In a small city called Leela (present-day Oaklum City) located near the southern shore of the Continent of Maiqeulla (present-day Astrum Continent), there existed a small private farm.

The Anant family used to plant flowers of various different rare types on this small farm, and their flowers were famous in the entire city!

Couples would often choose to buy these exotic flowers from the family shop of the Anant family as a gift for their partners.

Although Bela’s parents weren’t wealthy enough to be considered millionaires, her family was quite well off compared to most of the city’s residents.

As the only child of her parents, Bela grew up with plenty of love and care; her parents doted on her quite a lot, and whenever they worked on their beautiful farm, little Bela would tag along with them every day!

Her parents had hired enough helpers to take care of the entire farm, and their business was also in a stable state in those days.

Bela and her happy family used to live a leisurely and carefree life that many can only dream of.

That particular day, when Bela was just nine years old, she was playing in the massive farmland; she was running around and singing melodies that she had learned in school not too long ago.

Her parents were instructing the workers and busy in their work; at that moment, she stumbled upon a flower that was wilted for some reason.

Hearing the worker lady’s words, Bela felt a bit sad.

At Bela’s cute and innocent words, the lady worker explained with a smile,

The worker lady patted little Bela’s head as she spoke.

"This flower has shone beautifully and has refreshed the world with its beauty for long enough; it’s about time we let it rest in peace now..."

Just when the worker lady thought that with this much consoling, little Bela would not feel sad anymore, Bela suddenly embraced the wilted flower in her small palms and said,

"Mom says that when you feel sick and weak, if others cheer you up, you will feel better!"

"I cheered Papa up the other day when he had a headache, and he got better. The flower friend will also feel better if I cheer it up!"

Before the worker lady could say anything, Bela, in her stubbornness, held the flower and spoke.
