Chapter 1058: True Name

Chapter 1058: True Name

Kyle pushed his Core Spark into his Core, and as soon as he did that, he noticed a change.

He blinked a couple of times and ordered his Core Spark to return, but...

Nothing happened.

'It's gone?' he thought. 'Yeah, I actually can't feel it anymore. It's just gone!'

'That means I've also managed to fuse my Core Spark with everything else. Wonder if I can fuse my body now.'

Once more, Kyle ordered his body to enter his Core, and this time, it was different. As soon as the first organs entered the Core, Kyle felt his Core growing rapidly. This time, his body was not just overlapping with his Core but actually interacting with it!

Kyle kept pushing his body into his Core, and moments later, his entire body vanished, leaving his Core.

By now, his Core had grown to a size of a cubic meter, and the Energy flowing out of it was far denser than before.

Kyle was still fully conscious as he watched his Core shine brightly. As its brightness increased, the Energies in the surroundings fell into chaos.

BOOOOM!

It was like reality exploded as an unending current of Elemental Energies washed into Kyle's Core. The storm of Energy spread further and further, and within moments, all the Energy in the surrounding 256 million kilometers moved towards him.

Countless weak Elementals broke into pieces and turned into Elemental Energies as the pressure of the storm of Energy tore them apart.

Reality shook, and the powerful Elementals fled into the distance. Kyle's own Elemental would have also been annihilated if he hadn't isolated it from the storm of Energy.

His Core was absorbing an unreasonable amount of Energy, and yet, it wasn't growing. Instead, everything was being compressed, increasing the density of Energy.

In the Main Dimension, mountains collapsed, and rivers ran dry as the Elemental Energies in the Elemental Dimension became chaotic and distorted. The landscape for millions of kilometers was being mysteriously changed.

This was the effect of Kyle undergoing his Fusion.

If this had happened 10,000 years ago, this would have been a death sentence. There was no way that nobody would notice such a significant event. The leaders of the Demons would have believed that a new Ascendant had been born. After all, such a commotion only happened when Spirit Lords became Ascendants.

Based on the commotion's location, they would have noticed that it had happened on their side of the world, but they would have also realized that it hadn't been a Demon. After all, they wouldn't have been able to locate the advancing Demon. Eventually, they would realize that someone had advanced inside the Elemental Dimension.

Ironically, this would make the Demons drop the subject. After all, there were also some Elemental Demons. It had to be one of those.

Yet, what about these exact Elemental Demons? They would have noticed as well, and they would have investigated the surroundings. In the end, they would have found a random Elemental, and they would realize that something strange was happening.

Finally, powerful Elemental Demons would investigate Kyle, and he would be killed.

This was also the reason why Kyle had planned on going back to Humanity's territory to advance. If this commotion happened in Humanity's territory, the Demons would have just believed that another Ascendant had been born, which wasn't anything unusual.

Luckily, the world was mostly empty at this point. There were a couple of thousand Ascenders, but they were probably all still in the Wisdom Fire Realm. Due to the sheer size of the world, the chance that one of them was within the area was vanishingly low.

Lastly, the Overseer was busy experimenting on the World Wall right now. Freedom was so close! There was no way that the Overseer would care about what happened in her world. Maybe she would take a look every 50,000 years or so just to check up, but that would be it.

This was the first time anyone had undergone Fusion in Ayuvar in over a billion years. After all, Demons couldn't undergo Fusion, and humans hadn't been allowed to.

The storm raged for several minutes before it calmed down.

Kyle's Core stopped shining, and in the next moment, it changed its form. Arms and legs were growing out of it as it shrank. Its shape changed until it looked like Kyle's torso.

Finally, a head grew out of the Core.

Once more, Kyle's body reappeared, but his appearance had changed a bit.

His Imposing Laws no longer affected his existence, which meant his body had returned to its original appearance. Now, his appearance was basically identical to the appearance he had had as a Mortal.

He was tall, muscular, and had black hair that almost reached his shoulders. He only wore a torn pair of pants. There was no shirt, and there were no shoes. All in all, Kyle looked like a rugged and powerful barbarian from the wilds. This was not a common look amongst powerful Seekers. Most of the time, Seekers were clean and sharp.

At this moment, Kyle's eyes were closed as he focused on the world around him. He felt like he could see a new facet of reality, and this facet was telling him something.

A subtle desire rose in his heart.

'I am not someone,' Kyle thought. 'I have been reborn. I am still myself, but for the world, I am someone new. I am a blank sheet.'

'I need to become someone.'

Kyle realized what this represented.

This was the moment many people had told him about.

The moment in which he could redefine his existence.

Many powerful Seekers had said that knowing someone's true name would give one a lot of power over the other person. Yet, they had also said that it only became relevant in the Universe Realm. They had also said that a Seeker would get an opportunity to change their name once.

Undergoing Fusion represented graduation. Undergoing Fusion was one of the hardest mandatory requirements on one's path to power. It was like a final exam.

The Immortal Dimension was the most important Dimension in the entire Cosmos. Immortals, Lords, and Demigods contributed more than 90% to the Cosmos' Energy attraction. They were the reason why the Cosmos was growing instead of shrinking.

All the different Realms before the Universe Realm gave people ways to rectify their mistakes. All of their attributes had been tested several times, and the Seekers could learn more about their strengths and weaknesses.

Finally, after being allowed to make many mistakes without dire consequences, the Seekers would get one shot to reset everything.

'I would like to keep my original name. After all, it's been my name for my entire life,' Kyle thought. 'However, that's basically suicide.'

'You want to know who I am? Sure, I'll tell you.'

Kyle lifted his hammer. Both of his Imposing Laws activated, and he swung forward.

A moment later, Kyle felt the desire to define himself vanish. After all, he had done just that.

'A name doesn't need to consist of letters and words,' Kyle thought. 'There are many Kyles, but there's only one me.'

'The Energy of my two Imposing Laws is me. My Imposing Laws are my existence. They are me.'

Kyle put his hammer over his shoulder again with a smile.

'But you can call me Kyle.'
