Chapter 1124: Cyrion

Chapter 1124: Cyrion

After receiving support from his wife and spending some time with her, Idan was able to put his thoughts in order. He kissed her gently on the forehead goodbye and returned to his postponed tasks. At the same time, Arabel re-entered the time room.

First of all, Idan returned back to the Eastern Continent to pick up the Ancestor of the Flaming Cranes, and Prina along with him.

As for Livia and Saelina, Idan wasn’t going to bring them here yet.

He had another task for them.

First of all, Idan didn’t want to distract them from their main duties.

Secondly, he set them the task of collecting all possible information about the other owners of the True Lights.

Livia could get the information as the head of the Council, and Saelin could get it through her connections with other clans. As for Cecile, she was originally Livia’s subordinate and, given this, she will help her.

“Is there something you want to ask?” Idan asked Saelina, noticing that she wanted to ask something, but did not dare.

“What did you do to Damian?” she asked.

Being his Patroness, Saelina felt her bond with him weaken after he left. But no matter how much she wanted to find out what had happened to him, something prevented her from doing so.

“I broke some of his bones,” Idan admitted honestly. “But don’t worry, he’s alive, and I’ll get him back soon.”

With that answer, Idan was the last to step into the Access Portal and returned to the Kingdom.

“Where are we?” the ancestor of the Flaming Cranes asked in amazement when they were inside, amazed by the beauty and richness of the energy that filled the Kingdom.

“Okay, I’ll go, call me if you decide to return to the Eastern Continent again,” Prina waved goodbye and disappeared, leaving Idan and the ancestor of the Flaming Cranes alone.

“Cyrion,” — Idan addressed the old man, recognizing his name thanks to the “Eye of Identification.”

The old man finally looked up from his contemplation of the Kingdom and turned his gaze to Idan.

“What is this place?” That was the first thing he asked, and his gaze became wary as he recalled Livia and Saelina’s strange behavior. “Who are you?”

“This place is called the Kingdom. I am the one your clan made a deal with, and my name is not Ignis, but Idan. Back then, I just used a disguise,” Idan replied with a smile, voicing what the old man wanted to hear.

“Elira and the rest of your clan are still missing, but you will be able to meet and talk with them soon,” Idan added before the old man could ask a question.

“Really?” asked Cyrion excitedly.

“Yes, they’re just a little busy right now,” Idan said with a slight mystery, hiding that at that moment, all ten young Flaming Cranes, led by Elira, were mining Fire Crystals for him.

“I see how much you are interested in our Kingdom. How about a little guided tour? I’ll be happy to show you all the most interesting things,” Idan offered the old man.

“I’d be happy to, if you don’t mind,” the old man replied enthusiastically, not hiding his admiration for this amazing place.

“That’s great,” Idan said with a smile, noticing the impatience in the old man’s eyes. Then he thought about it. “Where should I start?”

“Let’s start from this place,” after making a quick decision, Idan teleported with the old man to the entrance of the restaurant.

This was the first place that came to his mind when he was looking for a way to make a good impression on the old man and win his favor. What could be better than a delicious, satisfying and healthy meal?

And he was not mistaken in his expectations.

The old man was genuinely delighted with Sofia’s skill, and his appetite, being a bird, turned out to be truly enormous.

The waitresses, who were already used to unusual guests, brought orders one after another with smiles and without a shadow of surprise, watching with pleasure as the old man devoured the treats with gusto.

After the restaurant, Idan decided to show the old man some interesting places, including his own Dungeon Gate, which, of course, made a huge impression on the old man.

When the old man saw the real Gate, he sighed heavily and looked at Idan with some apprehension. He understood that Idan would not have shown him such an important secret without sufficient guarantees.

“Since I and your clan are already bound by an agreement, I hope you, old man, won’t betray us?” asked Idan.

“No, of course I won’t betray you,” the old man replied, shaking his head confidently.

At the end of the short tour, Idan led Cyrion to the regions of the fire element of the ring of the seasons.

“Oh, how beautiful it is here!” the old man exclaimed, spreading his arms wide and feeling the powerful flow of the fiery element around him. Although its quality was not that high, the density and purity of this flame amazed even him, a Diamond-ranked being.

Idan was pleased to notice how the old man’s wary attitude had changed over the past hour: he now looked more relaxed. After giving him some more time to enjoy himself, he decided to move on to what he had brought him here for.

“Now that you know who I am and what this place is, you’ve probably already guessed why I brought you here?” asked Idan.

“Golden Fire,” — Cyrion said, remembering Elder Elena’s request mentioned in the letter.

“Exactly,” Idan nodded. “I hope you won’t mind showing me what one of the six True Fires looks like?”

Cyrion, noticing some impatience in Idan’s eyes, sighed.

“Let me guess, you’re a so-called Awakened One with an affinity for the element of fire, aren’t you? And you long to master the Golden Fire.”

“You’re pretty smart, old man,” — Idan didn’t deny it. “Yes, I want to see if I can master the True Fire.”

Cyrion, having received the confirmation, thought for a moment, and then nodded.

“Okay, I don’t mind showing you the Golden Fire, but I can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to master it.”

Cyrion immediately made it clear that mastering True Fire is not an easy task. Otherwise, he would not have been one of the few who achieved this in the World of Fire.

“Oh, why is that?” — Idan was intrigued.

Cyrion raised his hand, and a flame burned in his palm — at first an ordinary red one, and then, before Idan’s eyes, it turned into gold.

“Just as all creatures are different from each other, True Fire is different for everyone, and everyone perceives it in their own way. What you see is my personal Golden Fire,” Cyrion said.
