Chapter 1862: Reinforcements

"We are about to arrive. General Kgakga has just sent out a distress message after trying to search for the trespassers. It looks like the trespassers are working with that being. We will now intercept them and strike them down. All of you get ready!"

A middle-aged man ordered. He looked at the screen, which showed the huge spaceship in the distance.

"Sir! Please take a look at this!" One of the crews reported, amplifying the picture. "There are weird things on top of the spaceship."

"!!!" The middle-aged man widened his eyes.

"General Farboush, they look like beasts in the legend. Shall we engage them?"

"It’s too close to General Kgakga’s ship. If we attack, the spaceship might also get taken down." General Farboush frowned, wondering what he should do.

He still couldn’t allow them to do whatever they wanted.

So, General Farboush ordered, "Get ready for battle. Send out rescue ships and our battleships."

"Roger!"

Smaller ships emerged from the spaceship, approaching their target quicker.

"Are you guys seeing this?" Xolotl smirked. "This might get a bit interesting."

"Don’t fight too much. That’s what you’ve promised to the summoner." Tiamat shook her head helplessly. "We are not here to engage in a war with another species. If we can somehow turn this into a simple misunderstanding, that’s for the better."

"What if we can’t?" Garuda asked.

Tiamat’s voice turned cold. "Of course, we will kill them all so that they won’t think about revenge. Still, the fact that the girls haven’t even felt something like this..."

"Are you suspecting something? Are they being captured?"

"No. They’re either away from this solar system or something else." Tiamat frowned.

Ananta spoke. "I looked at the possibilities in the past. There were possibilities of them reporting. The enemy’s colony might not be that far from here. You might not be able to see it clearly, but the sun over there..."

"What about it?"

"If you take a look, you will notice the black shades. The sun here might be half-covered."

"Ah! Is this what our summoner said about the Dyson Sphere or something?" Xolotl crossed his arms.

"Most likely. From what they’ve shown us, they’re capable of creating the ultimate mortal weapons. But mortals are mortals. There is a big difference between mortal and divine beings." Ananta turned to the sun. "I’m afraid that this colony might have conquered its own star and the surrounding stars. But that’s all. They have yet to go one step further."

Xolotl crossed his arms. "In that case, should we just crush them? We can talk after that. Do they know fear?"

"I’m not sure. We should probably try to talk to them. Maybe, just threaten them." Tiamat nodded.

Abzu paused for a moment. "In that case, should we fly over there?"

"We can’t. We can’t be too far from our summoner. That’s why he’s searching for methods so that we can fully rebirth."

Garuda sighed. "Don’t attack first. That’s the first thing you need. Besides, at a time like this, shouldn’t we record it? They should have a way to do it, right?"

"For what?"

"Evidence. My lord told us about it. In his world, record everything first for evidence. You could do self-defense later, but as long as you had a recording, you could prove that you weren’t the one in the wrong."

"But does anyone know how to do it?" Xolotl asked. "I can try to grab some humans inside, but I don’t know how to do it."

Garuda narrowed his eyes. "Even when fighting the aliens, I never encountered a situation like this. There were no humans that could fight like this. Still, since mortal weapons are that strong, have they eliminated all aliens on their planet?"

"That’s a very good question. Right now, aren’t we supposed to be threatened by the aliens?" Xolotl nodded in agreement.

"They should be able to capture the alien that entered the frozen planet, right? Then, they would research them and figure out what they were capable of..." Even Tiamat couldn’t help but agree with them.

If the humans could do all that, they might be useful against the aliens.

They could eliminate the numerous aliens in their path, while Nathan’s group focused on the strong ones.

"Interesting." Xolotl crossed his arms.

"In that case, just attack the smaller ones without using too much power. If they survive, they survive. Don’t pursue too much. Instead, lure them here and intercept them directly. This way, we might be able to attempt communication with them." Abzu suggested.

"We don’t understand their language."

"I’m talking about our summoner. He will be the one handling the negotiation, but first, we will have to hold here until he returns with that idiot. We will exchange the prisoner for information or something and show that we’re not intending to have a war with them."

"Well, destroying this spaceship and so on isn’t exactly convincing."

"It’s their fault for tricking us." Abzu shrugged.

Garuda nodded. "In that case, let’s pretend that we can’t see them or anything."

They agreed and started playing dumb.

Meanwhile, Ananta kept looking through the numerous possibilities. Nathan must be worried about his wives. None of them had returned to the planet. Even the group that was supposed to search for other portals on the frozen planet failed to come.

So, there might be something going on.

"This is really confusing." Ananta sighed. Even he couldn’t figure out what happened to Selena and the others.

"In that case, we can only wait until we know the situation or have the chance to go around this solar system. Mae is with him, so illusion should work, right? It’s perfect for interrogation."

Just like the other expects, Nathan broke through one corridor after another, making his way toward General Kgakga. Even though this place was huge, Nathan didn’t feel like he was losing his way.

He already knew where General Kgakga was after scanning the ship. There were only a few spots where they gathered the people, and Nathan could imagine the kind of place they were based on how many people were in there.

Nathan only needed to go to the cockpit.

And finally, he reached it.

Bang!

Nathan entered the room and smiled. "A good view. Yep, this is definitely the cockpit."
