Nathan and Flora traveled for some time, trying to figure out the source of the freezing temperature on this planet. But searching for an opening in the entire world was extremely challenging.

He cracked it open and changed the form of his power to drill a big hole in the ground.

"Death energy?" Nathan turned his head to Xolotl, not expecting something like death energy in a place like this.

"I am talking about the dead. Most likely, someone died here."

"!!!" Nathan raised his eyebrows.

"I am awake now." Flora abruptly stopped reinforcing her Spirit Circle.

Nathan’s expression turned solemn. "Let’s check it out."

"I’m going to stay here. Those who are small enough should go in. I’m afraid there is a cave inside." Ananta nodded.

"I will go in." Garuda turned to Xolotl.

"Of course." Xolotl smiled. "I’m quite curious about the kind of being that died here. This world doesn’t look like a place for the living, so it might be a divine being that happened to reach this place."

Nathan covered himself with his energy before jumping into the hole. Flora, Mae, Xolotl, and Garuda followed suit.

As Ananta said, there was a cave located a hundred meters underneath the ice. The freezing energy was actually much more powerful in this place.

"Hmm?" Nathan looked around. There was nothing but ice as far as he could see.

"There is a tunnel." Flora narrowed her eyes.

"Nothing is wrong with this space. Most likely, it’s a place that person entered, but there are no other traces. That room is probably the place he died. Should we activate the Memory of the Dead?"

"Will it still work?"

Xolotl narrowed his eyes. "It should be. The freezing energy here is powerful, but my power is more powerful than it."

Nathan nodded. "Sure. Let’s go and see what’s inside first."

They carefully walked into the tunnel. There was no light, so Flora used her element to brighten the room.

The tunnel led them to another room. The ice element in this room was much more potent.

"Kh..." Nathan clicked his tongue. "The freezing energy is too powerful."

"I know, right?" Xolotl agreed. "Fortunately, we’ve got that guy there. As expected, this kind of temperature is not normal."

On the opposite side of the room, Nathan saw a skeleton. The base appearance looked like a human, but there were bones all around his arms and mouth as though he were looking at spikes or tusks.

"That’s weird. The ice didn’t preserve his corpse?" Nathan frowned. He thought that in a place like this, he would definitely find an intact corpse.

"Or he might be a skeleton in the first place." Xolotl extended his hand to Nathan. "I need the Memory of the Dead."

Nathan took it out and gave it to him.

"Give me a few seconds." Xolotl closed his eyes. Since there was only one person here, it wasn’t hard to recreate the image. "Mae."

"Got it." Mae snapped her fingers, activating her illusion.

"Haa... Ha...!" They heard a voice inside this place. Nathan and the others turned to the tunnel, finding a humanoid creature.

The man had the head of an elephant and the body of a human. He was wearing a cream shirt with long blue pants. He was covering himself with his long coat, but it didn’t seem that he was freezing.

"Hmm?" Nathan squinted, feeling suspicious.

The man was severely injured. Green blood covered his body, and different kinds of wounds covered it. He could see stab wounds, slash wounds, or even burn wounds.

"To think this place isn’t even enough to let me, Lord Frost, recover. It looks like this world really wants me to die."
