Just a day before the ship could reach its destination, it got stuck in a massive unexpected storm!

"Papa... I can feel many powerful life forces approaching from that direction..."

Snuggled in her father’s arms, Bela pointed her small finger towards the direction of the Maiqeulla continent.

Bela’s father knew full well about his daughter’s capabilities, and he knew that what Bela had said was likely true.

If she sensed the presence of powerful people approaching from that direction, that clearly meant that there were pursuers chasing them!

"Don’t worry my little princess; papa will take care of everything..."

Bela’s father tried to play it off, but the grim look in his eyes betrayed his words.

He walked over to a chest and placed Bela inside of it.

The chest was made by their awakener friend, who was a mage, and it was enchanted with presence concealment magic.

"Hide for now..."

As her father smiled and patted her small head, Bela’s mother caressed her daughter’s cute little face as she said,

"No matter what happens, don’t come out of this chest... and always remember, no matter what happens, Mom will always love you... after all, you are my little princess..."
