Chapter 1350: Bridge town
Chapter 1350: Bridge town
Immediately, Michael’s plans were as clear as day to Theresa.
He was planning on selling real estate in the Bridge!
After all, with the scale and the immensity of this project that he was planning, it was inevitable to have a ’town’ built around the bridge itself.
Millions upon millions of travellers would eventually traverse through this bridge every single day. That meant that there would be potentially millions of new customers visiting this new ’bridge town’ and be partaking in its business.
Of course, Michael could always have the town be something that was only, purely Rebornian made. He could have all of the establishments here as their own brand.
But what he was proposing was that there could be other companies who could potentially rent a space here and establish their business in the Bridge. They would not only form a good connection with that company, but they would also be making money passively, without even doing anything!
And the reason Michael wanted ’new’ and ’upcoming’ companies was the fact that this town was still unproven, basically.
It might potentially have a lot of customers, but that was still something that was for the future. This meant that if Michael tried to sell this real estate to some of the bigger companies, say the Conglomerates, then they would immediately reject his offer. And if they do want a space, then they would immediately offer him a very minimal amount of rent.
So, Michael instead planned to first connect with a small company. Then, if that company proved to become successful purely because of their position in the bridge, then Michael could use that as evidence and as leverage against the Conglomerates, making the price go up.
And by that point, it wouldn’t only be the Conglomerates who would want a space in the bridge. It would be every company. This meant that the real estate prices would keep going up and up and up, which would only benefit the Reborn company even more!
"That is genius," Theresa muttered, her lower lip trembling in excitement. She was an expert in real estate. It’s her own domain when she was in the Goldstone Conglomerate. So, she knew exactly how much potential revenue that this business could offer to the Reborn company.
"If all goes well, you could basically set the price of rent as high as you want. And the Conglomerates will have no choice but to bite."
Michael nodded. "And not only that. But having Conglomerate business establishing here in the Bridge would only legitimize the town itself, making it more elite."
It was at this point that Theresa couldn’t help but shake her head in amazement to the young leader of Reborn.
No wonder Michael was able to turn this company into a near Conglomerate-level company in such a short amount of time. His business acumen was incredibly strong!
"I’d like to take all the credit, but the nitty gritty details of the plan is something that Castelle made. I just told her the gist, and she made the plan that basically made it all work."
He handed her the blueprint for their project, which would now be named as ’Bridgetown.’
There were plots of land here that were strategically placed to accommodate other companies. It even had notes specifically detailing the possible companies that they could poach, and the strategies that they would take in order to create that contract.
It was a work of art. Truly, the Reborn company was a place where monstrous geniuses had gathered.
It wasn’t just in the business sector. But in the army sector as well.
In such a large scale as this, the first thing that Theresa would be worried about was the security. Millions of people would travel here. Meaning, hundreds of thousands of people from different factions, alliances, and culture. There was bound to be some troublemakers who would want to sow chaos just because they could.
And a little accident was all that was needed in order to turn the reputation of the Reborn company upside dow. So, it was imperative that they had their security in place before they do anything else.
But as expected of Reborn, they were already on top of it all.
They had a specific division just for policing the entire town. And if anything untowards were to happen, then those strange, Shadow Orcs would immediately report it to the proper authorities.
And within seconds, an entire group of Rebornian soldiers would be deployed to take care of the situation.
There were also the demi-humans as well. Not just the ones in the Reborn company. But the ones that were residing deep in the Chasm too.
Michael had finished Awakening all of their talent. And Theresa’s arm hair was still raising whenever she would think about the moment she met their army.
It was truly frightening. Those demi-humans would always be below the bridge, watching, listening, and if something bad were to happen, they would be among the first to respond.
And all of them would be trained by two Mystic Masters, and two grandmaster level swordsmen.
Such power... Theresa could only weep for those who would dare try to attack Reborn.
Who would ever think that the Lionheart Patriarch and the Heavenly Swordmistress were in charge of training the Rebornian soldiers?
And then, Seberus and Lazarus were also there to instruct some of the soldiers, teaching them their own specialties and battle knowledge.
That wasn’t even the extent of their security! They had Drones, Dragons, and everything else!
"Haaa..."
Theresa knew now. She was a frog, looking up at a well. Reborn was far and beyond the only company in the world who could go against a Conglomerate and fight them on even grounds.
"You don’t have to worry," Michael assured her. "If your siblings ever come here to make trouble, we’ll deal with them. I promise you that."
"Oh they will come here," Theresa said. "If not to gloat over their new territory that they got from me, then to snort derision at my decision. They’ll probably treat the bridge as inferior, just to spite me."
Michael laughed. "Well, they’ll learn about it soon enough."
