Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1831: The Third Alien?

Chapter 1831: The Third Alien?

"I can’t exactly read any of these." Hina tilted her head in confusion.

"Don’t worry about that. Give me your hand."

Hina didn’t understand what was going on. She extended her hand, and Nathan tapped the back of her hand lightly. A sigil formed, allowing her to read what was written inside.

"This is... I can actually read it now." Hina looked surprised.

"That sigil contains my language, so you can read it. It’s effective for two weeks. After that, it will be gone."

"I see. Well..." Hina skimmed all of them before saying, "I think I can somehow make it. I need to look at them a bit more, but I think it’s possible. When do you need it?"

"As soon as possible. How long do you need to build it?"

"I can only give you a rough estimate. Around seven to ten days... maybe."

"That’s fine."

"I will have to go back then. I need to set up the framework before the Great Mist arrives."

Thuka was a bit surprised by the fact that Nathan could allow them to understand his language.

He doubted Nathan would be willing to give this kind of ability to them. After all, the ability to understand the native language meant the ability to infiltrate other worlds without being detected.

So, he didn’t say anything about this ability. Instead, he asked, "When are you going to defeat these aliens?"

Nathan smiled. He had already made a decision.

...

"In seven days?" Flora looked surprised. "Shouldn’t we just kill them now? This way, Nathan could also participate."

Evelyn shook her head. "No, he’s probably going to alter the situation with his luck this time around."

"That’s correct." Nathan nodded with a smile. As expected, several of them understood the plan.

Selena crossed her arms while contemplating. She explained the plan, "We know that something bad is going to happen when we deal with something big. This one is big. That’s why we need to prepare for it.

"If we fight these two aliens right now, something big will happen soon, but once the Great Mist comes, it will turn even worse.

"To avoid this kind of scenario, it’s best to deal with them all at once. In other words, we will fight these two aliens once the Great Mist arrives. So, what worse can happen? Another alien of this level entering this world.

"And at that time, we will ambush it. Rather than creating an unknown situation due to Nathan’s luck, it’s better if we control it and know what’s about to come."

Selena understood perfectly. As they always did, they wanted to control the bad side of Nathan’s luck. And the timing of this attack was the key to controlling it.

"Hence, I will split the group into two. The first group will be Evelyn, Bella, Noelle, and Flora. Evelyn will lead the group, and your objective is to kill the alien with the sword."

They agreed, but they were slightly confused about this arrangement.

Nathan continued, "Selena, Luna, Sera, Vivian, and Alavenya will fight against the other one. Selena will lead this group, so make sure to follow the leaders’ orders."

"You’re not going?" Sera asked.

"Of course not. He’s going to stay in this world to wait for the situation to get worse. In other words, he’s going to take on the third alien by himself." Selena sighed. "I guess that’s the advantage of having many familiars."

"Well, the starfish monster is going to be hard to deal with. That’s why I split the group this way." Nathan smiled wryly.

"I know that." Selena nodded. "In that case, we will just have to deal with the aliens."

"Should I put a teleportation circle here?" Evelyn asked. "I know that you don’t want to create a teleportation circle back, but shouldn’t we create one here and erase it later?"

Nathan didn’t want to link up this world and the others back to his world. If they lost, other people or the aliens might be able to use those teleportation circles to reach his world.

On the other hand, if they won, the portals would be destroyed since Yog-Sothoth couldn’t maintain them anymore. As a result, they might not be able to return to their world.

Then again, at that level, they should have grown strong enough to trace back their home planet and return.

That was why he chose to avoid creating teleportation circles.

"Hmm... If it’s just for this, it should be fine." Nathan nodded. "Just for you guys to return from nearby planets."

"Of course." Evelyn nodded, reassuring him.

"Very well. In that case, meeting adjourned." Nathan waved his hand.

"By the way, what about Misty Frost? How is she?" Selena asked casually, but it rang like a devil’s anger in his ears.

Nathan froze and said, "Don’t worry."

"I’m not worried. I don’t understand why you think I’m worried... Have you done something that might cause me to worry?" Selena narrowed her eyes.

"O-Of course not." Nathan raised both hands. "I’m a very loyal man. I won’t do anything that will destroy this family."

"I know that. I’m just messing with you." Selena chuckled.

"..." Nathan looked away.

"I’m joking. Do I not look like I’m joking?" Selena patted Nathan’s shoulder while laughing. However, a few pats later, she suddenly grabbed his shoulder hard while staring daggers at her. "Do you think I will say that?"

Nathan’s eyebrows twitched.

"Hahaha. You’re tensing up again. I’m kidding. I completely trust you."

"This girl..." Nathan suddenly lifted her up and said, "At this rate, I might end up having a heart attack first before even fighting the alien. It seems that I will need to punish you first before handling anything else."

Without hesitation, he brought Selena away, leaving the rest of the women dumbfounded.

"That works too?"

"Only Selena would ever do that."

"Well, I think it’s better for us to handle the planning."

"Right? Let’s do that."

They continued their preparation for the upcoming fight. The girls focused on the two aliens, while Nathan and Vivian occasionally visited Misty Frost to discuss the research.

Finally, seven days passed, and the Great Mist finally arrived.
