Chapter 288: Trip [I]

It was 3pm and all the students had been released from the confines of the school premises for the day…

Some of the students among various grades were being picked up by their parents or older siblings however amongst the 6th grade, a lot of children were waiting on the three children that stood up front looking at the majestic gates of the Middle School with anticipation.

One was Darren with a confident smile on his face, and a hand in his pocket cockily while the other was Freya who was holding onto Shiori's hand tightly.

Other students whispered among themselves, watching the scene unfold curiously. Everyone knew about the bet… Darren had been bragging about it all through last period.

"So what did your big brother say…?" Freya asked as she turned around to look at her friend curiously.

She honestly didn't care about winning or losing this stupid bet… however she wanted her mama to come as soon as possible, and take her home with Shiori.

She had to drag Papa for some gifts after all for being such a good student on her first day.

"Big brother said that I could come with you and he would pick me up later…" Shiori said nervously, her big brother had been very ecstatic to find out that she had a trusted friend finally. "Though he said it might have to be a sleep-over since he won't be coming home tonight from his dungeon raid."

It took a lot of talk for Shiori to convince him that her friend was a very nice person, though if Freya's parents didn't agree to the sleepover, then she wouldn't come over at all.

"I see…" Freya said and dragged her closer protectively. "Well, you're with me now. Nothing to worry about."

Then the first luxurious vehicle pulled up to the gates dramatically, the gateman opened it and out of the limousine came out Lily von Silberhain, a beautiful silver haired woman who elegantly walked over to Darren with grace.

She drew gazes among other people who came to pick up their children and Lily liked the attention immensely… it sometimes helped her ignore the fact that she was in Lucius's dms despite having a loving fiancee and he was ghosting her constantly without even reading her messages.

'Well the academy is soon starting and I'll be able to talk with him anyhow I like…' She thought with determination as she reached Darren and the little boy ran over and hugged her tightly. She laughed a bit.

"Sis-in-law… I won." He said proudly and she looked at him confused.

"Won what exactly?" She asked however there was a loud honk from the road… the Limousine that she had come in was forced to move even forward as women on motorcycles came first, roaring engines announcing their arrival, they parked a bit in front and came out, each of them wearing the uniforms of the Diamond Scorpion Guild proudly.

Her face paled considerably as she moved aside with him quickly… all of the nobles knew of it, the Diamond Scorpion Guild was headed by the Moon Goddess who had recently gained ownership of Aurelia since she was married to Lucius von Hohenberg.

Her expression grew bitter with jealousy as the women from the Diamond Scorpion Guild knelt on each side of the gates, forming a line that was wide enough for someone to pass through majestically… stopping right before where Freya was standing with Shiori in hand.

Then a Limousine stopped right in front of the gates majestically, a silver haired woman who was an elegant beauty came out from the Limousine gracefully… she was wearing the Diamond Scorpion Guild's leader uniform and her silver hair looked even more beautiful in the afternoon sunlight.

Her face was stoic as well and several people took pictures of her with their phones frantically… they could not believe that the Moon Goddess herself was actually in front of a middle school for pickup.

She walked through the members that had knelt and soon dropped to one knee in front of Freya.

"Mama's here…" She said with a warm smile and Freya let go of Shiori, running into Selene's waiting hands.

Selene lifted her up with one hand effortlessly with a smile and Freya brought out her tongue at Darren who shook where he stood in shock. "Did you enjoy your first day of school?"

"Yes mama…" She said while clinging onto Selene happily. "I got… all good marks and Miss Bethany likes me too."

Selene patted Freya's green hair affectionately, she was cute when she was like this.

"I'm glad, we'll review everything when we get home." Selene said then she looked at the girl who Freya had been holding hands with earlier. "So who is this girl?"

"She's my best friend mama, Her name is Shiori… I invited her to come over for tutoring." Freya said. "And she said her brother's not home too, so can she stay the night? Please…"

After her first try at pleading in the Shopping mall which made Papa look at her somehow strangely, she watched a video online and found out that was not how to give a pleading expression at all… so she learned the proper technique and now executed it on Selene perfectly.

It was super effective!

Selene looked at Shiori and extended her hand kindly. "Your name's Shiori right? Alright let's go together."

Shiori trembled for a bit and took Selene's hand, then Selene turned to the rest of the Diamond Scorpion girls.

"Move out. I have to cook for my husband before he gets home…" She said and the girls stood up in unison, exiting the place in perfect formation as she walked out with her daughter and her daughter's best friend in hand with maximum style.

She turned to Freya once they were a few steps away.

"We win, right?" She asked and Freya nodded enthusiastically.

"But Mama… how did you know about the bet?" Freya raised an eyebrow curiously and Selene chuckled.

"Well Papa told me about it, he also said he forbids all of us from losing to a Runenforscher so I had to give my best effort." Selene said as they reached the limousine. "If the girls weren't up for it… I guess I could have come in a private jet or something. But let's get home, Papa's worked really hard today so we have to fill his stomach up with good food."

"Aye aye mama!"

Behind them, Lily stood frozen. She had come in a single limousine. The Moon Goddess had arrived with an entire motorcade escort… just to pick up a kid?

Darren's face was pale. He had to drop out now…?

Several parents whispered, taking photos of the Diamond Scorpion Guild members as they drove away in formation.

Lucius sighed as he was dropped off in front of his mansion by the regular limousine, Alexia had just given him a fantastic blowjob in the car and he felt some of the stress recede from his body.

Not only had they been commissioned to protect the president, they had also been given another mission of fighting off a massive horde of monsters from a Dungeon Break that threatened the outskirts of the city and even another which required him and the captains to compete in a cooking show since the main team was down with food poisoning.

The gold medal was on his neck… he had won first place easily.

"All of that trouble was worth it though." He said as a cup of ice cream appeared in his hand, it was from the Ice-cream machine… and vanilla flavored too, after everything, he and the girls had just drunk enough ice-cream and dealt with massive paperwork. 'Plus we made a good headway in these missions today…'

The speech had been energizing and the members of the Supreme Guild had completed a lot of missions today successfully.

"Now I need to give not only Freya a gift… but Selene too for that amazing pickup." He said while full of glee as the gates opened and he walked through, greeting the maids attending to the side gardens while walking to the front door.

"I'm home." He said and opened the door fully, the first thing he saw in the living room was that a small table had been put there and Freya as well as a brown haired girl was sitting there with Selene standing over them in a black singlet and shorts that accentuated her curves perfectly and holding a black ruler like a strict teacher.

She had quite an ass… and it was all his for the taking, it made him pat himself on the back.

Selene turned to him and a bright smile adorned her beautiful face.

"Welcome home Hubby… I made lunch for you with Debi-" The words stuck in her throat as Lucius hugged her from behind, securing his hands around her waist firmly.

A blush found its way onto her cheeks as he tilted her face to the right and took her lips in front of the girls passionately.

After that, he leaned closer and whispered into her ear.

"We'll do a lot more today…"

Upon hearing that promise, it was as if her legs had turned to jelly however she gave him a meek nod and he turned to the girls, still in his Supreme Guild get-up.

"Oho~ Welcome home Freya… I'm guessing she's your friend right?" He looked over to Shiori who had a red face and was avoiding eye contact completely. "Is she scared of me?"

"No." Freya said while patting Shiori's head protectively. "Shiori is just naturally shy…"

"I see." Lucius said then patted Shiori's head too gently, making the girl shake in place nervously. "Thank you for being friends with my girl… Is there anything you want as a reward?"

The shy girl looked up at him as he withdrew his hand. "I… want?"

"Yes, anything you want." Lucius said kindly. "I won't bite, I'm supposed to take Freya out now for having an excellent school day."

Selene took hold of his waist and pulled him back.

"No you won't." She said firmly. "You smell like sweat, What if they say Lucius von Hohenberg smells because his wives aren't taking good care of him? You'll have your bath and these girls will finish their homework too before we go anywhere."

"Okay okay, now Shiori… what do you want?"

Shiori clenched her fists, she wanted to say it so bad… but at the same time, she didn't want it to look like she had just followed along with Freya because of that however no matter how hard she tried, the words came out of her mouth regardless.

"H-help…" She said and Lucius as well as the other girls perked up. "M-my mom has mana sickness… and my big brother works by raiding dungeons for a living to not only raise enough money to get a good healer for mom but also keep me in school… I l-love spending time with Freya, but I want to see my mom again."

She finished and tears fell onto her textbook in droplets.

"I'm… You don't need to… I just don't want my big brother to come home with a big wound anymore." She said and Freya passed her a handkerchief, she pressed it against her eyes and tried dousing out the tears then Lucius placed a hand on her head with a warm smile, she looked up at him and saw his smile as well as Selene's warm smile.

"That's what you needed? Okay… I'll make a quick call to find out where she is, girls finish up your homework and I'll freshen up then we can all go on a trip." He said and turned to Selene giving her a peck on the cheek. "Wanna come with?"

"I wouldn't miss it for the world." She said with a warm smile.

That smile dimmed as Rita was now standing with them outside the garage while Lucius pulled out in one of the luxury brand cars that had the standard four seats… it looked like a Koenigsegg and he smiled at the four girls standing outside waiting.

"Get in." He simply said and Rita and Selene turned to each other, playing a game of rock-paper-scissors to decide who got the coveted front seat while the two young girls entered the backseat.

"Papa, it's really comfortable~" Freya said and he smiled proudly.

"Yes… it is…" Shiori added with a small smile of her own, her cute face fit a smile much more than a frown.

At last, Selene won and got in front triumphantly while Rita got to the back with the girls with a disappointed sigh.

Shiori felt it was intimidating to sit down next to the Saintess who was one of the most valuable figures world-wide… she was the only woman blessed directly from the goddess herself after all.

But Freya didn't seem to think like that as she rested her face on Rita's lap comfortably and Rita gave a smile while stroking her green hair gently.

"Mama…"

"Did you do good? I heard it was your first day coming to school." Rita said and Freya nodded her head enthusiastically.

"She did too good in fact… it seems she understands her teacher very well. I might have to go and see her personally." Lucius said as they pulled out of the gates and Freya's face stiffened immediately.

"No!" She said loudly and Lucius stopped abruptly before pulling onto the street. "I won't allow you turn Miss Bethany into one of my mamas… she likes Papa too much already."

Lucius gave a hearty laugh and so did the other girls in the car.

"I already have so many mamas to handle, Papa can't really handle more women and besides, why would I be interested in your teacher when I have such beautiful women with me like Rita and Selene? Luna too, and Elena, Judea and-"

"Alright we get it. You don't have to list everyone out." Selene said while blushing. "So where's our first stop?"

"Well, I found out her Mother's whereabouts after asking the Hospital from a call…" He said. "We'll be heading there first."

Then he turned to Rita in the rearview mirror.

"Babe…" He said and Rita's cheeks reddened. "I'll need you to do a little bit of healing."

Rita blushed even harder, it was totally worth leaving a very important strategy meeting with her Guild Captains just so she could help Lucius…

"Yes darling, I'll try my best." She said with a confident expression and Selene groaned.

"Stop flirting while I'm in the car…" She groaned and Lucius placed a hand on her head, pulling her head to his shoulder.

"You're my little bunny." He said, cringing internally however it worked perfectly and Selene reddened as well and buried her face into his shoulder.

Her heart was beating like crazy.

The two girls in the back were unfortunate victims of the immense rizz section going on.

"Is this how adults always are?" Shiori whispered and Freya nodded wisely.

"Yes… they kiss and flirt all the time, I wonder if we'll do this when we grow up too." Freya said and Shiori blushed, she could imagine it.

They had left the rich neighborhood and turned to the main road and just as they entered, a blast of lightning hit the cars up front, vaporizing them entirely with a loud explosion.

A rogue lightning awakened was flying and laughing maniacally while zapping multiple cars out of existence… it honestly made Lucius sigh heavily. He hadn't dealt with a rogue awakened since like forever.

"So who's going to deal with this?" He asked while turning to his two wives calmly.

The street ahead was chaos… Cars swerved to avoid the lightning strikes and some were even crashing into each other. Civilians screamed and ran for cover as the rogue awakened cackled madly above them.

Lucius calmly pulled the Koenigsegg to the side of the road and put it in park.

"I'll handle it," Rita said, already reaching for the door handle.

"No, let me," Selene countered. "You need to save your energy for healing Shiori's mother."

"Both valid points," Lucius said. "Rock-paper-scissors again?"

Before they could start, another lightning bolt struck a bus, causing it to flip over. People were trapped inside, screaming for help.

"I guess I'll handle it." He said and teleported out of the car in an instant, using space to flip the bus as well as the other cars into place as well to prevent more crashing.

He appeared behind the rogue and the awakened turned to face him, however seeing his face… all that glee died down immediately as Lucius raised his hand.

"Fu-"

Lucius gave him a backhand slap that created a shockwave powerful enough to send him crashing into the ground below, completely knocked out.
