Chapter 1334: A different kind of supreme

Seberus walked towards Michael, whispering in his ear. "This Nymph is not normal. I’ve never heard of a demi-human reaching the 9th-level of magic like she is."

"So it’s true?" Michael asked.

"Yes," Seberus said. "Every Mystic Master controls a certain part of reality. Lazarus controls death. I control fire. This kind of dominion over a part of reality will subsist until the death of the Mystic Master.

And the Guild of Arcana had never had a Mystic Master who could control Nature itself. Ever since the start of our organization, no one had been able to master that part of reality yet.

Some of our peers eventually concluded that no one was yet worthy to control something as prevalent as nature itself. But it seems that the truth is far more simpler than we thought. Somebody already controls it."

And that very person was standing right in front of them. The demi-human monarch. The Nymph.

Judging from what Seberus said, it seemed that this Monarch in front of him was actually already thousands of years old! Michael wouldn’t have guessed that by a mile, especially with the kind of personality that she showed him earlier.

But also, it made sense.

Even though the demi-human kingdom was almost destroyed and occupied by the Ersatz, even though most of their army was decimated, even though they’ve lost a lot of lives, the Nymph Monarch didn’t even seem bothered about it at all.

At first, Michael thought that she didn’t care about them.

But now that he learned that she may be thousands of years old, he realized that she was actually just used to it.

In the entire history of their demi-human kingdom, she must have experienced all sorts of tragedies and catastrophes. This kind of event was not the first time she’d lived through it.

That explained why she didn’t seem bothered by it. In her eyes, death was normal. Any demi-human that experienced death would only be reunited with nature itself, giving life to microscopical creatures, and starting the cycle of life!

No wonder these demi-humans could live under the ground for so long. Their Monarch created their own biosphere here!

"Oh! Hahaha, that’s cool. And so, what did they do?"

Meanwhile, the Nymph Monarch giggled and laughed as a vine next to her squirmed. It was as if she was talking to it, and it was talking to her.

"That’s clever!" the Nymph said to Michael. "You actually got one of my armies to trade with you!"

Michael was surprised to hear that. It seemed that nature itself had tattled on him. He wouldn’t have expected this at all.

This meant that there was absolutely no secret for anything here in the demi-human kingdom. She could hear and see everything. This was her domain!

It wasn’t long before she was all caught up with everything that happened.

"You... you are Michael... and you created the Reborn company and all of its technology... and you have a Supreme Talent...," the Nymph said, tilting her head as if she didn’t understand something.

"But... but you were able to awaken one of my citizens... strange..."

Now, her question was valid. In fact, it was a question that was in everyone’s mind, including Theresa and Levi.

Yes, the fact that Michael could awaken the talents of others meant that he had a Supreme Talent.

However, that kind of thing should only extend to his own species. He should only be able to awaken other humans.

The Ocean King couldn’t awaken a Monster. And the Monster Queen couldn’t awaken a Draconian. They each had their own domain over an entire species, with absolutely no crossover whatsoever.

This meant that Michael was an anomaly in and of himself.

Demi-humans should be under her domain.

"Hehehe, interesting," said the Nymph. "You’re one special human, aren’t ya?"

Michael had no idea what she was on about. He’d always been able to awaken other species. He’d awakened a Merman. He’d awakened a Dwarf. And he’d awakened a Fairy.

Is it because I have two Supreme Talents?

Of course, he wasn’t going to say that out loud.

"Does that mean that you agree to being my ally?" he asked her.

"Yes," the Nymph replied. "I’ve been thinking about it even before all of this happened. Thanks to this little phone of yours."

Michael was very glad to hear that. Somehow, a phone being stolen from their kingdom ended up helping them gain an alliance with the demi-human kingdom!

He should do that more often.

It was at this point that another shadow appeared right next to Michael. Sheina ascended from the shadows, holding a stack of white papers in her hand.

"Good morning, demi-human Monarch. You wouldn’t mind signing a few documents in order to declare our alliance, would you?"

The Nymph pursed her lips. "Looks boring."

"If you do so, then I am authorized to give you a few gifts."

The demi-human Monarch looked extremely pleased to hear that. "Like what?"

"More phones. Maybe even a tour of the entire Nation of Reborn. Or maybe, I could get you a guest cameo on the new Dragon movie sequel that we’re doing."

"YES! PLEASE! I WANT A CAMEO, WHATEVER THAT IS. I WANT TO BE IN THE MOVIE!"

Sheina smiled, before giving her the papers. The Nymph Monarch took a vine from the ground and began to sign the papers using the tree’s sap.

"Signing this means that you authorize the Reborn company to start building the bridge in the Chasm, correct?"

"Yes! Now, promise me, alright? I want to appear in the movie! Oh, and I want to meet that dragon! And the other cast members!"

"Of course," Sheina said. Then, she turned towards Michael, giving him a big bow.

Michael couldn’t help but applaud her. She was such a good secretary. In a few seconds, she was able to seal the deal.

Now, they had completed exactly what they came here for!

They could finally build a bridge in the Chasm!
