Chapter 1283: The Third Ascension Trial II

Another bright flash lit up the space, shrouded in dark thunderclouds.

The two sparks merged back together.

It caught up with another one and made it its own…

No, it brought it back… no, it brought “it” back to this…

It got bigger, faster, and brighter. Another spark passed by “it”, causing a familiar feeling. It was a part of “him,” but it didn’t chase after it. No, it waited and kept moving forward.

Movement was everything. It couldn’t stop. It was searching. It was looking for what it needed right now. It wasn’t chasing the first spark it found, no, it needed exactly the one it needed right now.

After a long search, it finally found “him”. It flashed and moved, illuminating the dark clouds.

That’s it. What “it” needs.

A flash lit up the space, and the two became one again.

And so on in a circle.

This is not the end. It has to find everyone and bring them back.

The cycle was repeated. Spark after spark found its own kind and consumed them.

Soon it became huge, bright and heavy at the same time.

Its movement began to slow down.

For spark like it, movement was everything. But it didn’t become weak, no, it remained powerful.

However, its speed was falling. This was due to the chaos of the assembled consciousnesses, which were trying to unite into a single whole, and for this peace was needed.

As the speed dropped, the collected sparks felt the end coming.

There was a bright flash and it exploded.

The sparks flew in different directions.

What started with a single spark has disappeared. Everything went back to the beginning.

So it seemed at first glance.

But then, in different corners of the dark thundercloud, each released spark began to hunt for another. The one they needed now.

All of them were no longer those sparks. They became the ones who inherited its desire to “gather everyone.”

Spark was no longer alone. There were a lot of them.

A snow-white mountain rises in the midst of dark clouds pierced by lightning.

Cold winds blew over its slopes, and the peaks froze in silence.

But in the midst of this snow-white splendor, there was a ringing resonance of an ice crystal, in response to a mysterious cry.

The sound reverberated through the silent mountaintop, and as if in response, another crystal trembled at the other end, followed by another.

One by one, the silent crystals woke up, merging into a single chime.

Then there was a subtle attraction between the nearest crystals.

As the resonance increased, the gravitational force increased until the first crystal moved. The others followed it.

Gradually, neighboring crystals began to merge into small clusters.

Everything didn’t happen all at once, but gradually.

As time passed, it was impossible to calculate exactly how many crystals responded to the call, but this was only a small part of what they had been before, being part of a single whole.

Lightning flashed high in the sky.

Suddenly, the “Crying” that had woken them up and become the source stopped.

The ringing stopped abruptly.

The crystals that had just come to life froze and began to sink back into sleep.

The others followed them.

The movement of the crystals stopped.

Only the clusters were still awake and ringing softly, but without a source, the ringing began to fade, and with the onset of silence, they slowly began to be pulled into sleep and silence.

Gradually, one by one, they began to fade away.

And so, when it seemed that everything had quieted down and the snow-white mountain had once again plunged into serenity, the “Crying” returned.

This time, not just one crystal responded, but all those who had been awakened earlier.

The mountain shook with a chorus of bells, and its resonance spread to much wider areas.

More and more crystals joined the general chorus.

In the Kingdom, on the second floor of a private house, Bera, assuming the form of Arabel, gently hugged a crying Isenna.

“Don’t cry, my little ice princess,” she whispered softly, trying to calm the child, but the crying wouldn’t stop.

Earlier, she was able to calm Isenna down for a short time with her appearance, and she stopped crying. But now she didn’t know what to do.

Her connection to Arabel was unavailable. And Bera understood that her master had already begun her Ascension Trial.

Holding Isenna in her arms, Bera caught a subtle response from the icy elements around the little girl. This response seemed to resonate with something that Bera couldn’t understand.

A little further away, Anna was gently rocking her grandson, who was sniffing softly, but her eyes were full of concern.

After Arabel left, there was silence in the room until Isenna suddenly started crying non-stop.

Richard was the first to try to calm his granddaughter, but he couldn’t.

Sierra, hovering over the top of the mountain, silently watched what was happening until she noticed the approach of two familiar figures.

She disappeared and in the next instant appeared in front of two gorgeous women. One was dressed in black, the other in white. These two women were the Supervisors of the two Forbidden Zones, Geminia and Ilveina.

The two women stopped and looked at Sierra, and then their eyes went to the mountain towering behind Sierra.

“Geminia,” — Sierra greeted with a slight nod, and then, turning to Ilveina, she also greeted her, “Ilveina.”

Despite the restrictions imposed by Limbo, these two women were Rank 9 beings, and Sierra, being a Rank 8 Dark Valkyrie, showed respect.

Geminia turned to Sierra with a smile.:

“Since you’re here, can I assume that this is their doing?”

Sierra nodded silently.

“Don’t resist,” she said, and teleported away, taking them with her.

They appeared high in the sky, at a safe distance from the top of the mountain.

“Oh! Interesting,” Geminia exclaimed, instantly interested in what was happening.

Ilveina, whose face usually remained impassive, trembled for a moment when she looked at Arabel’s body, which was exposed to the element of Ice with the “rudiments” of the law.

“So this is the Ascension Trial that the inhabitants of Earth who have a special Path go through?” Geminia said aloud, so that Sierra and Ilveina heard her words.

Sierra didn’t say anything, she wanted to get the answer to the same question herself.
