Sitting on a random boulder holding a hot cup of tea, Zain spoke endlessly like a chatty old man who liked to lament about his past all day long!

But of course, Rio didn’t find him boring in the slightest. This was the first time Rio had anything close to a biological family in two lifetimes; he was happy to accompany Zain for a while, as he still had plenty of time.

"But then those bast*rds couldn’t kill me no matter what they did because the ’law’ of ’Death and Destruction’ refused to let me die..."

"Only then did I realize that even if you are a ’God,’ you can’t just forcefully kill anybody if the ’Laws’ of the ’universe’ refuse to obey your commands."

"The dumbfounded look on those idiot’s faces when they realized I couldn’t be killed was quite amusing to watch, hehe~"

From the memories of the crown, Rio already knew that the ’God of Decay’ had already mastered the power of a sub-law, the ’law of decay,’ that came under the authority of the ’Law of Death and Destruction’ by the time of Zain’s ambush.

And yet, the ’law of death’ sided with Zain and didn’t let the ’God of Decay’ and his minions kill Zain; this clearly meant that the ’law’ had no intention of letting the ’God of Decay’ get full control over it and become a ’True God’ in the proper sense.

This was crucial knowledge that Rio did not know about and could prove to be useful in the future if he had to confront that being in the future.

’There’s no way the current Demon King didn’t know that Zain was living literally in his own backyard all along. He likely couldn’t tell me or give memories about this information, as that would have been noticed by miasma...’

’Only when I am personally talking to Zain can I suppress miasma and make it unable to hide information from me.’

’I guess this is also one of the reasons why the Demon King wanted me to journey across the Demon Continent. He wanted me to meet Zain but couldn’t exactly tell me in the direct manner...’

The more Rio thought about it, the more he realized how much of a crafty old fox the current Demon King was.

’I must not take that old fox lightly... he even defeated Ashtel Rex; I need to be more guarded against him.’

While Rio was contemplating various things in his head, Zain sipped the tea and spoke,

"Although I can’t taste it, if it’s made by you, it must be good! After all, I was good at tea making myself, and you resemble me a lot, so you will definitely be good at this too!"

Hearing those words, Rio felt that this old ancestor was going to keep talking about random meaningless things for the rest of time, so it was better to give him a push.

"Ahem, weren’t you saying you had a legendary skill? What’s it called?"

Only when Rio nudged him with his words did Zain come back to the main topic with an embarrassed laugh.

Zain looked into Rio’s eyes and spoke in a calm voice,

"I can see the ’Destination Point’ of anyone and anything and can manipulate that ’Endpoint’ of their existence to a certain extent. This is also the reason why I noticed that you seem like you are stuck in a dilemma..."

"I know that your final ’Destination Point’ is to live a peaceful and ordinary life, isn’t it? You are imagining a life with your lover in a small secluded house located in a field of flowers..."

"It’s a nice dream, an ambition worth staking your life on, if I must say."

Hearing Zain spill out his deepest, darkest secrets so easily, Rio almost felt speechless.

"You... how did... Wait, I am an anomaly. How is your legendary skill still working on me... it should have triggered my... no wait, you bypassed it..."

Rio was originally doubtful why ’True Immunity’ never triggered and never blocked Zain from peeping into his heart, but then he realized the truth.

’He’s not hostile to me...’

Yes, True Immunity is an extremely powerful ability that can utilize Rio’s abilities of an ’Anomaly’ to boost its own effectiveness and can block all malicious and strange attacks directed towards Rio.

But this ability has one extremely fatal flaw... it never gets triggered against someone who has no intention of harming Rio in the slightest.

’This is similar to how my ’Sword Intent’ behaves around Lia... He easily bypassed ’True Immunity’ because he was never hostile towards me and was only trying to help...’

Rio had only met Zain today for the first time, and yet, the other party had already been recognized as someone trustworthy by his own abilities.

"Don’t forget, I have the legendary skill ’Destination Point.’ Who else can give a better ’Push’ than it? Hehe~"
