Lia coughed up massive amounts of blood, her eyes went bloodshot, and even her ears started bleeding.

Her helmet that had been shattered by the demons once again was now completely missing, as Lia didn’t bother to create it again, as she lacked mana to continue maintaining it.

Aside from the helmet, she also removed the cape and leg guards, completely focusing the defense on her torso and her hands alone.

Even her internal organs felt like they were turning into mush and were about to shatter from the sheer burden placed upon her soul and body by Kai’s power’s massive power usage.

As Lia wiped the blood from her lips, she laughed at her own weakness.

’It’s still quite early for me to spam powerful city-destroying attacks like Rio and Link... that one alone placed so much burden; I nearly died for the second time today and both times it was from my own powers...’

While mocking herself in her mind, Lia swung her sword to the left and deflected the incoming spear thrust that was about to pierce her left eye and shatter her skull.

The sound of metal colliding with metal and sparks flying in the air sounded as the demon lost his balance after Lia deflected his sudden spear strike, and she immediately punched him in the stomach, sending him flying far away once again!

Before Lia could rejoice, though, Nine came rushing from behind and punched her with all his might, but Lia bent her waist slightly to the side and bent her knees to duck down.

The moment Lia dodged, the hammer demon’s hammer completely missed and hit Nine instead, causing him to be blasted off into the sky like a rocket!

Lia didn’t miss this chance; she pointed her sword’s tip toward the legs of the hammer demon while sitting on the ground and opened fire.

Unlike before, Lia’s output had fallen, and her beam attack was now weaker, but it was still strong enough to completely evaporate the demon’s leg once it hit directly!

But to Lia’s dismay, an arrow coated in dense miasma came flying forcefully, tilted Lia’s sword’s tip to the side at the last minute, and barely saved the hammer demon!

The powerful beam only managed to graze the demon’s right leg slightly, and a massive part of his leg was completely burnt away in a ’C’ shape, causing the demon to shriek in pain and fall on the ground!

Often times, either these long-range attackers are too far out of her range.

And by the time their attack reached her prediction range, it would end up reaching so close that it would become nearly unavoidable!

The attacks of these long-range attackers relied highly on speed, and although Lia was also quite fast, she was still not capable of dealing with desperate attacks of a peak S-rank demon so easily.

The spear demon, the hammer demon, and Nine were not as much of a threat to her as that bow user.
