Chapter 1472: Father... Daughter Has Avenged You

"Bam!"

Soul Eater punched her in the face, smashing her against the tree on the side.

"..." Regina was enduring the pain, but she noticed something. She was supposed to be able to move the muscles on her cheek, but for some reason, they had stopped moving.

This was the infamous power of Soul Eater. The moment one didn’t have enough power to block his attack, piece by piece, the soul of that person would be eaten away.

Although Anubis claimed he could fix that kind of injury, it would only be after the battle was over. He needed to focus on his own battle since this assault would be unpredictable with the existence of the Godfather.

’This power is so scary... Your body and soul will be torn piece by piece. If you’re not careful, you will lose the function of your entire body while in agony.’

Vivian knew this power. She had been maintaining a certain distance and focusing on defense so that she could avoid this power.

And with that punch, Vivian found another opportunity.

"Blessing of the Forest."

A magic circle appeared beneath Soul Eater’s feet. Since the branches had pierced his body, his movement would be stopped for a moment.

So, this magic circle would release a tremendous amount of life force to the branches, trying to make them expand in his body so that he would experience the same thing as all his victims.

"!!!" Soul Eater broke free by throwing himself in one direction, using brute force to snap the branches. The wound became deeper, but he managed to escape.

Still, two branches managed to grow, causing additional wounds.

"You bitch." Soul Eater bit his lip. He used his own power to kill the branches and pull them out as the black cell would heal the damage to his body.

Since Regina hadn’t recovered yet, Soul Eater dashed to Vivian.

Vivian summoned multiple branches and roots to stop him, but Soul Eater didn’t care about his body anymore. All he wanted was to drag her down with him.

The branches managed to tear the arm that had been replaced by the black cell. It would take a bit more time for him to regenerate it, meaning there would be no arms for Soul Eater for at least a minute until the arm that Regina cut earlier regenerated.

However, thanks to his sacrifice, Soul Eater was able to reach Vivian.

"Tsk." Vivian created another wooden wall as a distraction, but this time, Soul Eater jumped straight at her, using his own head as a weapon.

Bam!

His head smashed the wooden wall and hit Vivian in the stomach.

"Gah!" Vivian spat out a mouthful of blood. His power was sucking her own soul, causing some organ damage.

She finally knew the kind of pain that her second father had to experience at that time. And more importantly, her father still remained calm as if he weren’t hurting.

She realized it was just his own way of not making her worry.

"Khh..." Tears were flowing out of her eyes, but Vivian managed to stand her ground. "Silvania!"

"Do it. I’m ready!" Silvania responded.

Even while enduring the pain, Vivian stopped his momentum and raised her wand before piercing Soul Eater’s abdomen with the sharp tip of the wand and planting it on the ground so that Soul Eater couldn’t move any further.

"You fool. I’m going to kill your familiar like that time!" Soul Eater laughed hysterically, directing all his power to the staff so that he would do irreparable damage to Silvania.

Vivian couldn’t recall what happened to her father. It was a brutal memory, but that was a mistake she wouldn’t make anymore.

Multiple magic circles soon formed around the staff, as Silvania had already prepared for this step.

She had heard about the details of the tragedy from Vivian, so she didn’t want to remind her of that nightmare.

Hence, these magic circles were boosting her own ena, causing an eruption that would counter his power for a few seconds.

"!!!" Soul Eater widened his eyes, noticing what she was trying to do.

"Ancient Blessing of the Dawn!"

Silvania activated her own power, causing the staff to shine brightly.

"Aaaahhhh!" Soul Eater felt like his body was being ripped apart from the inside. There were vines and branches that grew from within, piercing his organs and ripping his flesh apart. If this continued, he might become a human tree.

The only reason it succeeded was because of the few magic circles that flushed out enough energy to counter his power.

"You bastard!" Soul Eater focused all his energy on regrowing his arm this time. Thanks to that, he could reach Silvania. There was no way Silvania could withstand his power when they were directly linked to her.

However, Soul Eater forgot one person: Regina. All of a sudden, she appeared at his side and severed the arm. Although it would be good to sever his neck, she wanted Vivian to deal the finishing blow.

"You bitch!" Soul Eater was glaring at Regina.

Vivian was grateful for her consideration. She lifted her hand up. "Fusion. Off!"

Suddenly, Silvania turned back to her original form, located above him.

She aimed her own bow at Soul Eater, whose body dropped to the ground.

"Arrow of Schelnia." The arrow burst one more time, pinning him down to the ground.

"I’m going to kill you!" Soul Eater roared.

But without being able to move anymore, Vivian extended her hand and reached out for her head.

"You fool. You shouldn’t have touched me!"

Vivian could feel his ability as she gradually lost control of her hand, but her face remained resolute. This was the bad blood that had been plaguing her for years.

Just like how it started, she planned to end it the same way.

"Genesis Tree!"

"!!!" Soul Eater widened his eyes. She didn’t touch him to offer her own hand. She touched him so that she could activate the residual branches that Silvania had left behind in his body.

The moment she activated that power, the branches rapidly expanded, piercing through everything in their path.

The hole in his stomach started to form branches and roots as if a tree were forming inside him.

And because he directed his power to destroy her hand, he would react one step too late to redirect his power to drain the plant’s power.

Soul Eater’s eyes were soon filled with horror because he realized he would die in a similar way. "NOOOOOO!"

Unfortunately for him, it was already too late. The tree formed. It came out of his chest, his legs, and his arms.

His neck was straightened so that the trunk could grow and ultimately came out of his mouth. A few branches came out from his eyes and ears as leaves grew on them.

Soul Eater was ripped apart from the inside and finally became one with the tree.

When looking at this, Vivian couldn’t help but bite her lip as tears were involuntarily flowing out of her eyes. "Father... your daughter... has avenged you."
