Looking at Igon, Allen realized everything in an instant.

"I have betrayed no one, Allen. From the very beginning I am loyal only to my own people. I never cared about the life and death of you or your world alliance..."

"To me, only the shadow dragon race matters. I want to lead my race to prosperity and seek greater opportunities for them."

"I want to bring them away from that abominable dragon valley where they have to suffer humiliation every single day!"

As Igon spoke, more and more powerful individuals started to appear one after another.

Dozens of SS rank demons and several Alliance members who had allied with Igon all surrounded Allen and Bela in a matter of a few milliseconds.

"Originally, I had placed my hopes on you, Allen. I thought that as a chosen of heaven, you would lead the world to prosperity, and my people would have a place in your so-called ’Perfect World’..."

"But now, it seems that this endless war has clouded your mind and judgement; despite being a savior, all you have done is lead everyone to a pointless war that has no end in sight..."

While bringing out his spear, Igon looked straight in Allen’s eyes and spoke,

"Uncountable beings have died because of your decision... you are no longer a ’Hero’! You are no longer a ’Chosen One,’ Allen!!"

"I will not entrust the future of my race to a war-hungry tyrant like you!!"

Hearing those words, a look of bitter helplessness appeared on Allen’s face; he knew that there was nothing he could say in this moment that would change Igon and those other SS rankers’ minds.

Even Allen himself was starting to doubt the credibility of raging this endless war; let alone the others, he had no genuine reason left to condemn others’ actions.

Several SS-rankers from the alliance betraying him and joining the side of miasma with Igon was not an unexpected thing; this was bound to happen sooner or later.

Before Allen could finish his words, the Demon King twisted his hand and broke the neck of the person he was holding hostage.

"Yes! This is the wife of your little friend Zain Dred! BAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!! I USED HER TO MAKE YOUR LITTLE FRIEND SURRENDER WILLINGLY AND THREW HIM IN THE PIT OF CORRUPTION BENEATH MY CASTLE!!!"

"It was hilarious!!! Once we kidnaped his wife, that fool fell in our trap so easily!! He willingly came to the demon continent alone and got surrounded by us all!"

"BAHAHAHAHAH!!!! WE ALL GATHERED TOGETHER AND MADE HIM STAND THERE LIKE A FOOL!!!"

"We made him take our attacks on himself willingly, and we beat him half dead several times!! Ahhh~ it was so fun while it lasted~..."

While laughing like a maniac, the demon king threw the corpse of Zain’s wife at Allen’s feet.
