Hailey landed at the edge of the Lava Lake. Idan jumped off her back, and the baby dragon remained perched on her head.

“Phew…” sighed Idan, taking a deep breath. He realized that as soon as he crossed the border, the baby dragon’s parents would immediately notice him and instantly teleport him to their place.

“Are you ready?” he asked Hailey.

“Frankly, no,” she said honestly.

Standing at that boundary, she just wanted to turn around and fly away.

Idan turned his attention to the baby dragon.

“Okay, kid, come here,” he called softly.

However, Hailey immediately objected, “No! Big brother is mine; I won’t give it to anyone.”

When Idan saw Hailey clutching her head, preventing the baby dragon from leaving, he realized that his plan to use the baby as a shield had failed. Hailey had already used him as her shield.

He didn’t know why Hailey was so afraid of meeting the Baby Dragon’s parents. He could have easily returned the Baby Dragon to his star and taken him away, but decided against it and let him stay with Hailey.

“Well, let’s go,” he said, and stepped to the edge of the Lava Lake.

Hailey hesitated a bit, but followed him.

As soon as they crossed the line and entered the territory of the Lava Lake, the eyes of two powerful beings turned to them. In the next second, the two of them were teleported into the heart of the Lava Lake.

And that’s what they saw: a huge red eye with a vertical pupil, bigger than Hailey herself in her dragon form.

“That’s…” Hailey said, unable to say a word. Her mind couldn’t imagine the size of a creature whose eye was so huge.

The pressure and power of the fire element in this place was so great that Idan had to transform into an Alpha of Fire in order not to burn out. At the same time, through the ring, the Kingdom began to greedily absorb the element of fire.

A second head appeared from under the lava, and the two Supervisors of the Lava Lake appeared in front of Idan and Hailey. They were the dragon’s parents, who looked down on them, and their looks spoke for themselves. They were furious.

Idan swallowed hard.

Hailey bowed her head in respect, feeling the power of the bloodlines of these two dragons.

The baby dragon sitting on her head suddenly jumped off and dived into the lava.

One of the two dragons, the more graceful one, blinked and began to shrink rapidly. By the time the baby emerged from the lava, she had become very small and caught him in her arms.

“Graa! Graa!” the baby dragon hissed joyfully, finding himself in his mother’s arms.

Papa Dragon stared at Idan intently, and after a short silence, he said:

“Young man, you finally deigned to come.”

Idan looked up and met his gaze.

“Would you like to explain yourself?”

“That’s exactly what I came for,” Idan replied. “Don’t apologize or ask for forgiveness. Because there’s no need for that.”

“Oh!” said Papa Dragon, leaning forward.

“But first, let me give you a small gift,” Idan said, taking out the candies he had bought on the way here.

As soon as the 20 fire-filled candies appeared in his hands, the gazes of all four dragons turned towards them.

Even Hailey couldn’t stay indifferent to these candies.

Watching how quickly the dragons’ gazes changed, Idan could barely contain his smile.

The candies soared from his palms and rushed towards the dragons.

The Papa Dragon began to shrink until it reached the size of the Mama Dragon.

The baby dragon caught the candy first and ate it with pleasure. The parents did not interfere, enjoying the joy of their baby.

“Graa!” his eyes shone with happiness, and a stream of pure flame burst out of his nose.

Seeing this, the parents couldn’t resist and also ate a piece of candy.

Their reaction was no different from that of a baby dragon: their eyes widened, and flames burst from their nostrils. They couldn’t believe that such amazing candies existed.

Hailey looked at the three dragons with envy.

Unable to stand it, she asked:

“Can I?”

Only then did the dragon’s parents notice her presence. Previously, they were focused on their child, and then on Idan. And only now they paid attention to their “daughter”.

Hailey shuddered as she felt their gaze on her, and her heart skipped a beat when the Mama Dragon said.
