Every awakener has to go through high-intensity combat-related situations quite often in their life while conquering dungeons and fighting powerful monsters.

In such situations, communication between allies needs to be fast, efficient, and to the point.

Thus, all students of the academy and various other battle schools are all taught the skill of communicating in sign language and code words so that they won’t have to say long sentences mid-battle.

The same was obviously true for Lia too.

As a top scorer in all subjects and a top scorer in the entire class overall, Lia was perfectly capable of using code words too.

Moreover, she had established various kinds of code words according to her own unique circumstances and capabilities that would seem like useless words to others but would be very meaningful to her allies.

Kai was one of those close allies, and although the code word Lia spoke about seemed very difficult to understand from others’ perspectives, it was easy to understand for him.

[O9, 34A, 52W...]

’O’ referred to ’Order,’ and combined with ’9,’ it simply means ’Order No. 9.’

Kai was Lia’s servant and her companion both; she had long established a set of orders for Kai to remember, and he knew exactly what ’Order No. 9’ was.

That’s what Lia ordered Kai with that code word.

Then came 34A; the ’A’ was referring to ’Attack,’ and ’34’ referred to ’Percentage.’

As for 52W, the ’W’ was for ’Defensive Wall,’ and ’52’ was referring to 52 meters.

’Create a defensive wall of 52 meters.’

There were quite a few more code words afterward that told Kai to see the opportunity himself and target the ’demon’ she had asked him to with his attacks.

Usually, Lia doesn’t use these code words often, but with so many powerful demons and so much corruption in the area, it’s possible that their telepathic communication could be intercepted and heard by enemies with the power of miasma.

Although it was very unlikely for such a thing to happen, Lia liked to be cautious.

[Are you sure you want to do this, Lia? Consuming so much of your mana and energy just to save these fairies that are long dead in the past and have nothing to do with you at all?]

[To me, this seems irrational...]

Hearing Kai’s question, Lia replied in a confident tone,

’I have a feeling... my ’prediction’ ability is telling me to keep fighting and not abandon the fairies...’

’Moreover, even without the urging of the prediction ability, I would have still not retreated... after all, I didn’t come so far just to retreat in face of slight difficulty...’

Kai couldn’t make sense of Lia’s so-called ’premonition,’ but as she was his master, he dared not disobey her orders and got to work right away.

The massive wall made up of pure divine spirit magic was radiating with such dense divine purification magic that the moment the sea waves of the miasma-filled attack came in touch with it, they evaporated on the spot!

Rahn’s attack, which he created by sacrificing the vitality of hundreds of his own subordinates, was completely purified and obliterated by just touching that wall of pure divine might!

*AHRRRR!!!!*

A horrified shriek spread in the entire area, catching everyone’s attention.

And those who looked at the source of the shriek noticed with shocked eyes that the massive wall summoned by Kai had fallen right upon the demon mage who had been bombarding Lia with dark magic spears until now!

"Hoho... it hit perfectly!"

Indeed! Kai’s target wasn’t Rahn in the first place! The main target Lia had asked him to deal with was the demon mage who had been floating near the temple of nature while bombarding Lia with powerful spells until now.

The massive wall fell right upon him with such speed and might that he didn’t even get the time to cast a basic miasmic shield and ended up getting crushed and completely purified by the effects of the giant walls radiating purification magic!

Not only did the massive wall protect the fairies and the temple of nature from the dark flood, it killed the demon mage that was annoying Lia and completely nullified Rahn’s attack on the spot!

Seeing this, Rahn was so infuriated that he stomped the air, used it as a platform, and launched himself at Kai to fight him in close combat!

"I WILL F*CKING KILL YOU!!!! DIE YOU SH*TTTY LION!!!"

Kai immediately jumped aside to dodge the attack and then hit Rahn with his tail swing, which Rahn defended with another punch!

Rahn had already figured out that it was pointless to try to shatter that wall or use miasma against Kai, so he had no other choice but to engage in close-range combat.

Although he was not stronger than Kai in close combat and had no specific advantage, he was able to keep Kai busy because Kai was now even weaker than before doing this ’wall’ attack.

While defending against several of Rahn’s sword attacks with his claws, Kai glanced in Lia’s direction briefly while thinking to himself,

’I leave the rest to your kiddo... don’t die in a place like this; you have brighter future waiting for you after all...’

Kai and Lia’s telepathic connection broke the moment he used so much of Lia’s power; to save power, there was no other way but to close this connection.

It was risky, but there was no other choice left.
