Chapter 1220: Rampage

Nemo realized what had happened even before the sword fragments touched the ground.

Lina had received this sword from her father, and Nemo knew how much she treasured it. He realized that the sword meant much more to her than just a weapon.

Yet she unhesitatingly exposed him to a blow meant for him to protect him.

Blood gushed from Lina’s punctured shoulder. She was thrown to the side, and a fragment of her blade, spinning, flew in front of Nemo’s eyes.

Something snapped inside him.

Fear, guilt, and rage swept over him at the same time, sweeping away the last barrier. His Soul Force shuddered and burst out.

Supervisor looked at Lina differently for the first time.

She changed her mind.

But the result remained the same.

Nemo began his breakthrough to the Diamond Rank.

His aura exploded, freeing him from the ice-cold energy that held him down.

However, Nemo wasn’t bothered by that at the moment. His gaze was fixed on Lina.

She was lying in a pool of her own blood, and for a moment he thought the worst, until he saw her move. Then her body burst into lightning, and Lina began to burn her wound with them.

“She’s alive,” Nemo thought with relief and smiled, but immediately looked up and met Supervisor.

Anger and rage began to overwhelm him again as soon as he saw her cold gaze.

And then a system notification appeared in front of his eyes.

Suddenly, Nemo heard a painfully familiar call that would not have been confused with anything else.

Nemo didn’t hesitate and jumped at the call.

[Ding! The bloodline seal weakened, and the bloodline of the Rain Clan began to awaken.]

As soon as Nemo heard this, fragments of his clan’s legacy flooded into his mind, and his suppressed bloodline began to awaken. However, at the same moment, a tremendous pressure descended on him.

Nemo raised his head with difficulty.

“Not recommended… So it’s possible.”

[The bloodline seal has not been fully restored yet. Until its final stabilization, the Rampage technique can be activated with less risk.]

Nemo saw this as his only chance.

Despite the pain tearing through his body, Nemo grabbed onto it.

“Rampage.”

His heart began to pound deafeningly.

These marks were symmetrical, but at the same time they were mirror images of each other.

Supervisor did nothing but silently watch Nemo, but her gaze was no longer indifferent.

She noticed all the changes that had happened to Nemo in such a short period of time after his breakthrough to the Diamond Rank.

However, when Nemo’s body began to smoke slightly, she finally realized everything to the fullest, and her eyes widened in surprise.

“Descendant of the Rain Clan,” she said in shock to herself.

When two black daggers dotted with thin cracks appeared in Nemo’s hands, Supervisor involuntarily took a step back.

Her soul trembled with a slight, almost forgotten fear.

“The Dark Weapon…”

She recognized them. The legendary weapon of the cursed clan, capable of injuring not the body, but the soul itself.

Nemo rose to his feet, holding two dark daggers in his hands, and his body was smoking.

“Rampage,” Supervisor found out. “I never would have thought that after all the trials that have befallen the Rain Clan, I would be able to see the True Rampage with my own eyes again.”

“Now I understand why this crazy woman supported this candidate and allowed the Temple to be taken over,” Supervisor thought. “That was the whole point.”

Her eyes shone, and for the first time, a faint smile appeared on her face, which quickly disappeared.

Nemo felt a surge of incredible strength, but at the same time noticed how quickly it was running out.

The seal was suppressing his bloodline as it recovered. Knowing this, he poured all his Soul Power, enhanced by the three contracts, the Energy of Madness and aura, into both daggers.

Activating {Ghost Stats} to increase the {Strength} stat, he delivered two cross-shaped strikes.

Two sickles of attack forming an “X” shape rushed towards Supervisor.

She didn’t dodge, but she wasn’t going to be hit either. For the first time in a long time, she uttered the fifth word in a short period of time:

“Stop.”

The entire arena seemed to freeze. Nemo’s blows seemed to stop in the air, the icy dust stopped falling, and space seemed to lose its sense of time.

The fight was over.

In one word, uttered by a Rank 9 being.
