"Excuse me, what’s going on here?" Qin Xue looked from the outside but couldn’t see what was happening inside, so she had to ask the person next to her.

"Oh dear, it’s terrible! Not only was she robbed by a thief, but she was also stabbed. They’re waiting for the doctor now. You have no idea, there’s blood everywhere, it’s terrifying." The person turned to see a pretty young lady asking and couldn’t help but chat away.

"How is she doing now?" Qin Xue didn’t want to interfere, but her professional ethics wouldn’t let her ignore it, so she asked.

"Someone went to call the hospital, but nobody’s come yet. Who knows if she’ll make it." The woman clicked her tongue in regret as she spoke.

"Thank you, ma’am. I’ll go take a look." Qin Xue listened, her expression serious. She didn’t think the woman was exaggerating; it was evident how bad the situation must be inside.

"Miss, you’re not a doctor, better not get involved." The woman advised, seeing how young Qin Xue looked.

"I am a doctor. I’ll check the situation." Qin Xue understood the woman was worried she’d get into trouble, but just listening to her made it clear how critical things were. Saving the person might be impossible; it would be bad if she couldn’t help and ended up causing more trouble.

"Sigh." The woman let out a sigh, hoping everyone would be okay.

"Make way, please. I’m a doctor, let me take a look." Qin Xue realized with so many people crowding around, she couldn’t get in, so she shouted.

"Sister-in-law, you must hold on until the doctor arrives!" Qin Xue heard this just as she squeezed through the crowd.

"Sister-in-law, am I dying?" Cao Rui couldn’t believe that merely going shopping with her sister-in-law would end up like this. She’d gone out with her sister-in-law before, but why such bad luck this time?

"Don’t say such things, you’ll be fine." Liu Fen looked at her sister-in-law.

"Let me take a look at her." Qin Xue didn’t expect the ones she encountered were the two ladies she’d bumped into last time.

Qin Xue remembered them clearly because the way Liu Fen looked at her left a deep impression. So seeing them now brought back that memory instantly.

"It’s you, are you a doctor?" Liu Fen heard a pleasant voice and looked up to see Qin Xue.

"Yes, I’m a doctor, so can I examine her?" Qin Xue didn’t rush to check but sought their consent.

"Alright." Liu Fen nodded, trusting the young woman who had such clear and convincing eyes.

"I’ll stop the bleeding first, then she can have surgery and stitches at the hospital." Qin Xue assessed the situation. Fortunately, though she was hurt in the abdomen, she was lucky not to have hit any vital organs. But the wound was still severe, given the amount of blood loss.

"Okay, thank you." Liu Fen expressed her gratitude to Qin Xue.
