Chapter 1745: Nathan’s Intention

Chapter 1745: Nathan’s Intention

Flora explained everything to him. It contained all the knowledge Nathan possessed from Earth.

Of course, he wasn’t exactly someone that knowledgeable, so Flora had to come up with the rest herself.

Unfortunately, Flora couldn’t think about it alone. She tried to improve it, but she would let the four leaders handle the details. They could refine it along the way.

King Julius, the Pope, and the two other kings understood the explanation from their respective representatives.

They never thought such a thing was possible. With the guarantee that the portal would work, they believed the embassy was needed before the portal worked.

That would also mean that they needed to guard the portal to ensure that no one infiltrated the continent.

Of course, Nathan had to talk about it with the dynasty and the empire in Erendtall and the three countries in Qion. They needed to dispatch their own soldiers to the portal first so that even the kingdoms from Gratzel couldn’t infiltrate them.

This was the fairness he didn’t intend to let go, even if they were his in-laws.

Once they understood the framework, Flora and the others continued with the explanation regarding the aliens.

They were dumbfounded to learn that such a powerful alien existed. It was simply terrifying.

No wonder they were told that this information could actually bring people to despair.

They weren’t fighting for victory. They were merely trying to survive. But with such an alien going to descend to this world, they knew it was hopeless.

Julius crossed his arms, pondering hard about the aliens. "I know now why cooperation between continents is necessary. If the situation is bad over there, we can send soldiers for help. Maybe not soldiers, but elites. It’s much easier to manage the elites rather than numerous soldiers because we can place elites among the soldiers as our spies..."

Nathan was also worried about it, but he thought it would end up like Earth. It was horrible, but it wouldn’t end the world... at least, not yet.

He thought it might create a world war or a cold war at one point, but this arrangement was necessary if he wanted the world to survive until he fought the black cell.

"Still, this is so unbelievable. An alien that strong... Well, if we look at history, it might truly exist. If not, we won’t have all this trouble to begin with..." King Julius sighed.

"In any case, you finally know why we intend to become gods and leave this world, right?"

King Julius scratched the back of his head. "I do. I never thought that you had been suffering from all this... I guess we old men are just unreliable."

"Please don’t say that."

"There is just one thing, though." King Julius scratched the back of his head. "People fear the unknown... something they can’t control. And you are someone like that. Your group is something like that."

"Are you worried that we might be expelled or exiled or feared?"

"Yes. I don’t intend to do that, but I don’t know about the others."

Flora shook her head. "I understand your concern, but it’s fine. We will do just fine. Besides, we have Nathan here. He’s good at coming up with something unexpected. Besides, all of us have our own role in the group."

King Julius couldn’t help but agree. They were never Nathan’s decorations. However, he thought that Nathan was the one making it possible.

Although all of them were talented, he didn’t expect they would reach this far. He was happy as a parent, but he had to be skeptical as a king.

Nathan was the key. If their greed took them away from Nathan, it would be the end of them.

King Julius raised two fingers. "I can agree to this proposal. I will create an embassy. Of course, that includes negotiating with the other three kingdoms. I will set up the meeting with them so you don’t have to worry about this matter anymore. We might not be that reliable, but we will do our best not to burden you more than you need to.

"We will also negotiate the defensive pact or even the technology transfer with other continents. However, we have two problems."

Flora’s expression turned solemn.

King Julius continued, "The first problem is language. We can’t exactly hold a conversation with them yet. I don’t even know how you are able to... it doesn’t seem like they’re talking the same language as us, right?"

"Regarding that problem, we have a temporary solution. The best solution is to learn their languages. However, we will give you a translator for the negotiation. During that time, please negotiate while also learning their language."

"You can do that?"

"Nathan can." Flora nodded. After receiving the knowledge about the sigil as well as the languages, Nathan could simply single out their languages and set up the sigil.

He would then give this sigil to a few people and infuse his time element into the sigil. This way, the sigil would automatically disappear after a certain period.

He thought this was the best arrangement. At least the translators wouldn’t be so arrogant and have to study the language as well. But as payment for their service, the sigil would give them an easier time learning their languages.

"Nathan will provide two people of your choice with the power to understand their language for 2 years. Within those two years, you have to study their languages. I think it’s possible, right?"

"Indeed." King Julius nodded. "I just never thought Nathan had such a wonderful thing."

"Well, he’s just magical. I have given up on getting surprised all the time." Flora sighed. "What about the second problem?"

"The second problem is the other continents. Have you told them about this matter so they know what to expect?"

Flora nodded. "We will tell them about it as well. As for their true intention, everyone needs to figure it out on their own."

It looked like they would know about the intention, but they didn’t necessarily need to follow the intention.

After all, Nathan couldn’t watch everything once he left this world.

This world’s problem had to be resolved by the people in this world.

Hence, King Julius nodded. "All right. I understand everything and I will do my best to get the best result."
