To Rio, the sword feels calm, and he doesn’t sense any malice from it due to his own unique nature, but to other beings of the universe, just the presence of that sword was enough to send shivers down their spines!

The moment Rio re-summoned his sword, he basically broadcasted his own exact coordinates to the Demon King.

With that, the final gear in the massive plan was put in perfect position, and the Demon King used the ’Unique’ ability of the rare class ’Assassin’ to sneak up on Rio and stab him!

The battle between Rio and Nebo Dahaka was never about all-out martial skill clashes; it was a battle of minds and planning.

The Demon King had been planning all these things from the moment he started noticing Rio.

The Demon King was the only person in the entire world who had enough mastery over the fate and destiny that he could break all the ’Strings of Destinies’ on Rio’s body.

To become a ’True Anomaly,’ to taste ’Death’ in the closest form possible, Rio had to have all his links severed to this world, and he could only be the Demon King to do it.
