Chapter 622: The Airhead Twins, Lyria And Miria. Part-2.

"I am not a fairy. I am a human actually..."

While saying those words, Lia removed her silver helmet, and her golden hair covered in a silver aura flew with the wind.

Her beautiful face, her powerful aura, and her charming smile, it was as if she was a real fairy!

"But you are a royal fairy, though... Humans are bad people; they won’t save us from the Demons..."

The two little fairies tilted their heads in confusion as if they couldn’t understand why Lia was trying to joke with them like that.

The little fairy with sky blue hair tilted her head and spoke.

"Lyria has seen humans before... they are all very scary and have very scary smiles... you are not the same..."

"You have the same kind smile as the Royal Fairies!"

Miria, who had greenish-white hair, nodded at her sister’s words and spoke.

"You saved me from that demon; just when it was about to kill me with its big hammer, you blew it away!"

"You are so strong and elegant! You are definitely a Royal Fairy!"

Seeing that the two little fairies refused to believe Lia’s words, she could only shake her head helplessly.

’By the way... I can’t seem to sense their presence at all... these two aren’t even strong. How are they doing this?’

’By the way, you managed to do it before, and you even asked me to save them. How did you sense them?’

[Elemental Fairies are creatures that have the greatest affinity with the very nature of this world and their affinity with all kinds of elements is even stronger than dragons in many cases...]

[Mana detection, spiritual sense, etc... all these things will simply register these fairies as ’Normal’ bunch of elementals or just a small lump of mana at most...]

Mana sense works by detecting the mana fluctuations in the environment.

But fairies themselves are basically very close to nature and the ’laws’ of the world, and thus their mana fluctuations are usually either minimal or completely impossible to detect.

The same goes with spiritual sense or any other detection ability; they simply aren’t able to register the existence of fairies in this radar.

Fairies do not actively use stealth or anything; it’s just that nature has given them this natural camouflage as a counter against aggressive individuals.

[To detect the presence of a fairy, you would need to either have the ability to sense spatial fluctuations to the very minute levels or you would need to have a powerful intuition like that of S-rankers and above-level individuals...]

[For me though, it’s much easier, as I am also a divine spirit and very close to nature so it’s easier for me to detect them through the feedback of the ’laws’ of the ’world’...]

Hearing those words, Lia glanced at the fat cat sitting on her shoulder with a look of surprise.

’You are actually more useful than I expected... Only in times like these do I remember that you are actually a strong spirit; otherwise, I always end up thinking of you as a lazy fat cat...’

[I am not fat... my body shape and manifestation depend on what pleases the host more...]

[I look like a fat cat because you subconsciously keep thinking that being a fat lazy cat suits me more...]

’Eh... but I really think that lazing around like a cat suits you quite a lot though... don’t you like it?’

Noticing the glare in Kai’s eyes, Lia decided not to touch upon this topic anymore.

"I am Lia Silver. I was wandering and got lost. Can you tell me more about this land?"

As the two fairies had already introduced themselves, Lia decided to tell them her name too while also asking the two more about this dungeon.

"I did hear that the Royal Fairies have the habit of wandering around and getting lost often, but to think they even get lost with how strong they are?-"

Just when Miria muttered those words in a quiet voice, her sister Lyria flicked her finger at her forehead to make her shut up.

"Idiot, talk quietly... she will hear you!"

"I heard that those who disrespect Royal Fairies get their favorite food snatched away from them!"

After glaring at her sister, Lyria, who seemed more intelligent of the duo, smiled at Lia and spoke.

"This place is not safe; demons and humans come here often. Let’s go to a safe place first..."

Although the two little fairies tried to mutter in a quieter voice, as a powerful A-ranker, Lia obviously managed to hear them talk to each other loud and clear.

[Hahaha, you are never gonna beat those ’Royal Fairy’ allegations now!! BAHAHAHA!!!!]

Kai burst out laughing like an idiot, while Lia could only shake her head in helplessness.

With an awkward look on her face, she spoke.

"Yeah... let’s get to some safer place first... By the way, this cat here is Kai and this little fellow is RJ..."

The little golem that had been staring at the two fairies with a look of curiosity waved its small hand as if to say hello to them.

The little fairies also said hi to the little fellow, and then the group of five of them started moving.

The two fairies flew at the forefront to show the way while Lia followed behind them.

"You say that this place is dangerous, but then why did you two come here then?"

"Wouldn’t it have been better to stay in a safer place instead?"

Hearing Lia’s question, Lyria glared at Miria and replied in an angry voice,

"It’s all because of this idiot little sister of mine! I told her not to follow those other idiots to go out and pick fights with a demon!"

"Those other idiots convinced her to follow along in their so-called quest of defeating a demon!"

"Alas... they all ended up getting crushed to death by that demon. If I hadn’t arrived on time, she would have been dead long ago..."

Hearing the anger-filled words of her sister, Miria’s elf-like ears dropped as she replied in a sulking voice,

"I just wanted to pay back those bad demons and humans for all the things they have done to us..."
