Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1951: Worries

Chapter 1951: Worries

Nathan had a few things he was suspicious of. He had no way of confirming whether the ones the original Nathan or Bianca possessed were the special ones.

After all, those with the special ones would just spread the normal marks. If they only fought Yog-Sothoth, they should only get normal marks. After all, the only ones who could brand them with special marks were Azathoth itself.

However, it would be a different case if Azathoth ended up playing the role. The only thing he could confirm was that the original Nathan had the mark because he was suspecting that the enemy knew everything he was trying to do.

Azathoth could simply come by in one of those timelines and brand him with the special mark. Then it was over.

At the same time, if the original Nathan had the special mark, he might have spread it to the entire continent. At that time, all his actions should be known to Azathoth.

Still, Nathan possessed a huge amount of karma that might be able to resist that power to a certain degree. Even if he couldn’t remove it, he could still somehow prevent the mark from spreading.

Elysion and Bianca were also living a rather special life. Bianca came from another continent, and her entire continent was destroyed by the supervolcano. She basically had no one to spread her marks.

Elysion secluded himself, so he rarely met others. Even if he had to meet others, he would only visit for a brief moment.

That was why Auric couldn’t confirm the marks.

Nathan let out a long sigh. He had gained a lot from this conversation.

The alien world, the alien wars, and even the sigil of the Trickster.

He had two conclusions. First, meeting Nyarlathotep might be a good option. However, Nyarlathotep was an extraordinary being. If he just went there without preparations, he would be either tricked or controlled by Nyarlathotep.

Hence, he needed to get stronger first. Without strength, there would be so many unknown variables. He would end up relying on luck, hoping that Nyarlathotep would be cooperating with him.

In the end, this Outer God behaved similarly to Loki. He couldn’t completely trust it, so he knew before becoming true gods, it would be best not to approach Nyarlathotep.

Then again, true gods weren’t enough to face an Outer God, even if it was just the Trickster. However, it should be enough to run away when things go awry.

Hence, that would be the second goal. He needed to get stronger fast.

Nathan glanced at Catalith. "Do you have a battlefield where a lot of aliens who have attained divinity will appear?"

"Hmm? This is the worst battlefield in the area. I don’t know what you’re expecting." Catalith shook his head.

Nathan turned to Seath.

Seath said, "I don’t know those battlefields. There’s no such thing in my memory. The only battlefield I have is the worlds where my kins are fighting each other."

"I see." Nathan crossed his arms. It looked like he needed to find a new battlefield, but for the time being, he intended to finalize the deal with Catalith regarding their alliance, then put the matter with Lord Frost to rest.

After that, he would find new battlefields where he could find god level aliens. He wanted to kill them and use them to evolve his own familiars. He shouldn’t say that to Seath, not only because he admitted he wanted to murder his kin, but the enemy would know what he was up to and stop giving him time.

Of course, he knew that the stronger he was, the fewer enemies of that level would appear. There weren’t simply as many god level aliens as proto class aliens.

If it were just Ena, he could gain it from lower-level aliens and accumulate them gradually. The problem would be the true vessel. It wouldn’t be easy to build a true vessel.

There were a few things he really wanted to ask, but those topics would be quite sensitive. He would rather find it out in another way than letting the black cell know all his plans.

So Nathan nodded to Catalith. "I’m done with my questions. If you want to take it, then it’s fine for me."

"All right. In that case, Seath, you will be with me for the time being. I will need as much information as I can get from you. I’m not going to ask sensitive things to avoid leaking our own information. After that, I will release you. Sounds good?"

"Yes, but may I suggest something else? Rather than just letting me go, how about using me to capture my kin and free them from this mess? And I’ll also warn you whenever you touch a sensitive topic."

Catalith wouldn’t say no to the warning. No matter how careful she was, it would be better to have another person to warn her.

On the other hand, getting his help was a different matter.

"The black cell already knows about the fact that we can remove it from your body. It will try to prevent the removal, but not many aliens can withstand the removals..." Catalith looked down, contemplating. "I personally would like to ask for your help, but..."

Seath understood her worries. "There are indeed three possibilities. First, I will betray you after gaining enough numbers to resist you. Or at least, I can make a few problems with my existence.

"Secondly, there will be huge opposition from your people. After all, we have been your enemies for so long, so it won’t be easy to accept all this, even if we were being controlled.

"Last but not least, we’re simply fighting back against people who are trying to torment us or kill us for no apparent reason.

"I understand your concern. Maybe it’s not good to take care of the children, but I should be able to help you get a few at my level.

"If you don’t feel comfortable enough to have so many of us, how about you send some of us back to control the numbers?
