In the original novel, Fade confronts the demon king around the late stages of the novel, and as a child of heavens, Fade and the demon king, who had turned into a ’vessel’ of that final boss enemy, fought on sight!

The demon king himself didn’t have many scenes in the original novel, and by the time he had appeared, Fade was already too strong for him, so he didn’t manage to do much at all.

At most he was a slightly more important side character, but things have changed a lot compared to the original novel, so Rio didn’t dare underestimate him either.

’Alverto’s appearance was already a major butterfly effect... the demon king likely will also behave completely different compared to the original novel as things have changed a lot...’

The current demon king might have lost to Fade in the novel, but that was just a weakened version of him, which had been turned into a mindless vessel of a higher being.

"The responsibility of taking care of the little fairies, Bela and RJ, is on you two; we are off to play!"

Kai was surprised after hearing those words as he asked,

"Eh? Do I not need to assist you this time Lia?"

Lia shook her head as she smiled brightly.

"No need... I am now much stronger than before... Also, Rio is here, so let me have fun by myself today!"

With that said, Rio and Lia both headed straight towards the direction of the boss monsters of the dungeon, leaving James and Kia behind.

"After her boyfriend came, she’s already forgotten about us all... sigh..."

James pretended to sulk but Kai rolled his eyes and replied,

Hearing those words, James could only sigh in helplessness.

"Sigh... I brought this upon myself, ugh, let’s go; I will go tell that little girl Bela about my heroic stories instead..."

Saying that James flew towards the little fellows playing around with each other without a care in the world.

Seeing this, Kai also followed behind as he found a good spot to lie in the sunlight to take a small nap!

The warm wind breeze made the place even more cozy and peaceful; if not for the fact that they were inside a dungeon, this was a perfect spot to have a picnic and enjoy the peaceful day pass by slowly.
