Chapter 435: FINAL WARNING

Chapter 435: FINAL WARNING

The final boss was riddled with holes, his shadowy form leaking dark essence like ink from a punctured vial.

This vulnerability came only because Aaron was toying with him, drawing out the fight for his own amusement amid the dim, echoing arena.

But with the female boss dead, her lifeless form sprawled in a pool of melting ice and fading shadows, Aaron realized it was time to wrap things up.

A sense of finality settled over him, sharpening his focus like a blade honed to perfection.

With Dragon Forge now returned to his hand, its weight familiar and reassuring in his grip, Aaron made a diagonal cross strike with his weapons.

The blades sliced through the air in a graceful arc, causing two deep slashes across the boss’s chest that glowed with residual energy.

The boss groaned in pain, a guttural sound echoing from the depths of his writhing shadows.

He tried to escape again, tendrils of darkness reaching out desperately to pull him into the void.

But Aaron wasn’t planning to give him the chance anymore, his expression hardening with resolve as he anticipated the move.

Willing it with a mere thought, the Black Sphere transformed into chains, links of void-forged metal materializing in an instant.

They wrapped tightly around the wrists of the boss, coiling like serpents and preventing any chances he had of escaping, the shadows straining futilely against the unbreakable bonds.

With a quick pull, Aaron dragged the boss toward himself, the chains rattling with tension as the creature slid across the scarred ground, resistance crumbling under the force.

And with his Excalibur ready, its radiant blade humming with pure, unyielding light, he drove the sword through the chest of the boss.

The strike pierced clean through, ending the life of the boss in a burst of dissipating shadows that faded like smoke in the wind.

Beep!

Aaron heard a sharp ring, the sound piercing the air like a digital chime, signaling that phase two was coming to an end with the death of the boss.

The arena’s atmosphere shifted, the tension easing as the simulation wound down.

His two ego weapons reverted to their original sphere forms, hovering briefly before settling into place with a soft glow.

The White Sphere transformed into a wristband, attaching itself to Aaron’s left hand with a seamless click, its surface smooth and cool against his skin like polished silver infused with starlight.

And the Black Sphere, doing the same, attached itself to Aaron’s right hand, a matching band that pulsed faintly with inner darkness, a comforting weight that promised power at his fingertips.

With the competition over, Aaron exited the battlefield all by himself, his steps echoing softly on the cracked terrain as he left the chaos behind.

"Well, the last phase wasn’t so bad," Aaron, arrogant as ever, said with a smug tilt to his voice.

He once more found his way toward the VIP area, the elevated platform overlooking the arena bathed in soft, artificial lights.

"There’s a reason I added the illusion weapon to the mix.

It was to prevent you from using your original weapons in the first place," Loki said to Aaron, his face twisted into one of mocked anguish, eyebrows furrowed in exaggerated disappointment.

"Well, I was just fighting illusions, and not real people. So you don’t have to worry about me killing people. Plus, I love the original more than your illusion fake," Aaron replied casually, his tone laced with dismissive confidence as he shrugged off the concern.

"Right. That’s the reason you had to destroy more constructs. But I must say, you have very dangerous divine weapons," Loki muttered, his eyes narrowing slightly in reluctant admiration, the words carrying a hint of caution.

"I’m aware. Well, guess this is all over, I will be taking my leave now. Off to get some sleep," Aaron muttered, yawning lazily with a stretch that emphasized his nonchalance.

He strode off the platform, his posture relaxed yet commanding.

"What gave you the right to leave?" One of the administrators asked Aaron coldly, his voice raised in an authoritative way that cut through the murmurs of the crowd.

The man’s stance was rigid, arms crossed over his chest.

Aaron paused, turning to face the administrator that dared to question him, his mystic eyes locking onto the figure with an intensity that made the air feel heavier.

"What’s your motive?" Aaron asked coldly, his words sharp and direct, catching the administrator by surprise and causing a flicker of uncertainty in his expression.

"What do you mean?" The administrator asked back snappily, flabbergasted by Aaron’s direct reply, his frown deepening as he tried to regain composure.

"You don’t care about etiquette. That’s not your motive. I can see the greed coming from you like a hungry shark," Aaron said calmly, his mystic eyes piercing through the facade to see the swirling emotions the administrator was emitting, a murky aura of avarice that tainted the air around him.

"I don’t know what you are talking about," the administrator denied, a frown etching deeper lines on his face, his denial laced with a hint of defensiveness.

"Do you really want to play games with me? The last time I saw you, you didn’t have this greed. Oh, I see. Now it all makes sense," Aaron muttered, a knowing smile creeping onto his face as realization dawned, illuminating his features with sly amusement.

"What all makes sense?" Nick asked, unable to follow up with the dialogue of Aaron and the administrator, his brow furrowed in confusion as he leaned in slightly.

"My weapons have caught your eyes and lit your greed. Not just you, but a whole lot of people here. Well, consider it a final warning. If you want to keep your lives, you will do so to not get on my bad side, or you might just wish you weren’t born," Aaron warned the administrator and everyone he felt the greed from coldly.

His voice carried a chilling edge, the threat hanging in the air like a storm cloud, his gaze sweeping over the assembled figures.

With the message made loud and clear, Aaron departed without a bother in the world, his steps light and unhurried as he vanished into the corridors beyond, leaving a tense silence in his wake.
