In the original novel that Rio once read, Aino Felicia was one of the many female leads that eventually ended up in Fade Crest, the main character’s harem, just like Kira.

Born into the fox tribe that was almost going extinct in the modern age, Aino Felicia was blessed with a rare class called ’Detective.’

She was the one that cleaned up after each and every time Fade messed up something.

Aside from her extraordinary intelligence and intuition, Aino Felicia was blessed by the ’law’ of ’Hunt’ and had the legendary skill ’Absolute Detection’at her disposal!

As the name suggests, the legendary skill ’Absolute Detection’ grants its user the ability to detect anything and everything that the user wishes to detect.

The power of the law of ’Hunt’ was immense, and with its help, Aino could detect any coordinate she wanted, even if it was far away in the universe.

Her favourite quote was, ’As long as you exist in the same universe as me, I can always find you.’

Even if she didn’t know anything about the location, as long as someone asked her to find something with even a vague description, she could easily figure out the pinpoint location using the ’law’ of ’hunt.’

In the original novel, Fade had once asked Aino to find the location of a dungeon that he had randomly dreamt about and was filled with treasures.

To Rio’s shock, Aino was really able to find that dungeon despite not even knowing what Fade’s dream looked like or whether it even existed in reality.

This feat of hers was enough to baffle Rio even when he was just reading the novel, but after coming to this world, the feat seemed even more impressive than he had originally thought.

That’s why Rio wanted to meet Aino while on his mission to steal the crown.

His motive was simple and precise. Rio wanted to find the exact location of the ’Being’ that would one day descend on this world through an SSS-rank dungeon.

Although peeping into the existence of that being might have caused severe backlash to Aino, Rio didn’t care; all he wanted was to know how much time he had left to prepare exactly.

In simple words, Raika had thwarted Rio’s plan before it could even be put in motion.

There were only a few people in the entire world who knew about the location of the crown, its powers, and the procedure that was needed to be followed to break the seal placed upon it.

One was King Allen, who had placed the seal himself; the second was Rio, who knew about all the details from the novel; and the third was the demon king, who likely inherited the knowledge related to the crown from miasmic corruption itself!

Even Fade had only managed to find out about the procedure for breaking the seal with Aino’s ability’s help.

In the current timeline where Aino and Fade had never met, the only person who could have brought the crown out of its seal was the Demon King Nebo Dahaka.

"I-I... I gave him a new body. The body of an adult man from the Nebo Civilization..."

"W-we made this deal in the spirit realm..."

The power of the crown of endless realms couldn’t materialize in the real world unless it was brought out from its seal.

But as an artifact that was in sync with miasmic corruption, the crown could project its consciousness in the spirit realm without any restrictions!

That was the main reason why Rio mistook Raika to be a projection, as he thought there was someone controlling him from behind!

If the Demon King got a new body, there’s a possibility that he could make his own mental and soul corruption milder and regain his consciousness to the full extent.
