Chapter 625: Gardens of New Home

Chapter 625: Gardens of New Home

Gardens of New Home

He walked into one of the courtyards. It was big so big that it felt like his own world. The courtyard was very quiet and peaceful like it was made to be calm and pretty. The space felt open and wide. It was nice to be there. The grand courtyards were amazing. This one was especially beautiful, with its own special kind of quietness.

A gentle breeze, with a scent went by him. It touched his face. Had a sweet smell that was really nice. This sweetness was made up of different smells all mixed together. The man did not mean to slow down. The soft floral breeze and the sweetness it carried made him do so without even realizing it. The floral scent of the breeze was very nice and it made the man feel happy and calm so he slowed down. Enjoyed the soft floral breeze.

Roses were over the place in little groups. They were roses and white roses and gold roses. The petals, on the roses looked really nice and soft in the light that was fading away. The roses had petals that were glowing softly because of the dying light.

The lilies swayed along the edge. They had these heads that bowed down. It looked like the lilies were talking to each other in a way. The lilies seemed to be having a conversation.

The Jasmine vines climbed up the stone pillars. They were really thin. They looked very elegant. The Jasmine vines were threading their fragrance through the air. The smell of the Jasmine vines was around.

The Hibiscus flowers were really beautiful. They were in full color, near the fountains. You could see the Hibiscus flowers and their reflections were moving on the water. It was very pretty to look at the Hibiscus flowers. The way they looked on the water’s surface.

Daffodils nodded gently in the breeze. They were, like stars that you could see during the day. The Daffodils were very bright. They stayed that way even when it was getting dark outside.

The smell was really nice, in every corner. It was a mix of things and the earthy smell of grass and dirt. This smell went around him and it felt like something was actually touching him. The smell of the earth and the sweet things were all mixed up together.

Sakura trees were standing on the side. The wind was. It made the branches of the sakura trees move gently. Some of the petals came off. They floated down slowly. They looked like snowflakes as they went across the courtyard. Leon saw one sakura petal go by his shoulder and land on the stone ground. The sakura petal was pretty. It did not stay that way for long after it hit the ground.

It was really mean how quickly everything ended. The whole thing was over fast.

The fruit trees were right beside them. These fruit trees were mango trees, apple trees and pomegranate trees. The branches of the mango trees and the apple trees and the pomegranate trees were really heavy, with fruit that was getting ripe. The branches of the fruit trees were bent down because they had much fruit on them. It looked like the mango trees and the apple trees and the pomegranate trees were having a time holding up all the fruit they had.

The fountains were, over the courtyard. They were really cool. Each one had patterns and animals carved into it. These animals looked like they were moving even though they were not. The water shot up from the mouths and claws of the animals. Then it fell back down making a curtain of water. The sun was. It made the water look like it was made of gold. The fountains were really pretty.

And in the center—two artificial lakes.

The water in the lake was really clear and calm. It looked like a mirror reflecting the violet color of the sky. The fish in the lake were beautiful they were silver orange and gold. They swam slowly their bodies shining in the light. When they moved their fins it made waves in the water. These waves touched the stones around the lake it was like the lake was slowly taking breaths. The lake was so peaceful the water was smooth, like glass.

It was peaceful.

Almost too peaceful.

Leon. Let the quiet surround him. He heard water dripping on rocks somewhere. The leaves were making noises as the wind blew through them. The last bit of sunlight was still on his skin. The whole courtyard felt far away and like a dream. It was like he had walked into a picture by mistake. The courtyard was very quiet and peaceful like a painting. Leon felt like he was in a world a world that was very calm and serene. The sound of water and leaves was the thing that was real the courtyard and everything, in it felt like a painting, a beautiful picture that Leon had stumbled into.

This place had once belonged to Gary. The place was something that had once belonged to Gary. Gary was the person who used to own this place.

To kings before him.

This world was formed by a line of power that never ended. The power was always there it never. It shaped this world into what it is today. The long line of power is what made this world.

Now it was up, to him to walk through this thing. He had to walk through it.

The thing was his now. It belonged to him.

A small smile came on his lips it was not because he was proud or he had won it was something. The truth is that it was something quiet and more dangerous. He was seeing how it felt to say that truth out. He took a breath and tried to calm himself down.

This place really needed someone to come in and shake things up. It was getting pretty stale. The new life that is being brought in is a thing.

He moved again. His boots made a brushing sound over the stone as he walked towards the huge building at the end of the courtyard. The gardens got farther behind him with each step. The thing that was waiting for him ahead was getting closer and closer. That made him feel a little anxious. The courtyard was getting smaller, behind him. The massive structure was getting bigger and bigger in front of him. He kept walking towards the structure.

Leon’s New Manor

The manor was really big. It was so big that it felt like a palace inside another palace. This place was meant to make people feel small when they came near it. The outside of the manor was made of white stone with thin lines of gold in it. When the sun shone on it during the day the walls sparkled with a glow that did not seem like it was, from around here. Now that the sun was setting the manor gave off a calm and serious warmth. It was like the manor was alive and watching the manors surroundings. The manor felt very quiet and peaceful like it was waiting for something to happen to the manor.

The front entrance had tall pillars. These pillars had carvings on them that showed battles. You could see warriors fighting and monsters falling down. The naga insignia was also carved into the pillars. It was a design that twisted and turned around the stone. The naga insignia looked nice. It also seemed a little scary. The windows were really big. They sparkled with a soft light. The windows had magic on them so the rooms inside stayed cool when it was hot outside in the summer. The magic also kept the rooms warm when it was cold outside in the winter. The naga insignia and the magic on the windows were cool things, about the front entrance.

The vines are really pretty. They have been pruned with hands. Now they curl along the railings and pillars. This makes the building look nicer because the sharp lines are not so sharp anymore. The vines have leaves and some of them have a little bit of purple on them.

There are lanterns, under the roof. They are not lit up yet. They are waiting for it to get dark outside. Then they will be turned on. They will look really nice. The vines and the lanterns make the place look very nice. The vines have lots of green and a little bit of purple.

The manor went far back and it had a lot of different parts to it. There were guest rooms for visitors training halls where people would practice fighting, with swords and magic private areas where people lived and rooms that Gary used to use and all the other rulers before Gary used to use too.

The old king used to think the rooms behind the throne were his special place. It was a place with darkness and where he had complete power. Leon changed that soon as he got there. Leon wanted to get from the bad feelings around the throne. He wanted to get from the quiet talking from the old ways of doing things from the pressure of all the men who were king before Leon. The throne still had a lot of those feelings and Leon did not want them. Leon wanted the rooms behind the throne to be different now that Leon was, in charge.

The person picked this manor. He liked this manor. This manor was the one he wanted.

He did this because he really needed some space not because he was being vain.

Room to think.

Room to breathe.

There is this chance for freedom that even someone, in charge like a ruler can still try to get. That freedom is something that even a ruler can still reach for.

The building soaked up the bit of sunlight and would not let it go. There were threads of gold color in the stone, which made every edge look soft and give off a warm glow. It was as if the day was staying there and did not want to leave. The building did not feel like something that had been given to him by people who did not care. The building felt like it was waiting for him it felt like a promise that was warm and could easily be broken. The sunlight made the building feel this way it made the gold threads, in the pale stone shine. It made everything feel warm and nice. The building and the sunlight and the gold threads all felt like they were waiting for him to do something.

Leon stopped at the foot of the path. His chest went up as he took a breath the kind of breath you take when you are about to do something big. For a moment Leon felt the weight of the titles and the bloodlines and the expectations that Leon had and it was pressing against his ribs. Leon was thinking about all the things that Leon was supposed to do.

The man said "I am home for now", in a voice really he was just talking to himself because there was nobody else around to listen to him.

The words sounded really strange. They were too soft, for what the words actually meant. The words just did not seem to match up with what they were trying to say.

He walked towards the doors his boots scraping against the stone floor. The sound of his boots was steady and slow. He took one step. Then another and with each step he felt a connection to this place. It was like a string was being tied between him and the place one step, at a time. Each step felt like it was pulling him in making him a part of this place. He kept walking his boots making that sound and with every step that string got a little tighter.

Two guards were standing at the entrance. They were wearing armor that was polished so bright that it caught the sunlight and bent it. The golden naga was coiled across their breastplates. It looked very proud. You could not miss it. This symbol was meant to warn people and also to impress them at the time. The guards had spears that were resting at their sides. The tips of the spears were glinting like stars that’re very far away. The faces of the guards were very serious. They were chosen to be guards because they were disciplined men. They were not just protecting the entrance, the golden naga and the guards were there to show the power of the naga and the people, behind it.

When Leon appeared they all stood up at the same time. Then in one move both of them bowed down low to Leon. Leon was the one they were all looking at. They were showing respect to Leon.

"Greeting, sire."

Leon slowed down the wind touched his hair that was damp with sweat. It felt like the world was seeing how he would do with his title. The breeze kept brushing against his hair as if the world was checking to make sure Leon was really ready, for this title of his.

He looked at them...
