Adam can see that his words have managed to influence Danny into changing the way he thinks about people, especially women, but then again, can he use the powers he has properly is all up to him.
"Have you thought about it?" Adam asks.
Danny looks at Adam and back at Kelly, who is busy explaining the history of the establishment, talking about one of the investors who was actually the man behind the idea to establish a racing circuit in this city.
It was his passion and love for racing that made him want to talk with the city officials to bring motorsport to this city. And his efforts bore fruit.
This city is home to the biggest motorsport fans in the world, and that’s why this city is also one of the biggest hotspots for illegal racing that Adam’s going to participate in.
While Adam listens to Kelly with one ear, he waits for Danny’s answer with his other.
"Yes... I want to... But I don’t know how... Plus, I don’t know how to do it, and on top of that, will she even reciprocate, given that she is in a relationship?" Danny whispers back.
Adam smiles at Kelly, who feels his gaze and looks back at him before blushing and turning her head away to continue with her work.
Adam can already see the interest she has in her eyes for him; he can use this to his advantage.
"You want me to test the waters and see how open she is to it. If I can get her, then it would be a piece of cake for you as well," Adam says.
He could have, of course, directly directed Kelly to flirt with Danny, but he had no idea how Kelly would react to such a request. If he got to Kelly first and softened her up a little, she would be much easier to influence.
He also wants to see how Danny would react to him going after the girl he is interested in. Sure, Danny doesn’t have any emotional investment in Kelly, after all, he just saw her today and got infatuated by her hotness.
Adam wants to see if Danny’s the extreme jealous type, someone who immediately claims someone or something the moment they lay their eyes upon.
From the little experience Adam has spent time with Danny, he doesn’t think so, but it’s still better to check it out himself, unless he wants to find himself in hot water, given his Casanova-like nature.
"You can do that?" Danny asks curiously.
"I can, but you can’t get jealous if I manage to score before you get the chance to," Adam says.
"I don’t care about that... I want to know how it feels..." Danny says, blushing a little and reminding Adam that Danny’s a virgin.
Adam smiles and gives Danny a wink, saying, "Leave it to me, and just watch."
Adam says as he gets a little closer to Kelly and begins engaging her in a conversation, while Danny watches with interest as to what Adam does.
A few minutes into observing Adam, he sees that Adam’s really not doing anything unique. He is just talking to her like a normal guy, asking her questions, smiling at her while maintaining eye contact, and occasionally speaking up to engage in the conversation.
While he does see that Adam’s not doing anything out of the ordinary, he does notice the shift in Kelly’s behavior. She gets more talkative, she starts getting a little touchy with Adam, and she begins giggling or laughing at everything he says, even if it’s not funny.
Danny can clearly see how Kelly has become more open to Adam’s approach.
He is impressed by Adam’s ability to be able to gain Kelly’s interest so easily. The way he placed his hand on her back as they continued to move through the facility without any form of rejection made Danny question everything.
Kelly’s someone who is in a relationship; she shouldn’t even be entertaining the thought of Adam in her mind, let alone allow him to touch her in any way, but here she is, openly flirting with Adam and getting touchier to him by the minute.
He is also impressed with Adam, how he effortlessly charmed Kelly by doing basically the simplest of things, and how effortless it looked.
The tour finally came to an end at the exhibition room, which was filled with model cars and trophy replicas along with photos and posters of legendary racers from all motor sports.
"That’s the end of the tour," Kelly says, clapping her hand with a big smile on her face.
When she first met Adam and Danny, she was much more respectful, but after flirting with Adam and opening up physically to him, her behavior changed a lot, which Danny noticed.
"That was an amazing tour of the facility, of course, thanks to the best tour guide one could possibly ask," Adam says, placing his hand on her back, gently rubbing her while Kelly looks up at his face, smiling while pressing her lips together.
Danny notices the small changes in Kelly’s expression, the way she is looking at Adam with desire, the way she is rolling her lips, her fidgety fingers, and her shifty legs.
Danny can clearly see that Kelly is very interested in Adam, which makes his heart race from excitement as he realizes that he is seeing a master at his work.
"Oh, stop it~ I am just doing my job~" Kelly says, blushing a little.
"Really, and here I thought we were getting special treatment," Adam says teasingly while looking into her eyes.
Kelly’s heart flutters from Adam’s comment as he presses her lips again.
"Well, it was special treatment~ I was just trying to be a little modest," She says, blushing and avoiding Adam’s gaze.
Danny is watching this and eating it up; he has never seen a woman act like this. After all, he has very little experience with women in real life. His own experience when it comes to approaching women has left him trembling with nervousness.
So it’s refreshing for him to see the tables turned.
"Now that the tour is over, can you give the manager a call and see if the car is ready for the track?" Danny asks.
"Yes, I will get right to it. Give me a second," Kelly says and steps away to call the manager.
Seeing her leave, Danny approaches Adam. "Dude, that was eye-opening. I can’t believe she would let you get so close to her," Danny says.
"This is nothing. I expected this much, given that she was already attracted to me. People in general let their guard down around people they find attractive. The real test is whether I can interact with her.
Flirting is one thing, getting physically intimate is another," Adam says.
"I see... So what are you going to do now?" Danny asks.
Adam hears Danny’s question and looks at him for a few seconds. "I can take this further if you want," Adam says, giving Danny a false sense of control, even though Adam already knows Danny will continue with it. After all, he can see the curiosity in Danny’s eyes. He needs to see this thing go further.
"Why would I have a problem with it? I want to see how far you can take this with her," Danny says.
"Glad to hear that. Just wait and watch then," Adam says as he looks at Kelly, who is a few meters away from them taking to the manager on the phone.
A minute later, she comes back.
"It will still take some time, until then, why don’t I take you to the VIP lounge where you can rest and eat something if you want?" Kelly suggests.
"Sure, I am starving," Adam says before looking at Danny. "What about you?" He asks.
"Me too, haven’t eaten anything since morning," Danny says.
"Great! Kelly, please lead the way," Adam says.
Kelly nods her head and leads Adam and Danny to the VIP lounge for them to rest and eat.
Entering the lounge, Adam gets a view of the entire racing circuit through the massive glass walls.
Since this is the VIP lounge, the view from here is the best in the entire facility; one can see the whole track from up here.
Adam looks at the track and makes up a mental 3d module of it in his head, on which he imagines himself sitting in the car, driving through it. Every corner he needs to attack, every straight he needs to charge through, Adam self-visualizes himself doing it.
"This lounge is amazing," Adam says.
"It’s the best lounge in the facility. You get the entire view of the circuit, plus it has access to all the necessities one needs to enjoy a hassle-free experience," Kelly says as he shows off the entire lounge.
Just like she said, it’s a massive room with everything one can ask for.
"Please take a seat," Kelly says, guiding Danny and Adam to the best seats in the room, and then hands them a menu.
"We have some of the best chefs in the city working here. Anything you desire, we can get you," Kelly says.
Adam looks at the menu and sees all sorts of premium-sounding food items, but Adam’s loyal to the thing he likes.
"I will have your best burger then," Adam says.
"Me too," Danny replies immediately. He doesn’t even bother looking at the menu.
"Got it, I will inform the chef right away," Kelly says and is about to leave, but Adam stops her as he plans to take things further with her right in front of Danny.
