Fenrir and the others couldn’t help but smirk. This was the first time they went on a rampage, especially in a spaceship.
"I never thought that a human could be this advanced." Fenrir smirked. He gathered his power in his mouth and blasted the wall with Pure Force.
Bang!
"It’s useless. You won’t be able to escape from that place!" General Kgakga shouted, having full confidence in his spaceship’s durability.
To his surprise, he soon heard a crack, followed by a rumbling sound as though something had just collapsed.
"!!!" General Kgakga dropped his jaw. "What?!"
Fenrir had just destroyed the wall.
"This wall is quite hard. If you want to destroy it, you better use your divinity. It looks like mortals will have trouble destroying it."
Mae agreed. "No wonder they were so confident. They might have made that prison as well. Don’t underestimate them."
"I got it." Fenrir grinned. "In that case, I will tear it apart. For now, don’t kill anyone, right?"
"Try not to kill, but most of them are cyborgs, so I’m not exactly sure." Mae shook her head.
Nathan’s expression turned solemn. He was wondering what he should do. On the one hand, he didn’t want to make enemies unless it was necessary. On the other hand, the other party was the first one to try to trick him.
Nathan said, "Don’t kill them even if they’re cyborgs. Capture them if necessary. For now, wreak havoc in here, but don’t go overboard. There is a chance that it will lead to a much bigger confrontation."
"Got it. Let’s go, Qilin. I’ll lead!" Fenrir harrumphed and entered.
"I’m going as well." Nidhogg let out a breath of fire.
"Same." Jinwu was shooting a sun beam.
"That one might be lucky, but none of you will be lucky enough to melt the spaceship. It can even withstand the sun." General Kgakga tried to deny it, but doubts started to creep into his voice.
As expected, the chaos energy caused the particles in the metal to be unstable and melt it.
"It can withstand the sun? Why are you so proud about it?" Jinwu harrumphed and melted it with his own sun beam.
"You’re just competitive. Do you feel insulted that he claimed to be able to contain you?" Anubis chuckled.
"Hmph. There are two different suns. The first sun is like me, who has divinity. The other sun is just a source of free energy." Jinwu flew to another corridor. "Follow me."
Anubis followed Jinwu, while Nidhogg stayed. "This is simply too small for me. I really can’t pass through the corridor. I think I should just stay here."
Nathan chuckled. "In that case, you can go outside and regroup with the others."
"Got it." Nidhogg melted the door and came out of the spaceship, waiting with Tiamat, Ananta, Abzu, and Orochi. The only familiar he had yet to summon was Kun, considering Kun could be his trump card for this kind of battle.
Nathan turned to Xolotl and Garuda. "You two are not going?"
"I’m thinking whether I should go alone or with him." Xolotl pointed at Garuda.
Garuda shook his head. "At a time like this, I’m betting this guy has reinforcements. You can play around here, but it’s better to fight outside."
"In that case, I will not go in as well." Xolotl agreed.
Nathan nodded. "Sure. Take care. Also, where is Selena and the others?"
"Don’t ask me."
"Fair enough. In that case, Mae, let’s go."
"Sure." Mae nodded with a serious expression.
General Kgakga panicked. He had never seen anyone like this.
Nathan changed his approach. He had held back earlier, but since the divine beasts had confirmed that they were like the strongest metal for mortals, Nathan applied his divinity this time.
When he snapped his fingers, the space distorted and twisted the metal door, blasting it open as it failed to withstand the distortion.
"Oh, well, it broke." Nathan smiled.
General Kgakga’s face turned pale. He was confident earlier because Nathan did his best and failed to destroy the metal door, but this time, Nathan actually destroyed it effortlessly.
It turned out Nathan had been holding back the whole time. At this rate, Nathan might destroy the spaceship entirely.
"Should we grab him, Master? But I’m not exactly sure whether my illusion will work or not. The best method is that since he has yet to be a full robot, he should still have a soul. We can kill him and ask Anubis to use his power to extract his soul. Then, I will use my power to hypnotize him. We can get our information this way."
"Can’t you hypnotize him?"
"I tried on one of the cyborgs earlier. I couldn’t. The brain was that of a human, but its consciousness was being interfered with by something else. When I hypnotized that guy, he fell for a second and shut his mouth."
"..." Nathan’s expression turned solemn. "Interesting. So, I guess technologies can defeat us..."
"Not exactly. Looking at the technologies here, they can probably defeat mortals. This kind of spaceship is similar to a person with divine rules. They are stronger than mortals, but have yet to reach the threshold."
Nathan crossed his arms. "Yeah, but do you think this is really their strongest?"
"Absolutely not. The planet they used to create that prison, it’s amazing. I guess technology can do something that we can’t." Mae nodded. "At least we have to acknowledge that fact."
"Indeed." Nathan nodded in understanding. "We will have to be careful against them."
"I know."
"For now, don’t kill him. Looking at the situation, he must be calling for reinforcements."
"Yeah. Judging from his face, he’s panicking, but not in despair. That means he has a trump card, and that’s probably the reinforcement." Mae agreed.
"Maybe I should have made the Soul Contract for messaging before coming to this world."
"Well, our original plan was just to stick in this world, which shouldn’t have any living beings..."
