magnetic fields; all the SS-rankers had to exert quite a lot of effort to prevent the planet from getting affected by such things.

"I think it will take quite a while for him to recover to full strength after unleashing something of that scale..."

"As for any permanent damage... we can only tell after he wakes up; perhaps he used some kind of contract or something to unleash so much power..."

"That might leave some permanent impact; aside from that, he should be fine..."

Syvis then glanced at Jin and sighed deeply before speaking in a solemn tone.

"Jin has barely survived... in fact, if not for Riya, he would have been dead long ago..."

Syvis glanced at Riya who was sleeping peacefully in Link’s arms and continued speaking.

"Thankfully, Riya has mastered the ’Legendary Skill,’ the ’Heart of Eternal Nirvana,’ to beyond 50% mastery... her mana capacity might not be high..."

"But the quality of her healing magic is almost on par with me... She’s not even an S-ranker; her talent in healing magic is unbelievable..."

Syvis then looked at Jin again and said,

"Riya forcefully healed his ’cracked’ soul and sea of consciousness... he’s damaged his very origin and even his soul has sustained tremendous damage..."

"Whatever he has faced, has done massive damage to him... it’s already a miracle that he’s even alive..."

After saying those words, Syvis looked into Raji’s eyes and spoke in a solemn tone.

"Jin Walt will never be able to unleash the strength of an SS-ranker anymore. He will barely have the strength of an A ranker at most..."

"His life span has been shortened to that of an S-ranker, and even his sea of consciousness has been damaged... I don’t know if he will even wake up..."

"Riya saved his life, but if he doesn’t have the conviction to live anymore... he will never wake up again and would be considered brain dead at that point..."

Raji face became more and more solemn as she kept listening to Syvis’s words.

After Syvis stopped talking, Raji sighed deeply, and a look of sadness and trouble appeared on her face.

Raji knew that the loss of a loved one indeed causes tremendous pain; she herself experienced this before when her mother fell into a coma and her father left them behind.

She was in no place to criticize Riko’s choices; even though she wanted Riko to live a long and better life, she couldn’t ask her to just abandon her hatred for the demon who killed the person closest to her.

Zach’s death back then had already set this tragedy in motion; there was nothing that could have stopped it.

"This place is dangerous. I will take you all back to the empire first. there are already dozens of SS-rankers here; you kids don’t need to stay here..."

"Leave the rest to us; you all should go back and rest a bit-"

Lia immediately shook her head and crossed her arms around her chest as she refused to move.

"No, I will not leave until Rio comes back... I will only leave with him."

Raji was just about to persuade Lia to not be stubborn; she stopped and glanced towards the Spire of Ascension midway.

A deep frown appeared on her beautiful face as she stared at that distant tower with a look of confusion.

It was not just her; all the SS-rankers in the area had the same reaction as her.

They all looked in that same direction with doubt and confusion as all of them felt their danger sense trigger at the same time.

The intuition of an SS-ranker is no joke; it’s extremely powerful and can sense danger before it even happens.

Ryul didn’t waste a single second and used the power of the world tree to thicken the gigantic roots once again and cast a powerful barrier around Lia and the others.

Raji and Syvis immediately blocked Lia and the injured behind them and cast their own barriers in a matter of milliseconds.

Seeing their actions, Link and Lia were confused, but before they could even ask, everything around them brightened up.

A powerful light appeared from the direction of the Spire of Ascension.

Everything became so bright that even Link and Lia found it difficult to keep their eyes open.

The flow of mana and miasma became chaotic in a matter of milliseconds in the entire continent, and all the SS-rankers across the globe immediately sprang into action.

Several of them rushed in various directions to place barriers and stabilize the planet’s gravity and structure once again.

A powerful explosion happened right after that; gigantic cracks appeared in the tectonic plates of the continent, and an earthquake so powerful that it could easily shatter the planet to bits spread with the tower as the center.

The entire Spire of Ascension blew up with tremendous power, and the explosion produced a shockwave so powerful that even an S-ranker might die instantly if they get hit head-on.

"You have got to be kidding me!? What the f*ck is going on!?"

Ryul cursed loudly as he used his full strength along with the other SS-rankers to suppress the powerful disasters created by that explosion.

Dozens of SS-rankers with ’World Authority’ related to ’Earth’ used their full power to stop the earthquake from spreading.

Some used their ’world authorities’ to calm down the chaotic flow of mana and miasma, while peak SS-rankers like Ryul faced the shockwave and explosion head-on to suppress it.

It took the SS-rankers of the entire planet to barely deal with that powerful explosion.

The explosion wasn’t as powerful as Ashtel’s ’Black Hole’ attack, but it was enough to shatter nearly half the solar system in a millisecond.

Avoiding such types of attacks is much easier for SS-rankers, as they can just teleport away from the attacks’ range, but forcefully suppressing them is very difficult.

Moreover, they still had to protect the entire planet’s creatures from dying; thus, they all had to use their full strength.

The explosion and its shockwaves kept wreaking havoc for quite a few long minutes before it finally calmed down.

All the SS-rankers wiped away the sweat from their faces and heaved a deep sigh of relief after the powerful explosion was suppressed with minimal damage.

Even though they all suppressed it to this level, the planet will likely still face small-scale problems for a few years to come from now, as even the magnetic field of the planet had become unstable for a few milliseconds.

Once the explosion ended and the dust started to settle down, all the SS-rankers looked toward the same direction and noticed that the tower in the distance was no more.

In its place was just molten lava and a massive crater.
