Chapter 1219: Against the Supervisor of the Ice Caves.

“I won’t let you go alone,” Lina said decisively, as soon as Nemo told them about the Supervisor’s call. “I’m coming with you.”

Nemo looked into her eyes and saw that she was full of seriousness and wasn’t going to back down. He had already expected such a reaction from her, but he was still very happy to hear and see it.

Nodding to her, Nemo turned to Lucinda, who immediately said:

“Count on me.”

The last one left, Milena, also wanted to join them, but Lucinda intervened:

“And don’t think about it.”

“But…” Milena began to object.

“No buts, period,” — Lucinda snapped.

Nemo turned to Milena, who pouted with displeasure.

“Lucinda’s right, Milena, I’m sorry, but you’re staying.”

Milena lowered her head and clenched her fists.

She did not throw a tantrum, realizing that she was the weakest in the group and would rather interfere than help. She understood that Lucinda and the others were primarily worried about her.

“Okay,” she said with a sigh, as if giving up, but deep down she still felt hurt and useless.

Nemo turned his gaze to Kitty, who was sitting on his shoulders.

“Meow!” she meowed.

“What? Do you want to join too?” he stared intently into the golden eyes of the kitten.

Kitty nodded her cute little face with confidence, and before Nemo could object, she disintegrated into black goo, slid down and turned into his right hand.

Nemo looked at his trembling right hand and squeezed it, accepting Kitty’s decision.

“Let’s go.”

Nemo took a step towards Supervisor under the Frostborns’ gaze.

All this time, Supervisor, like an ice statue, stood and watched them.

Even now, there was no emotion on her face.

Meanwhile, in a separate cave, Ned, Hailey, and Irene, who took care of Arslan, were watching what was happening.

“Well… I don’t regret not being there,” Hailey grinned, seeing where everything was going. “Especially since I got what I came for.”

Irene looked at her questioningly.

“Heh,” — Hailey grinned, noticing Irene’s gaze, and confessed, “My opponent was an Ice Dragon that I…”

“It’s starting,” — Ned interrupted her, and everyone turned their gaze to the arena.

Under a flash of lightning, Lina rushed forward, followed by Lucinda, illuminating the arena with a bright light.

Nemo, a little behind, rushed forward swiftly, surrounding his body with an aura. In his right hand, Nemo clutched a sword, wrapped in the energy of Madness, which Kitty transmitted to him through the formed arm.

Supervisor’s lips parted slightly, and she whispered one word:

“Freeze.”

Boom!

The entire arena trembled.

Nemo, Lina, and Lucinda stopped abruptly, as if they had crashed into something solid. The colossal energy of the ice element fell on them.

The very space around them began to freeze and harden.

Even Milena, who was standing behind, felt the changes in space and the oppressive force around her.

BZZZZZ!

Lina’s body was covered with lightning, and she seemed to explode. Four wings spread out behind her, and each feather emitted and vibrated with lightning, destroying the power that bound her. She was able to free herself.

Gripping her sword tightly, she looked at the Supervisor and activated {Ghost Stats}, doubling her {Strength} stat. Putting in as much Soul Force as she could, she activated the Will of the Sword.

The icy space in front of her split open, and a sickle of sword attacks shot towards Supervisor.

Seeing the sword attack, Supervisor didn’t even move.

It was only the second time that the word came out of her mouth.:

“Dissect”.

Space split apart with a thin blue line, and the sickle of Lina’s sword attack broke apart. But the blue line did not stop there and rushed straight to Lina, who managed to put out her sword.

Clank!

There was a sound of collision, but Lina couldn’t stop the impact. The blue line slammed into her like a battering ram. A crack appeared on Lina’s sword, given by her father, Sword Hero, blood splattered, and she was thrown back.

Everything happened in the blink of an eye.

Lucinda, upon seeing what had become of Lina, immediately assumed her Light Spirit Form. The arena was illuminated by radiance, and in its place appeared the embodiment of Light.

The pressure that had been holding her down disappeared, and Lucinda, freed, created many spears of light, which she brought down on Supervisor.

For the first time, Supervisor’s gaze wavered in surprise. She did not expect to see the Spirit Form of an ordinary Valkyrie who had not yet reached the Highest Realm.

Before Lucinda’s attack could reach her, Supervisor’s eyes shone with a blue light, and a third word came out of her mouth.:

“Freeze.”

All the spears of light that Lucinda aimed at Supervisor froze, covered with ice.

Lucinda herself froze and began to quickly become covered with an icy crust.

Her eyes widened in fear.

As her body was covered in ice, her Light Spirit form disintegrated, and she returned to her normal state.

The last thing she had time to think about before she was completely covered in ice was, “The Law of Ice.”

Lucinda turned into an ice statue.

All of her spears of light scattered, and the ice that bound them crumbled into icy dust.

After dealing with Lucinda, Supervisor’s gaze fell on Nemo, who continued to resist the power of the word “Freeze.”

His aura fluctuated and mixed with Kitty’s madness energy, forming a pinkish-purple layer around him that prevented the icy energy from completely binding him.

“He’s about to break through to the Diamond Rank,” the Supervisor realized. “He needs one last push.”

“Let’s help him,” she said to herself, and then said softly.

“Pierce”

A thin blue spear shot towards Nemo like a flash.

Nemo gritted his teeth, ready to take the blow. And at that moment, Lina appeared in front of him like lightning, meeting Supervisor’s attack with a swift sword thrust.

Clank!

There was a sound of collision.

The blue spear hit the crack directly and shattered Lina’s sword, but its trajectory changed. Piercing through her right shoulder, it flew just above Nemo without harming him.
