What is ’Paradise’?

In philosophical and ancient texts, it is defined as a place of exceptional happiness, delight, and bliss, often characterized as an ideal state or location free from worry, suffering, and evil.

But many people believe that a ’paradise’ is unique for everyone.

For one person, living with their happy family is a form of ’paradise,’ while for another person, living in solitude and peace is their representation of a true ’paradise.’

Just like everyone’s ’Path’ differ from each other, every being in the universe has a unique ’Destination’ and a unique ’Paradise’ in their own mind.

But only a few beings ever make it to their so-called ’Paradise’.

Many stumble halfway on their ’Path’ and never reach the ’Destination Point’ that they have always wanted to reach.

Many deviate from their original ’Path’ and get lost in the abyss of the distraction-filled world.

And many completely abandon their ’Path’ and lose all hope of ever reaching the ’Paradise’ they envisioned in their hearts.

Only those who desperately yearn for their end goal, those who dare to walk on their ’Path’ till the very end, can reach the ’Paradise’ envisioned by their heart.

And for everyone, paradise unfolds in its own unique way.

A grassland so vast that it seemed to have no end to it appeared beneath Ashtel’s feet.

Not too far away was a giant tree under which a couple was having a picnic.

The cool shade of the tree protected the couple from the warm sunlight; a cool wind breeze ruffled the couple’s hair as the two ate sandwiches with each other and chatted with smiles on their faces.

Ashtel knew that couple very well; it was a younger version of him and his wife. The two of them were once very fond of going on picnics and spending time with each other.

Protecting his nation, protecting his loved ones, and spending happy and peaceful times with his family.

This was and still is Ashtel’s ’Paradise’; it is the final point of his ’Path.’

This is without a doubt his ’destination point.’

Ashtel had lived his greatest dream as he had worked hard to reach his destination, but unfortunately, this dream was now nothing but a long-gone memory.

Standing under the intense sunlight with no shade to protect him, Ashtel could only watch that lovely couple enjoy themselves but could never approach them again.

It was all but a distant memory.

"Manipulating people using their emotions... No wonder you are a Demon King, Nebo Dahaka..."

Without hesitation, Ashtel punched in the direction of the lovely couple minding their own business and shattered the space-time fabric, completely erasing that memory manifestation!

Standing not too far away, Dahaka tilted his head at Ashtel and mocked in a teasing voice.

"I generously gave you the chance of meeting your happy past self, yet you completely ignored it... what a ruthless man you are..."

Looking at Dahaka, who was pretending to be disappointed in an attempt to mock him, Ashtel took his martial stance.

"The dream, the goals that I wanted to achieve, I have already achieved them. I have lived a happy life with my wife and my child; I have no such things as regret..."

"Trying to sway my heart by showing me the face of my wife will not save you from the beating that I am going to unleash on you today..."

Ashtel stomped his feet, damaged the ’Paradise’ by creating cracks in the ground and space, and unleashed a punch straight at Dahaka’s head.

Before Ashtel’s punch could connect, Dahaka’s body disappeared, and a young Link appeared in his place who looked at Ashtel’s face and smiled brightly, saying,

"Papa! Welcome home!"

Once again, the memory was shattered by Ashtel’s fist as the space-time fabric was ruptured.

But unlike the previous time, Ashtel stopped in his tracks, and a little bit of blood started flowing from the corner of his mouth, making even him surprised.

"You are not the only person who has managed to improve his world authority level, Ashtel Rex..."

"My hard-working son managed to create a once-in-a-million opportunity for me... So it would be better if you don’t underestimate me..."

A mocking smile appeared on the demon king’s face as he stood in the sky and smirked at Ashtel.

As if taunting Ashtel, Dahaka opened his arms wide as he looked at the massive ’Paradise’ with an evil grin on his face.

"This is your ’Paradise’ Ashtel Rex. Whatever you do inside this place will have an effect on you and you alone!"

"Damaging this realm will affect your own soul and sea of consciousness... once it’s shattered, your soul will be destroyed, and you will be nothing but a living corpse!"

Hearing those words, Ashtel realized the reason for the internal damage that just occurred in his body.

The damage that was dealt to this realm directly affected his soul, mind, and body in real time!

’This is tricky... He’s got new tricks up his sleeve now...’

Ashtel had fought Dahaka before to a stalemate, but the previous time the method of escaping Dahaka’s world authority’s influence was shattering the ’Paradise’ realm.

But things were completely different now that Dahaka had increased his world authority level.

His world authority, ’True Paradise,’ could bring out the target’s envisioned paradise and make a manifested realm of it.

Originally it was supposed to create powerful debuffs against the target by using their emotions and various mental weak points, but now things were more troublesome, as even the damage to the realm was reflected back to the target.

Ashtel’s skills were insanely offensive, and even a casual punch could rupture the very fabric of space and time, and the demon king knew this very well.

So obviously he was not going to fight Ashtel in brute strength!

He was going to fight in the field that he excelled at, and that was manipulation and debuff!
