Chapter 700: The Reunion Party! Part-2. (End of Volume-7.)

"You are at rank B atleast... look at me, I have fallen almost to the early stage of rank C!"

"I was at peak A rank before; now I am not even half as strong as I used to be..."

Hearing Liam’s words of disappointment, Riya spoke in a loud voice.

"Don’t be sad! At least you got to live a new life! That’s already something to be happy about!"

"As for strength, you both are talented and can build it all over again from scratch!"

Ashtel also nodded his head at those words as he spoke in a calm voice.

"Yes, you have your entire lives ahead of you; you have plenty of time. Don’t just think of sad things... you can build your life from scratch from now onwards!"

"The world is vast; you can travel around, you can go on vacations, you can reach your original heights and even go beyond them in the future!"

"In fact, you have both already experienced many things, and this time your growth rate would be even faster with all that experience, and you will soon be able to catch up to your previous self in a very short amount of time!"

Hearing the supportive words, Liam and Ellie finally stopped worrying about being weak and being a burden.

"Thank you, everyone. You have done a lot for us; we will both be indebted to you all for our entire lives."

With that said, the atmosphere in the room became even more harmonious than before.

Tasty food was served, along with drinks and various juices!

It was a welcome party to celebrate the revival of Liam and Ellie, so the entire group enjoyed and chatted for a long time!

By the time the group finally ran out of topics to chatter about, it was already evening, and many of the chefs in the mansion had fainted because all people in the party were food enthusiasts and ate too much!

Even Raji, who was usually the most reserved in such parties and banquets, drank entire barrels of wine!

After having fun for an entire day, Rio and Lia decided to head home, as Lia had only recently reached rank S and still had to properly get herself familiar with her new powers.

Rio also wanted to spend some time with Lia and rest a bit longer for now after an entire year of hard work.

As Rio and Lia got ready to leave, Liam and Ellie accompanied them to the door.

"So you two are going to stay in the academy dorms for a while?"

Liam nodded his head at Lia’s question.

"Yes, Principal Raji told us that you all have graduated in the time I was gone... but I still have an entire year’s worth of classes and exams pending..."

"Moreover, right now I have regressed in strength and with my current strength I can’t even properly summon my original summoned beasts as quite a few of them are very strong and summoning them would put heavy burden on the body..."

"My siblings do not particularly like me either... staying in the Aldif mansion when I am unable to defend myself is not a good option..."

"So, I would stay in the academy dorms, complete my final year and try to regain as much strength as possible in this year..."

Rio nodded his head at those words as he handed over a small medallion to Ellie.

"Take this... I have imbued it with my sword intent; it’s capable of wiping out multiple peak S-rankers in just a single attack..."

"Keep this with you as a safety charm; consider it a welcome back gift from me and Lia both..."

"If Liam bullies you, you can use a slight bit of energy from it to slap him... btw, the sword intent in this one is very smart; even if you use it up, as long as a few traces are left, you can recharge the artifact back to full power with your own mana..."

While Rio was on his way back from the spirit realm, he wasn’t just playing the flute and wasting time all along; he made some safety charms in his free time just in case he ever needed to hand them to someone in the future.

Even Lia’s locket that was originally carrying a weaker version of his sword intent was upgraded by Rio right after they came back from the fairyland dungeon.

"Hehe, Now this is what I am talking about! I will threaten Liam to make cookies for me with this now! Kekeke!"

Hearing Ellie’s words, Liam could not help but roll his eyes.

"I was going to make them either way; you don’t need to threaten me for that you know..."

Ignoring Liam trying to complain to him about why he had given such a strong thing to Ellie, Rio patted Liam on the shoulder before saying,

"Call me when you are ready to loot your family’s treasury and cause headache for them..."

"I would like to visit the famous Aldif mansion soon..."

Liam nodded his head at Rio’s words.

"Well, let me regain some strength to properly summon my own summoned beasts first. It might take some time... you would need to wait for a while..."

"Talking about waiting, I heard that Professor Jin and Professor Anna are both going to marry soon... they really kept us all waiting for this good news!"

The group chatted about random things as they all walked to the front door.

While talking happily, the group reached a car that was already ready to go and was just waiting for Rio and Lia to enter.

"Well, then, we should go now; it’s getting late..."

Just as Rio and Lia said their goodbyes, Ellie and Liam both bowed to the two of them before saying,

"Thank you for everything, Rio, and you too Lia... we both will always remember the favours you have done for us..."

"We hope that you two will have nothing but happiness in your life!"

Rio and Lia smiled at those words, held their hands, and nodded at Liam and Ellie before entering the car and leaving.

As they watched the car leave, Liam and Ellie also held each other’s hands and hugged each other as they knew that a new Chapter of their life was about to begin from now on.

"Let’s go home, to that lovely dorm room of ours where the smell of your baking-sweet cookies still linger..."

Liam nodded his head at Ellie’s words as he replied with a smile.

"Yes... let’s go... my cute faulty dragon..."

Finally, Liam’s and Ellie’s twisted and tainted fate was resolved through the combined efforts of many, and they could now go on to live a happy life!
