Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family

Chapter 1480: Bandits

Chapter 1480: Bandits

The attacks happened all over the Elite Society.

With how popular the Rebornian products had become over the last few days, the demand for them had skyrocketed. This meant that their prices in the black market had also risen tremendously.

This had attracted some opportunistic people who wanted to take advantage of the tumultuous time that the Reborn company was currently in.

But as the night wore on, a figure in the skies emerged.

"Nyahahah! Bow down, for the Dragon King has arrived."

The bandits were alarmed. They hung by the side of the trucks and looked up at the dark skies.

There, they saw a young man. Barely in his teens. Red, spiky hair, and a very prideful look on his face.

"A kid?"

"Is this the escort for the trucks?"

"It seems that the Reborn company truly is in trouble! They could only send a kid to protect their trucks!"

The Nascent Spirit cultivator in their midst looked up and stared at the red-haired youth. "There’s something weird," he said. "He... he looks powerful."

The fact that the red-haired kid could keep up with them meant that he was not a simple individual.

"Keep on pillaging the boxes. Get as much phones as you can, and get ready for a quick escape," said the Nascent Spirit thief. "I’ll deal with the kid."

He jumped up, meeting the red-haired kid in the darkness of the skies.

"We do not wish to harm you. Let us go peacefully, and we do not need to fight each other," said the bandit.

Zion stood firm, with his hands on his waist. "As the fighter of justice, I cannot do that. The Dragon King always answers against evil!"

The Nascent Spirit bandit shook his head. "You give me no choice."

Just as he was about to do something, he suddenly noticed something above him. He immediately backed away, with fear emitting out of his eyes.

"Zion, when dealing with bandits like these, you shouldn’t be giving them time to escape."

The Nascent Spirit bandit looked up, only to see a skeleton hanging in the air. This surprised the bandit because he couldn’t sense him up until he spoke!

"Who are you?!" the bandit screamed, his Aubility Power ready to be unleashed at any second.

Grieve waved his hand. "Don’t worry. I’m not here to fight you. I’m just here to supervise. Carry on. You were supposed to attack Zion."

Hearing this, the Nascent Spirit bandit furrowed his brows. What was this skeleton saying? Was he... was he using this opportunity to teach the young red-haired kid how to fight?

That was absurd!

"Come on!" Zion said. "I’m raring to fight!"

Seeing him being completely underestimated, the Nascent Spirit bandit charged towards Zion. His eyes were bloodthirsty. He was going to kill if he had to.

His sword curved like the moon, forming a scythe that cleaved towards the red-haired kid.

Zion raised his hands. And then, Red scales grew around his arms, forming a gauntlet that almost tripled the size of his fists.

The bandit’s eyes widened. "Nascent Armor!"

But it was already too late. Zion punched forwards, meeting the scythe head on.

Both weapons clashed. However, one was clearly more powerful than the other.

The bandit’s scythe bounced back, its blade wobbling from the force of the punch. A few seconds later, the bandit heard a crack in his scythe.

"WHAT?!"

"Hehehe, this is fun! Finally! Oh how I’ve missing punching things!"

Before the bandit could recover from his shock, Zion charged forwards and punched. The shockwave destroyed the fabric of space in front of him. Then, it reached the Nascent Spirit bandit, hitting him straight in the soul.

"GAHHH!"

Blood spurted out of the bandit’s mouth. Zion’s punch had nearly knocked him out in one go.

"Ora! Ora! Ora!"

Zion continued his barrage of punches. Most of them missed completely. He seemed to just be punching things for the sake of punching.

And even still, just the shockwave from the punches left the bandit hurtling across the skies, before crash landing on the ground with a crack.

"Leader!"

Meanwhile, the other bandits hanging on the trucks were completely flabbergasted to see their Nascent Spirit leader get bodied so easily.

"Hehehe! You get a punch, you get a punch! Everybody gets a punch!"

Zion punched down towards the remaining bandits in the trucks. They all felt their lives flashing in their eyes as they stared at death right in their faces.

But then, a skeleton appeared in front of them, deflecting the punches away.

"Yohohoho, no need to get so excited, Zion. Michael told us not to destroy the trucks..."

A guilty look flashed on Zion’s face. "Oops! I forgot."

"Now, you should continue fighting these bandits. Punch them so that they would never want to plunder our products ever again," said Grieve.

It was at this point that the bandits immediately jumped out of the trucks with their hands raised up. "We surrender!"

After seeing the young kid’s devastating punches, they knew that they wouldn’t be able to survive taking even a single hit. Surrendering now would be the best choice.

"Aww.... I wanted to punch more!" Zion said.

It had been so long since he was able to unleash his punches. And now, he has become a Nascent Spirit cultivator! He was now at the same level as his siblings.

Of course, he thought that this was his time to shine.

Unfortunately, his opponents were too weak! They didn’t even last for a few seconds!

And just like that, the plundering and thievery was thwarted. The Rebornian trucks reached their destination without a single hiccup, much to the surprise of the Conglomerates and Upper Echelons watching Reborn.

"They were actually able to defeat the bandits..."

"Are they not as injured as we thought?"

"It seems that they’d be able to protect their products from now on..."

...

...

...

Michael sat at the very end of a long table.

In front of him were the officers of Reborn, the newly crowned Nascent Spirit cultivators!
