Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1809: New World

Chapter 1809: New World

"Then we will take our leave now." Nathan waved his hand. "Iris, take care of this world and catch up soon, understood?!"

"Yes, Master!" Iris nodded in excitement, holding the Soul Contract that indicated Nathan’s life.

"Vista, you have witnessed everything. You know which one you can speak about and which one you can’t speak about." Nathan turned to Vista.

"Vista, please return to my father for now. I don’t know if I will come back. A long time might have passed before I come back as well, so I can’t be the master of the Shadow Guards anymore," added Flora.

Vista politely bowed. "I shall fulfill your command."

Nathan then patted Gregory on the shoulder. "Gregory, continue to work on it for the next two to three years. We might end up going back to use it before fighting against a very strong alien. Once you’re done, you can handle the rest. There should be plenty of resources for you to use in my territory."

"It’s unfortunate that I can’t follow you, Master. However, I’ll make sure to do my best for you and your home, Master."

Nathan shifted to Koraxa. "Right now, you are the best retainer I have. Please take care of my home, Koraxa."

"Yes, Master. Just like how you intend to guard this world by fighting the beings outside this world, I shall protect your home so that you will always have a place to return."

Nathan met Koraxa for a brief period, but Koraxa had been doing his best for the family, so he could entrust him as the guardian of his family.

Luna placed her forehead against Crotto. "Uncle, I am going. It’ll be dangerous, but wish us luck."

"I believe you will win. Please return here. I will be looking forward to our reunion."

"Yes."

Since everyone had given their farewells, Nathan waved his hand. "All right. Everyone. We’re leaving."

"Shadow Guards! Salute!" Vista shouted and stomped the ground while putting his hand on his chest. All the Shadow Guards followed suit. "Seeing off the guardians of the world!"

They shouted in unison, "Seeing off the guardians of the world!"

Nathan smiled before he activated the teleportation ability, bringing them to the portal they intended to take to leave this world.

Nathan looked back for a few seconds. A lot of things happened in this world.

He could still remember the time he was summoned. He had been through a lot to reach this step.

There were countless life-and-death situations, but he managed to survive until the end.

This might be the end of his time in this world, but it was the beginning of his journey.

He hoped there would be a day for him to step back into this world with a smile on his face.

"Thank you, World. We’re off." Nathan smiled and entered the portal as the girls followed.

...

In the Land of the Dead, Bianca couldn’t help but look up as if she were thinking about something.

"What’s wrong, Biance?" Elysion asked, passing by.

Bianca was holding the letter from Nathan.

"To Bianca, I might be your master, but I am also not your master. There is something I’d like to tell you.

"I’d like to thank you for everything you’ve done in the past. You may not remember anything, but I, too, don’t remember it.

"You may think that this is your duty to protect this world, but I want to tell you that it’s fine to not protect this world. You’ve done more than enough.

"Besides, it’s only right for the adults to fight. So, please have some fun in this world. Love this world.

"That Nathan was proud of that Bianca. I couldn’t say the same thing to you, but I could say this. You are a great kid, so I believe you can make your parents proud. Even though we’re not master and disciple, I’m proud of you."

Bianca couldn’t help but wipe the tears from the corners of her eyes. "Nothing. Idiot, Master. Even though we don’t remember each other, I wish you could rely on me as well. I, too, wish to protect this world. If you ever come back, I will make you accept me as your disciple again."

Elysion smiled. He also received a letter from Nathan.

"To Elysion, I am not the disciple you have in mind, but I greatly appreciate your care. I may not be able to give you the respect like one coming from a disciple to his master, but allow me to give you the respect as my elder.

"I don’t know the outcome of this battle, but I don’t want to give up easily. Please protect this world. Please take care of Bianca.

"I have nothing to offer you, but I am able to leave this world at ease because I know you’re protecting this world."

Elysion shook his head helplessly. "What a troublesome kid. Well, enough with the letters. Should we focus on our training? We might end up facing a divine being in this world, so let’s train hard, shall we?"

"Yes!" Bianca nodded with a big smile on her face.

...

Nathan and the others entered the portal. Their visions turned dark immediately.

"Where are we?" The girls looked around. There was hardly any light.

"According to Crotto, this planet is locked to face the sun. The other half of the planet is completely dark. This is perfect for us if we want to find another portal on this planet because half of the planet has been eliminated. The portal can’t be stable if it’s burned by the sun," explained Luna.

"Well, we just have to look in the darkness. Find any aliens and check their trails like you are following an ant colony’s trail. We will find the next portal. But for now, let’s split into pairs." Nathan waved his hand. "The team leaders will be me, Selena, Flora, Evelyn, and Luna."

"I’m claiming this spot!" Sera leaped toward Nathan and hugged his arm.

Nathan smiled wryly. "Sorry, but you’re one step too late."

"What?" Sera widened her eyes. She used her light to see what was going on. It turned out Alavenya, who was standing next to him, had already held his hand.

Alavenya just looked away, feeling embarrassed for moving so fast.

"Eh?!" Sera wanted to complain, but Luna grabbed the back of her shirt. "That means you’re with me."

"I’m with you." Bella winked at Evelyn.

Noelle obviously went to Flora, so that left Vivian with Selena.

"Let’s split up. You can look around for a bit, but let’s meet again in five hours."

"Ohh! Let’s go to outer space again and see this plan—" Sera was excited to see the planet and the solar system in this place, but she abruptly stopped when she felt an intense heat coming.

"!!!" All of them widened their eyes. There was a wave of intense heat coming toward them.

Sera looked down and gave some light to the ground, only to find it pitch black. "We’re not standing on soil. We’re standing on charred rock!"

Nathan’s eyebrows twitched. "I heard there could be a lot of weird things on other planets, such as diamond rain, a normal wave as tall as hundreds of meters if not kilometers, or even horizontal rain. This time, it’s a heatwave sweeping the entire world?"
