Chapter 1110: It's Time

"No, you must wait for another 100 millennia," Swamp Dragon answered evenly.

The man in front of Swamp Dragon, the Head of Budding Forest, glared at him with frustration. "Silver Glacier will be done with creating his External Complex Law soon! When that happens, the Royal Water Sect will launch an all-out attack on us! If I don't finish my Fusion soon, we will be helpless! My Battle-Strength is greater than his, but I can't fight a Fulfilled Ascendant as a Major Ascendant, and you will be just as helpless!"

"Nothing will happen," Swamp Dragon answered. "Anyone who undergoes their Fusion will die."

"How do you know that?" the Head asked. "No one has undergone their Fusion before! How do you know that they will die?"

"Remember the world you've seen when you came here," Swamp Dragon answered. "The reason for that desolate world is still out there. Anyone who undergoes their Fusion will die."

The Head's expression became colder. He still remembered when Swamp Dragon had been stronger than him. However, that had been in the past.

Swamp Dragon could also undergo his Fusion, just like the Head. Yet, he didn't do so. He just remained in the Major Fusion Realm.

If the Head underwent his Fusion, he could advance two Levels. At that point, Swamp Dragon would no longer have any power over him.

Swamp Dragon's peaceful and reserved policies were severely hampering Budding Forest's growth. They were still the strongest Organization, but they could be even stronger. They could unite the world!

"Will you stop me if I decide to undergo my Fusion anyway?" the Head asked with a dark tone.

"You are free to do so, but not as a member of Budding Forest," Swamp Dragon answered calmly.

The Head thought about his options, and eventually, he made his decision.

He took out his Emblem and all of the authorities over the Formation Arrays and placed them on the table.

Then, he left without a word.

Swamp Dragon calmly accepted all of the objects. 'You've been blinded by greed and forgot about my teachings. Always stay calm and analyze the situation from all sides.'

'If you had been more attentive, you would've seen the hidden scheme.'

'You've been fooled by the Royal Water Sect. When was the last time Silver Glacier has shown himself? The Royal Water Sect says that he issues orders, but only the select few leaders around him seemed to have met him. Nobody else has seen him in a long time.'

'If they wanted to keep Silver Glacier's advancement secret, you wouldn't know about it. That's also why you didn't notice it when Silver Glacier underwent his Fusion around 50 years ago.'

'And now, the Royal Water Sect is suddenly announcing that Silver Glacier will soon undergo his Fusion. Your fear has blinded you to the truth.'

'The Royal Water Sect witnessed how their Sect Master died as soon as he started his Fusion. Fearing that the other powers would attack them, they made a big deal about his advancement, hoping that the elites of the other powers would also undergo their Fusion.'

Billions of kilometers away, the former Head of Budding Forest started the process of his Fusion. A tremendous storm of Energy gathered around him, and countless humans noticed the sudden change in Energy.

And then, a second later, everything returned to normal.

Nobody would see the former Head of Budding Forest again.

In the distance, the Overseer turned back to look at Red and Black.

Red and Black were fighting each other by swinging their hammers. Chaotic Elemental Energies burst out with every clash. These Elemental Energies came from the Immortal Elements, but they didn't feel complete. They lacked their special aura and unique abilities.

It was more than clear to the Overseer that Fierce Breaker didn't know any of the Level Seven Laws, but that was to be expected.

'Just 50,000 years left,' the Overseer thought.

The Overseer looked at Swamp Dragon. She could see that he could undergo his Fusion whenever he wanted, but she knew that he wouldn't do so.

As an Overseer, it was a great sin to kill someone who was becoming an Immortal. As soon as the advancement process started, the advancing Ascendant would be under special protection. That was why the Overseer had to stop Seekers before they could start the advancement process. The best opportunity was when they underwent their Fusion. Every Fusion caused an unmistakable storm of Energy, which the Overseer would notice.

Only one person was allowed to undergo their Fusion, and that was Fierce Breaker. Naturally, the Overseer knew that it would be dangerous to allow Fierce Breaker to stay in this Realm. After all, if he decided to advance, she would be forced to choose between two evils. Let him ascend or kill him at the risk of the world killing her?

The Overseer had already made her decision. If Fierce Breaker decided to advance, she would first kill everyone he knew before she would kill him. Maybe there was a way for her to survive the World's wrath.

By now, the Overseer was certain that Fierce Breaker wouldn't succeed. He had been trying to perfect his Imposing Law for 700,000 years. There was no way that he would find some sort of method to comprehend it within the last 50,000 years.

Yet, she had given her word, and she would keep to it. In 50,000 years, they would battle. Hopefully, the battle would put enough pressure on Fierce Breaker. With enough pressure, he might be able to push his Imposing Law to perfection.

If it still didn't work, she would force him to hand his life to the hammer.

If he refused, she would just torture and kill every person in the world until Fierce Breaker either ran out of longevity or caved in.

And if that also didn't work, she would slowly kill all of the Seekers who knew about the destruction of the previous iteration of Ayuvar. Then, she would wait for another group from the Supreme World and find some way to explain why this world hadn't birthed any Immortals in forever.

The Overseer looked at two powerful Elementals in the Elemental Dimension. These two Elementals were bound to two people in the Main Dimension.

Maybe the Overseer could do something with that. If she simply filled the Elemental Dimension with Elemental Demons that consumed the other Elementals, she could find an explanation as to why nobody had ascended in a long time.

She would get out, one way or another.

As the Overseer kept planning, more time passed.

One day, thousands of years later, the Overseer noticed a chaotic storm of Energy.

She calmly looked over, but as soon as she did, her eyes widened in shock.

It was Fierce Breaker!

Fierce Breaker was advancing!

Horror filled her heart as she thought that Fierce Breaker was becoming an Immortal.

But then, she noticed that the storm of Energy was very different. When someone became an Immortal, the commotion they caused was very different.

This just seemed like a regular advancement.

Yet, Fierce Breaker was already a Fulfilled Ascendant. He could only become an Immortal or a Unique Ascendant, and since this storm didn't have the signs of someone becoming an Immortal...

The Overseer almost couldn't believe it.

Fierce Breaker had done it?

He had perfected his Imposing Law?!

'Finally, it's time!' she thought.

'Finally, it's time!' Kyle thought.

Where did this storm of Energy come from?

Well, it came from Kyle's advancement.

Yet, he wasn't becoming a Unique Ascendant.

No, he was becoming a Legendary Ascendant.
