Chapter 797: Peeking Into The Secrets Of The Universe! Part-2.

Rio’s consciousness blurred for a second, and a feeling of discomfort assaulted his mind as he felt that he seemed to have travelled a vast distance through time and space.

For some reason, he seemed to have gained a 360-degree vision!

In that moment, Rio could not only see behind him with full clarity; he could even see what was above him and below him all at the same time!

The strangest thing about it all, though, was that he didn’t feel any incompatibility with this kind of all-directional vision; it felt comfortable and easy to use.

Without giving Rio time to even feel confused, a massive amount of information rushed into his mind.

Thankfully, his brain was now insanely powerful, and he had already been through similar situations before, so Rio managed to endure through the pain and digest the information in just a few seconds!

’I see... so when you are only imagining the location of an entity and not actively teleporting to it, the crown only brings a small part of your consciousness to the specific location and time...’

’I imagined the location of ’Raksha’ but didn’t tell it to directly teleport my body over to the other side, so the crown has only brought a part of my consciousness here by wrapping it in the law of ’space and time’...’

’The power needed to pull off something like this would have likely been immense, perhaps equal to the power produced by a supermassive sun exploding into a supernova and releasing massive amounts of energy in the process...’

Aside from SS-rankers like Ashtel, who could borrow the power of the laws of the universe with the help of their ’World Authority,’ it was simply impossible for anyone to even provide this level of energy.

Moreover, just having massive energy output would not be enough; you would also have to have an insanely powerful grasp over the laws of space and time to do this.

Perhaps only the crown of endless realms is the only artifact that can do this so easily.

’Unless I reach rank SS and awaken a powerful ’World Authority’ that has an insanely high power output, even I will not be able to ’copy’ this power of the crown...’

*HMMMMM~* HMMMMMMM~

Just when Rio was busy thinking about various things in his mind, he heard a soft humming noise from a distance.

’Eh? Isn’t this outer space? How am I even hearing anything... no, wait, I am not hearing it; I am sensing it through my consciousness and mind directly from the space-time fabric...’

Before Rio had time to understand what the humming sound was, he saw a brightly glowing object streak through the darkness of void.

The flying speed of the object was so fast that even Rio, who was proud of his speed, couldn’t properly keep up with it.

’Bending the space-time fabric to travel faster than the speed of light without creating the slightest bit of disturbance in the nearby area...’

’Was that the ’Raksha’?...’

Before Rio could understand the situation properly, his consciousness blurred, and he suddenly felt like he had teleported once again!

The crown had teleported him to a new location once again, and this time the scenery was completely different.

Compared to the previous time, where most of the area was empty around him, this time Rio was in a place littered with massive broken asteroids and meteors!

It seemed as if someone had shattered hundreds of planets and had dumped their broken pieces in his one place like garbage!

Rio could faintly feel the existence of broken ruins still barely existing on the surface of the shattered planet’s debris.

But all this wasn’t what attracted Rio’s attention the most.

What made him even more shocked was the fact that there was a gigantic sword floating in the empty space in front of him.

The sword was colossal in size; it was so massive that for a moment Rio couldn’t even recognize what this gigantic object was.

’Insanity...’

The sword of cosmic order, Raksha, was right in front of him, but instead of examining it, Rio just looked at it in awe.

The massive object was big enough to cover the entire solar system; even the two suns of this solar system looked like little light bulbs in front of this massive celestial body.

’It’s in bad shape...’

The first thing that Rio noticed about the sword was that it was broken, shattered in half.

Its edge was broken and dull; the beautiful golden carvings on the blade were cracked in many places and so badly damaged that Rio couldn’t even tell what those carvings were about.

The hilt of the sword was covered in a dense dark purplish aura, which Rio was extremely familiar with.

’Miasma? The sword of cosmic order has been corrupted?’

Before Rio could make sense of the whole scene, his vision blurred again, and his consciousness travelled vast distances through space and time before arriving at a new location.

The moment Rio looked at this new place, he felt his consciousness become restless for a moment.

In front of him was a gigantic crack in the spacetime fabric; just the power of distortion in the area was so strong that Rio could feel the very fabric of reality rupture.

The spatial fluctuations in the area were so strong that Rio almost felt dizzy just looking at the scene in front of him despite his mind being so strong and powerful.

A massive sword broken and cracked in many places slowly slid into the gigantic space crack with massive broken pieces of it following right behind it.

The space-crack suddenly became unstable as if it didn’t want to let this foreign power in the shape of a sword enter its own domain.

Thankfully, the big sword barely managed to slide itself inside along with all the major broken fragments of itself before the space-crack lost its stability completely and closed.

Rio watched the entire scene unfold in front of him till the end and keenly noticed that some small fragments the size of an adult’s palm didn’t manage to make it through the other side and were now floating in empty space aimlessly.

A sword that once dominated countless lives with the power of the various ’laws’ of the universe inside of it had been forced to such a pathetic state that it had to flee using a space crack; it was truly ironic.
