Shortly after Irene’s disappearance, Nemo, Lina, Lucinda, and Milena had not gone far when, without any warning, the wind hit them, followed by a familiar snowstorm.
“What’s going on?” Milena managed to utter in surprise, as they were all transported to the arena, where Irene had just quickly completed her duel.
The first thing they did when the storm subsided was to check if anyone else had disappeared.

Only then did they look around.
“Where are we?” — everyone has a question.
“The Frostborns,” — Lucinda said, and following her gaze, the others saw a lot of white figures among the rocks around them.
“Meow!” meowed Kitty, the first to notice the appearance of a woman with long white hair on the opposite side of the arena.
“That’s her,” Lucinda tensed.
“The Supervisor of the Ice Caves.”
There was no doubt about it: the long white hair, eyes, clothes, and facial features perfectly matched what Sierra and Arabel had told them.
The Supervisor walked leisurely through the arena and, having reached its center, stopped. All this time, she did not take her eyes off Nemo, the Challenger who had begun the “Conquest” and wanted to include her territory in his force.
Nemo, Lina, Lucinda and Milena were in awe.
In front of them was a creature of the ninth rank, equal in strength to Geminia.
But unlike Geminia, they didn’t know how she felt about them, and it scared them at the same time.
Kitty, trembling all over and trying not to look at Supervisor, pressed herself against Nemo’s head.

Supervisor did not move, remaining motionless.

Lina and Lucinda noticed that Nemo was acting strangely and looked at each other, guessing that he was communicating with her.
After a short silence, Supervisor tilted her head slightly and spoke one word through a mental link:

Then she fell silent.
Nemo frowned, but because of his faceless mask, it was impossible to tell what emotions he was experiencing.
“Huh?” exclamations of surprise could be heard from behind him, and at the same time, there was a buzz around the arena.
Nemo glanced at Supervisor and noticed for the first time how her usually impassive face twitched. A hint of surprise flashed through him.
The Frostbournes, who were watching from the sidelines, fell silent after a short murmur, and the arena fell silent again.
Supervisor remained silent.
It was only after a while that she spoke through a mental connection:
“You… can you hear me?”
Her voice trembled slightly, and Nemo caught a hint of hope in her question.
“Yes, I hear,” Nemo nodded.
For a moment, surprise and a slight smile flashed across Supervisor’s face, but she quickly hid them, regaining her calm demeanor.
“Welcome to the Heart of the Cold, Challenger,” Supervisor said in a solemn but cold voice.
“And yet, where are they?” — Nemo repeated his question.
“Do you want me to return them? Did just take them and return them to you?” she asked a counter question.
Nemo hesitated.
“Yeah. I want you to return them if possible.”
“You know, everything has consequences,” Supervisor said. “So does Conquest.”
There was silence in the air.
“If you want them back, then show me what you can do. Come out against me,” Supervisor challenged. “Prove that you are truly worthy of the title of Challenger.”
Nemo clenched his fists, and his aura flashed around his body.
“If you satisfy me, I will consider the possibility and return them safely,” Supervisor said in a cold voice. “And if not…”
Supervisor’s white eyes flashed with blue light.
“Then they will be the price of your failure and incompetence.”
An aura gathered around Nemo, as if he was on the verge of exploding.
Lucinda, Lina and Milena became worried, not knowing what he was talking about with the Overseer of the Ice caves.
But suddenly Nemo’s aura disappeared.
“Fuuuh,” he breathed, and his arms relaxed.
At the last moment, he remembered the instructions of his master, Milica’s words: always stay in a clear and cold mind, do not give in to emotions. Whatever the situation, always keep yourself in control. After all, acting on emotions is the first step towards losing initiative and defeat.
Nemo instinctively opened his status to check what progress he had made during that time.
