Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family

Chapter 1460: Return

Chapter 1460: Return

Soon after, Michael had everybody settle down. He then explained everything to them, including the fact that he had changed reality in order to save Zion’s life.

"Wow.... you did all that for me, bro Mike?!" Zion said, meekly sitting on a bench.

Zion had forgotten what had happened after he saved the little boy from the explosion. He didn’t even know he died.

But now that he knew, he was very thankful.

"Well, it’s not all just me," he said to Zion. "I think that you also had a hand in it. If it weren’t for your unique powers, then I doubt it would have worked."

Zion was unique. He was special from the very beginning. After all, he was a SSS-class talent just like Fudge and Michael.

Despite that talent, Zion had lagged behind everybody when it came to cultivation. While everybody was going up in stages, Zion remained stagnant at the start.

And eventually, Zion evolved just like his siblings. But unlike them, he evolved to become a giant red dragon who was not able to transform back into a human.

Zion had always been different from the rest. And Michael had a feeling that his unique strength was what allowed Michael to rewrite his death so easily. If it were anybody else, then he doubted that he would be able to do it.

Also, there was that strange woman’s hands....

He had a feeling that that was actually the Iron Maiden. Though, he didn’t have any real evidence to that fact. However, who else would have the power to help him in such times? Only she had shown the power to interact with his Diva and his Aubility Powers when she once pretended to be his Diva.

And also, I don’t know why Worcester lost both of his eyes. There’s a lot of unknown things that happened during everything that happened.

Michael decided not to let himself be bogged down by unnecessary thoughts. Now, he should be happy that Zion was alive. Nothing else mattered at that point.

And not only that, but it looked like everyone had become stronger as well.

Watching Jaku, Sheina, and Umisu talk and banter with Zion, Michael immediately noticed that the three of them had reached the Nascent Spirit realm.

The Aubility Power emanating out of them was very strong. Solid like that of steel. It was not something expected of a recently awakened Nascent Spirit cultivator.

And they weren’t the only ones. It seemed that the two Orc Chieftains have also awakened to the next realm.

Narito and Sasuki emanated real danger now. In fact, even Michael had trouble sensing their presences. Their stealth had gone up into another level completely.

After that, Michael’s attention was placed to a certain person in the crowd.

Kong. The Chief Engineer of Reborn. He had also become a Nascent Spirit cultivator.

Michael expected the Dragonborns and the Shadow Orcs to ascend to near demi-godhood. That’s what he had been aiming for this entire time. He believed that with enough battles, they would eventually advance to the Nascent Spirit realm.

And he was right.

But he didn’t expect Kong to actually advance as well. But then again, he never really had a good grasp on the advancement requirements of a non-combat Maugnetic.

It didn’t matter. Michael was still very much glad that they now had another Nascent Spirit cultivator in their midst.

In a single day, they had gone from just one Nascent Spirit cultivator, to now almost reaching the double digits!

With this, he was sure that no one else could argue their position in the Golden Rankings. Now, they truly deserved to be thought of as an Upper Echelon with no doubts.

"Awww! Does this mean I’m no longer a Dragon?!" Zion shouted.

Michael looked at Zion and looked at his heart. Zion wasn’t a Maugnetic. He didn’t have any GodForge pieces in his heart.

Instead, his heart was a totally different organ entirely.

He had become a Beastfolk, much like a true Draconian.

However, his heart was different from a Draconian. In fact, every organ in his body was different from a Draconian. Zion was a totally different species from a Draconian.

And in his Beastfolk heart, Michael saw a dormant power just waiting to burst out.

He was sure. Zion also had the power of a Nascent Spirit cultivator. The youngest Dragonborn would now have the same power as those tyrannical and explosive Draconians that were feared all over the world.

And despite them all being in the same level now, Michael could tell that in terms of pure firepower, Zion was stronger than any of his siblings.

The youngest Dragonborn, who couldn’t even cultivate before, was now much stronger than his older brother and sisters.

It was a strange situation. It seemed that even Zion wasn’t aware of this fact. He seemed to think of himself as much weaker than he actually was.

"How am I going to fly now?! OH MY GOD! WHAT ABOUT OUR MOVIE?!" Zion shouted in despair and horror.

And for some reason, Michael didn’t want to tell him the truth. It didn’t matter. He’d find out eventually.

"Lord Michael, may I suggest a celebratory party spanning every single territory in Reborn?" Sheina asked him.

Michael immediately agreed. A festival was just what everyone needed as a ’pick-me-up’.

Every single one of their territories was attacked. It was important to show their allies and their friends that Reborn wouldn’t back down nor would they abandon their ideals even after everything that happened.

A festival would be right for that.

But of course, a festival couldn’t happen if streets and buildings were still destroyed.

Michael then approached Kong.

"How are you feeling?"

The Yellow Mankey looked at his hands in wonder. "I don’t know, boss. It’s weird. I feel like I could touch reality itself."

"That’s because you can," Michael replied. "You’re a Nascent Spirit cultivator now. You can rewrite reality to whatever you want."

Kong gulped. "That... that seems hard to believe... me? A Nascent Spirit cultivator?
