Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1940: The Ogre God

Chapter 1940: The Ogre God

"This is the battlefield." Catalith introduced the new place after going through the portal and flying to outer space.

However, there didn’t seem to be any change on the battlefield. It looked normal other than the fact that there were more suns and planets around them.

"Can I check something?" Nathan asked.

"Sure."

Nathan nodded to Machina, gesturing for her to take out the satellites.

Machina surprised Catalith by taking out an enormous device that floated freely in outer space.

After taking out three of them, Machina connected herself to them.

"Connection."

"Stand by."

"Loading complete."

"Scanning."

"Planet A has a burst of weak energy. It is currently inhabited. The number is unknown. Planet B is completely empty. Planet C has a higher amount of energy. Planet D..."

Machina scanned all nearby planets, as she gave the result while pointing to each planet.

Catalith was dumbfounded. Machina actually assessed the situation very accurately. The amount of energy was usually reflected in the number of people inside.

The higher the number, the higher the power clashing on this planet. It meant more and more high-level aliens in there.

Catalith dropped her jaw before asking, "You can see all that? How?"

"I can do more with enough power and tools. In fact, monitoring the battlefield live is possible, not to mention creating a defense system that will kill all aliens that haven’t gotten their divinity. As long as they couldn’t come to outer space, they would be dead."

Catalith was completely stunned. This was the first time she had witnessed someone as powerful as Machina, even though she didn’t possess a divinity.

There was a reason Nathan chose to spend all that karma for Machina.

"If you can do all that, doesn’t that mean you can create a farm for aliens? I mean, farming their cores?"

"That is possible." Machina nodded casually.

The defense system would take care of everything, and they would only need some help retrieving the cores.

The defense system would be built with the sun as its foundation. With the endless energy coming from the sun, they could continuously get enough energy to discharge a powerful plasma beam and kill all the aliens.

However, high-level aliens would be able to leave the planet and destroy these weapons, so she said she could handle everything without divinity. The empire had proven that point when they clashed with Nathan.

Nathan just smiled before saying, "Sorry, but we don’t trade that... yet... maybe."

"When you do, you definitely have to call me. I told you there are a few battlefields, right? I want to monitor all the other battlefields that are directly linked to my planet and set up such a defense system." Catalith sighed, feeling envious of Nathan.

"Anyway, what should we do now?" Nathan asked. "Machina is done with the scan, so should we join the battle?"

"Not yet." Catalith waved her hand, gesturing for them to follow her.

They went to a nearby planet. The planet looked orange from space. Once they entered, it turned out the planet was covered in orange sand, making Nathan remember Mars.

Catalith led them to a different side of the planet. Nathan and the others could feel another terrifying presence, similar to Catalith’s.

They raised their guards, not knowing what was coming.

Suddenly, a dot flew into the sky and landed in front of them.

A tall, muscular humanoid figure was emerging from the dust cloud. It turned out to be an ogre. It had green skin and a pair of big tusks.

The ogre had some wrinkles on his face as he tied his black hair into a ponytail. He was wearing a breastplate and shin guards, but that was all he wore on top of his clothes.

The ogre was three meters in height, not too tall even for Nathan and the others.

"So, it’s you, Catalith. I was wondering who had such a free time to even come to this place. Do you finally want to try an ogre’s might in bed?"

"I don’t and never will." Catalith snorted.

"Well? It looks like you are also bringing some fragile humans here." The Ogre God grinned, looking at Luna and the others.

Nathan and the others raised their guards. There was an eerie silence for a few seconds.

The Ogre God grabbed the massive axe from his back and swung it down. Noelle immediately stepped forward and struck back, trying to stop the axe. However, she was still too weak to handle the might of a true god by herself.

That was why Luna had also reinforced her power, while Flora froze the Ogre God and Iris created a weapon.

The Ogre God blinked. Everything that happened was actually just in his head. He managed to simulate their exchanges in his mind.

He could take down Noelle and Luna, but the four of them could combine their power and turn into something troublesome.

However, the most terrifying one was Nathan. He could feel Nathan’s presence turning into something enormous and terrifying. It was as if he were monitoring the world from an omniscient point of view.

As soon as he made a move, the world might be destroyed in an instant. Of course, Nathan could also see some possibilities where they clashed. He peeked at the battle much more detailed and longer than what the Ogre God could see.

The Ogre God simply closed his eyes and opened them again before saying to Nathan. "There’s no need to show that hostility toward me. Nothing happens."

Catalith and the others were confused by his words. Only Nathan and the Ogre God knew what happened in the brief few seconds.

Nathan didn’t let his guard down yet, but he at least didn’t show his hostility openly.

"Ogre God! These are my guests. Are you perhaps trying to harm them?"

"Of course not." The Ogre God chuckled. "So, what are you doing here?"

"I want them to use my authority to give them the marks. Also, do you have any information regarding aliens with divinity?"
