Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1595: Esports Tournament Part 22

Chapter 1595: Esports Tournament Part 22

"The healer in the back, can’t you stay hidden?"

"Why are you always killed before we DPS even get to go forward?"

"Just hide behind the rest of us. The opponents know you tend to rush forward to inflict burns on them."

One of the Ethereal team of four complained about their healer not doing their job properly.

They were part of the team that was going to participate in the battle royale as a squad, but chemistry had been terrible lately.

The communication breakdown ultimately lay in the fact that they lacked a proper commander or leader to make any shot-call.

"What do you mean I’m always killed?" The healer snapped. "I’m going forward? Do you think I want to go forward? The opponent Assassin is coming at my back, but none of you people wanted to defend me!"

"That’s the Tank job!" One of the DPS classes shifted the blame. "I’m responsible for going forward to kill the opponent’s support. The tank was supposed to peel for you, and not me."

"Shut up!" Sure enough, the tank was also infuriated. "Did you think it was easy to cover all four sides? You fuckers just run off on your own, so where am I supposed to stand anyway? The healer should have just stuck close to me instead."

Amidst their bantering and disagreement, a voice suddenly echoed.

"Right, the healer should just stick close to a tank. It’s not like they’re good enough to survive compared to our guild leader and honorary elder. The healer should have just stopped whining."

"I know, right." The tank nodded in agreement. But then they suddenly paused.

"Who just said that?" They raised their voice and asked. It was one thing for their teammates to talk smack amongst each other, but a whole different thing if someone else tried to smack talk either one of them.

"I did," Lightning Blade chuckled and waved hi at them.

"Intruders!" The Tank immediately shouted, but it was a little bit too late.

By the time he finished shouting that, Lightning Blade had already unsheathed his sword and killed the healer.

"You dare!" Enraged, the Tank immediately retrieved a signal flare.

Unfortunately, he didn’t even get to fire it when he was taunted by someone.

"Did I say you can do that?" Ardent Lance snickered coldly and thrust his lance forward.

The Tank was forced to use his shield to defend against the lance. The impact caused him to retreat three steps.

However, he wouldn’t get a chance to breathe properly when another person appeared from behind.

SHINK!

His armor durability dropped by a large margin under the penetration attack done by Dark Night. His Shadow Lord hidden class enabled him to inflict lethality, which bypassed whatever armor his opponent had.

To summarize, he was the tank’s worst nightmare because they wouldn’t be able to defend against many of his attacks.

The power of lethality was no joke!

"How dare you people trespass our training ground!" The remaining two DPS classes were infuriated and tried to assist their comrades.

"Who said you can move?" But they were unaware that Herald Fist had already snuck up behind them.

POW!

Using his hidden class, Hellfist, which converted his original Berserker class to apply to his hands alongside increased range, Herald Fist outright deleted the two squishy DPS. They were basically glass cannons. His one-punch attack directly shattered over 40% of their health.

And his attack was consecutive punches, which meant their health points went from 100 to 0 in less than 3 seconds.

Of course, it still took only one punch because of Xu Feng’s buff.

In the blink of an eye, this particular Ethereal Team was wiped out.

"Pfft, these people want to participate in the esports tournament?" Ardent Lance laughed coldly and spat at their corpse. "Bunch of trash still has the nerve to swagger around in front of us. They should call themselves Weak Guild members and not Super Guild members."

"Language, Lance." Herald Fist lightly chided. "Insults are used for humans, not for animals. People might dial the police for animal abuse."

"Ah, my mistake, Guild Leader." Ardent Lance gasped and quickly apologized. "I forgot they’re animals and not humans."

"Can the two of you not insult animals?" Lightning Blade suddenly interrupted. "Animals are cute, but this unreachable trash is waste that can only be disintegrated."

"You’ve got a point there!" Ardent Lance nodded and quickly corrected. "Unrecyclable trash really needs to be gotten rid of. They’re so useless to society and are only harmful."

"Y-You’ll pay for this..." The healer who had self-resurrected hissed and glared at them.

SLASH!

Once again, the healer was killed off in a single strike. Even though they had resurrected, they only retained 30% of their health points. They didn’t even get a chance to heal themselves before they got killed.

"I forgot about the healer being able to self-resurrect." Lightning Blade sheathed his sword and chuckled.

"Our Boss, Guild Leader, and Honorary Elder are so powerful that they can stay alive, unlike these squishy healers. It’s hard to remember that the majority of the healers are brainless."

Herald Fist and the others nodded their heads in agreement.

They had all seen clips and witnessed how they single-handedly destroyed all those who underestimated them.

"Enough with the bootlicking!" Xu Feng said nonchalantly. He was under the alias of Cool Wind, and the only one who could probably tell them to stop with the chattering.

"The others would soon be alarmed by their sudden death, so make haste. Kill as much as we can, and when their numbers are overwhelming, we’ll retreat immediately. We’re not here for an all-out brawl, but major disruption."

"Yes, Honorary Elder!"

"Roger that!"

In the blink of an eye, two more Ethereal Teams were wiped, and the Ethereal finally realized someone was killing their members.

"Who dares disrupt the Ethereal Training Ground!" One of the Guild Captains in charge of the current shift, Maxwell, shouted angrily.

Of all the times they could have chosen, they just had to choose the shift he was in charge of. If that wasn’t targeting, then what else?
