Chapter 1939: Going to the Battlefield
Chapter 1939: Going to the Battlefield
Nathan finished all the discussions and trades with Catalith. Before leaving the planet, Nathan checked on Machina first since she was also making the microscope.
"Hoho. This is interesting. To think there is something like this." Catalith looked surprised, seeing things that were so small that even a goddess like her couldn’t see without any tools.
On the other hand, Nathan was checking on Machina’s condition.
"How are you feeling?" Nathan asked, sensing that Machina had at least absorbed a few cores.
"I am feeling great right now, Master. Having energy in my body is surely an unfamiliar feeling, but I might be able to use this energy to supply my own energy usage."
"Really?"
"Yes. For example, if my electricity is gone, I can use this energy as a supplement. This body is not using the fusion or fission reaction for its power. Instead, it’s using solar energy. Normally, the energy from the fusion will be better, but I think this is just perfect.
"Not only can I use the solar energy more conveniently by bringing the sphere around, but I can also move more independently without worrying about materials."
"I see." Nathan nodded in understanding. "Then, about your ena..."
"This ena will provide additional energy whenever I need it. Or maybe I will be able to do more after I get to know more about this ena."
Nathan explained, "You need to first set up your foundation. Although your body is that of a machine and it won’t have any problems withstanding millions of ena at once, it will be good to have adjusted everything from the beginning.
"First, you need to absorb a few hundred ena and start coating your components with it. Once it’s done, you will absorb thousands of ena and repeat the same thing.
"Just keep doing it until you reach tens of millions of ena. I’m pretty sure that your components, or more specifically the materials of your components, will evolve into magical metals that are stronger than the original materials.
"Then, you will begin with the divinity process and probably become a true God of the Machine." Nathan smiled.
Machina had understood all this since the others were willing to explain it before.
"We will try to increase your karma as much as possible, but if that’s not enough, I will use my own karma to create your divine body."
"Whoa... I’m so jealous. You’re going to give up so much karma to build her divine body? You usually need to build up karma for a few hundred years to build a divine body. Some good ones like me only need a few more hundred years to create a true vessel, but most of the time, it will take thousands of years to create true vessels and become a god like me." Catalith suddenly interjected.
"Are you done with the inspection?" Nathan shook his head helplessly.
Machina didn’t know why, but she couldn’t help smiling. Normally, an android wouldn’t smile because it wasn’t supposed to have emotions. They could only understand emotions through programs, not the feeling.
Ever since Nathan used that Soul Contract to make her a true living being, she felt something more than just ena.
Although the muscles on her face were extremely stiff and she could only let out a small smile, it was still something that was new to a machine like her.
Machina understood Nathan’s care and appreciated him. In the end, it was the right decision to follow Nathan.
"I’m done. We will be able to leave right away." Catalith nodded.
"All right." Nathan waved his hand. "Let’s call everyone. Are we going straight to the battlefield?"
"Yes. We will have you register first so that no one will attack you."
"Got it."
Machina informed everyone that they were going to leave. As soon as they gathered, Catalith led them to another portal that directly sent them to outer space.
Catalith pointed to the right. "All right. The battlefield should be in that direction. Normally, we would use a portal, but because we have a few strong ones here, we have no choice but to fly directly. It should take about fifteen days."
"No need. We can use a portal. I can strengthen the portal enough for all of us to go through." Nathan waved his hand, treating it as if it wasn’t a big deal.
"What? You can?"
"Yeah. My power can do it."
"I see. In that case, let’s go to the portal." Catalith nodded.
"Ah, before that... please wait a second." Nathan raised his hand, gesturing for her to stop. Nathan looked back a few seconds later, Flora and Noelle arrived.
"Two more..." Catalith was startled, not expecting another two saints hiding in her world.
"My apologies. I can trust you to a certain extent, but I don’t trust this world yet. Let me formally introduce them. These two are Flora and Noelle. They’re both my wives."
"Well, you had mentioned wives, so I should have expected this." Catalith shook her head helplessly.
"Thanks for the understanding. Shall we?"
"I’m just checking, but is this it? There is no one still hiding in my world?"
"No. We will go back here later to set up the satellites so that we can stay connected, but that’s it." Nathan shook his head.
"Why do I get the feeling that this is not everyone?"
Nathan didn’t say anything else, but Catalith’s instinct was extremely sharp. She knew it wasn’t everyone in the group, but she wasn’t sharp enough to know that the rest was actually in another place.
Nevertheless, Catalith led them to a portal on a nearby planet. As soon as he saw the portal, Nathan immediately channeled his power into it.
Catalith was impressed. "Normally, we would have to waste precious material to transmute the gate until it is strong enough to withstand our presence, but you are basically using your own power that can be regenerated at any time to strengthen the portal. I’m quite jealous."
"Ahahaha." Nathan let out a hollow laugh.
Catalith shook her head helplessly and went to the portal first, as the others followed.
"And here we go. This is the battlefield."
