Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1209: Question Answered

Chapter 1209: Question Answered

Green could see how angry and devastated the Rock Turner Team was, and Kyle only felt satisfaction. 'Think I will feel bad for you? You guys wanted to kill us. This was your choice. You wanted to fight, and we fought back.'

Of course, Kyle could see that the team had been unified. Humans were very varied, and while this team belonged to a notorious Organization, they still had emotions. They loved, hated, laughed, and cried. Black and white rarely existed within humanity. Good and bad were in every person.

While Green looked at the Rock Turner Team, the other present teams looked at Team Ankylosaurus in shock.

Now, there were no doubts within them anymore. They finally knew why the Protector had talked to Kyle.

Kyle was just a newbie in the Immortal Dimension, but he already had four things that were exceptionally difficult to attain.

First, his insights into Formation Arrays were pretty solid. They didn't know if he already counted as a Beginner Immortal Formation Array Master, but his skills in Formation Arrays were already quite exceptional.

Real Formation Array Masters were so rare because an Immortal needed time, opportunities, talent, and resources to become one. None of the proper Formation Array Masters had been one when they had become Immortals. They all needed to spend countless years learning about Formation Arrays. Even powerful Organizations needed to invest a lot of resources and time into raising a proper Formation Array Master.

Yet, this guy was unaffiliated. His resources were severely limited, but he still reached such a high level. Either he was one of the most talented Formation Array Masters in existence...

Or he had once been a member of Inner World and escaped.

Second, Kyle had managed to create something that was quite hard for fresh Immortals to create.

A useful Soul Attack.

Immortals knew that they could attack the Spirit of other Immortals, but how could they do that? A Spirit was ethereal and hard to hit. How could they transition their attacks from physical to spiritual?

The Immortal Elements were the first Pure Laws that gave them this ability. The Immortal Elements worked on perception, and perception was part of the Spirit. By isolating the components related to perception from the Immortal Elements, they could create a Law that could attack someone's perception, and therefore, their Spirit.

However, this was only a part of the Immortal Elements. Simply using that part would weaken the attack by quite a bit since it wasn't possible to incorporate the other parts of the Laws.

Yet, Kyle had done just that. He had created a useful Soul Attack, and that was terrifying at their level. Lower Immortals barely had any experience in resisting Soul Attacks. They weren't entirely sure how to defend against those.

Third, Kyle knew a lot about Karmic Luck. He probably didn't know the Law of Karmic Causality, but the fact that the Soul Attack affected all of his target's Avatars meant that insights into the Laws of Karmic Luck had been incorporated into the attack. This was probably also the reason why his Soul Attacks were this strong to begin with.

Lastly, and most importantly, he had combined all three of his previous achievements into one. He knew a lot about Karmic Luck, created a strong Soul Attack, and to top it all off, he had created a Formation Array that could launch this Soul Attack. As long as he was within his Formation Arrays, and as long as he had Avatars to pull Energy from, he could launch a Soul Attack that could rival the power of an exceptionally powerful Law with the Energy Density of an Adept Immortal.

As long as he was within his fortress...

He could kill almost every Adept Immortal as a mere Beginner Immortal.

Kyle was someone who could jump a level very comfortably. He almost definitely wouldn't have the power to win against a Minor Immortal, but against Adept Immortals, he was almost invincible.

Every Higher Supreme Organization, except for the World Seekers, would try to recruit him desperately. With proper nurturing, he would almost definitely become a Lord, and with some luck, he might also have a shot at becoming a Demigod one day.

And yet, he was still unaffiliated, despite meeting the Protector. The Wargod's Peak had allowed him to stay unaffiliated.

But the Immortals could see that was the right decision. This fresh Immortal probably believed that he could advance by himself. Forcing him to join an Organization won't win his loyalty long term. The best way to get his loyalty was to show him that he needed a backer.

Most likely, the Protector wanted to show him the consequences of his actions. At some point, he would lose an Avatar, and that was when he would realize that he needed a backer. At that point, the Wargod's Peak could also recruit him with a lower offer.

A mixed feeling spread through the watching Immortals. Finally, they had clarity. They had gotten the answer to their question of whether or not it was okay to attack Kyle.

The answer was yes. If they killed one of his Avatars, they wouldn't anger the Wargod's Peak. In fact, they might even help them. However, killing a second or third Avatar would be risky.

Yet, the reason why their feelings were mixed was that it wasn't easy to attack him. This guy was genuinely dangerous. On Excursions, these Immortals only needed to fear the loss of an Avatar, but if they attacked Kyle or Team Ankylosaurus...

They might die.

However, Kyle wasn't the only surprising member of Team Ankylosaurus. The Immortals also noticed how powerful Sebastian's attack had been. His attack had been so powerful that it had killed an Adept Immortal. Sure, the Adept Immortal hadn't had a lot of Energy left, but that was still surprising. He might not have the power to jump a level, but he was getting very close.

The onlookers realized that Team Ankylosaurus couldn't be judged by their Realm. The team had an official power rating of Beginner Immortal. They had one Adept Immortal Avatar and three Beginner Immortal Avatars. Unfortunately, attacking this team would be like attacking a team with four Adept Immortals. They were just a Beginner Immortal Team, but they were already as powerful as a slightly above-average Adept Immortal Team.

Technically, every team could attack them without fear of retaliation, but it wasn't clear what effects this would have on their Karmic Luck. Killing rare geniuses often came with additional loss of Karmic Luck.

What was there to gain? They might die. Team Ankylosaurus didn't have a lot of valuables. They might lose more Karmic Luck. They might enrage a rare genius.

So, while they could attack Team Ankylosaurus...

The risks outweighed the gains. There were easier ways to get Energy Stones.

Most of the teams decided to retreat.

"The Flower Bloom Team is willing to sign a non-aggression pact," an Adept Immortal Team transmitted to Kyle.

"The Jumping Rabbit Team is willing to sign a non-aggression pact."

"Sure," Kyle transmitted back.

After speaking the non-aggression pact, the two teams left as well.

Now, there was only one team left around them.

"We're willing to support you for an equal share in the profits," the team transmitted. They had four Adept Immortals and one Beginner Immortal. "To be clear, this is not a veiled attempt to provoke a conflict."

Kyle furrowed his brows.

"What do you think?" he asked Abyssal Depths.

Abyssal Depths just looked at Red with a calm expression.

"You're the leader," she answered. She had spoken that sentence several times, but this time...

There was no hidden doubt in her voice.
