Chapter 1515: After Story: Director’s Cut [Part 1]

"I can’t believe I’m doing this..."

The System God, Deus Ex Machina, casually sipped his coffee. He was sitting in a cafe, waiting for someone.

This was his first time talking to his no-good son, Thirteen, half a year after the latter’s wedding.

He had attended the wedding ceremony, but he had disguised himself to blend with the crowd. After everything that happened in the past, he struggled to face his son.

Aside from that, he was also shocked that Fate married him.

When the reception had ended, the System God had even taken a random stroll in the city just to clear his mind.

Suddenly a notebook fell on his head, taking him by surprise. He might have been so preoccupied with his own thoughts that he didn’t even realize that something was about to fall on his head.

When he tried to see what had hit him, he saw a notebook that had the label "System’s POV Director’s Cut."

"What’s this?" Deus Ex Machina blinked before casually flipping the notebook open out of curiosity.

It was then that he read things that made his eyes widen in shock. The events written down were things Thirteen had experienced... or should have experienced.

There were footnotes of important events that should have been milestones of his life. Events that the System God didn’t know about.

"Chapter 55: Introduce Leah Remington... one of Thirteen’s female leads," the System God read the note in the back. "Wasn’t able to make it a reality because he was sent to Solterra before he could deepen his relationship with her."

The System God didn’t know what to think after reading this part of the story. A quick search in his Soul Core and the information of Leah Remington appeared.

She first met Thirteen during a gathering in the Remington Clan. Zion’s father and her father had talked behind the scenes, wanting to pair them up. But this plan didn’t pull through due to certain circumstances.

Deus Ex Machina then turned to the next page to see what more was written there.

"Total Annihilation of the Assassin Group Death Wish after Gerald taught them a lesson," Deus Ex Machina read the sticky note right next to it. "The original plan is to ask the help of the Fiend, Forneus, and wipe them out alongside Zaphiel’s forces.

"Was supposed to happen in the middle of the story, but introducing a Fiend and a Celestial at that time might break the balance of the story, so it had been put on hold. However, due to the next events that transpired, the author forgot about it."

The System God blinked once, then twice, trying to understand what he was reading. He didn’t know who wrote this notebook, but the events written there were compelling.

"The three Valkyries, Viola, Sharon, and Louise would be infected by the Zion Virus and were meant to become Thirteen’s secret lovers." Deus Ex Machina frowned. "But since there is a limit to the number of Female Leads, I had to let them go reluctantly."

The more Deus Ex Machina read, the more he thought that this might have been the possible future branches that his no-good son might have taken in a parallel universe.

A universe where Leah and him became lovers, and the three Valkyries had become his concubines.

There was also a list of Thirteen’s hosts that should have also been added to the story, but for some reason, they didn’t appear.

The only sticky note that was pasted on the page was that having too many of them would delay important arcs of the story.

"Thirteen’s close friend, Vincent, should have been Shasha’s lover. But given his flirty nature and playboy reputation, Thirteen might kill him before Vincent can even hold hands with his sister. Scrapped." Deus Ex Machina scoffed after reading this piece of information. "I can definitely see that happening."

He once again turned the pages of the notebook to see more things that should have happened, but didn’t come to pass.

"The Fiend of Many Faces, Dantanian, would ask Remi’s hand for marriage because he wanted to become part of Zion’s family. But this didn’t happen because the age gap was too big, and people might brand him as a *BEEP*."

"Rhia would meet with her mother, who was now the Queen of Artem. Although she no longer had a memory of her, she would suddenly call her mom, making Queen Miriamelle tear up and hold her tightly."

"The Death Lord, Erasmus (AKA Cassiel), and Queen Miriamelle would become lovers, and she would give birth to his son. Whom Erasmus would call Zion II. Since it didn’t happen in the main story line, adding these scenes in the After Story is being considered."

"Derek and Mildred would become a couple as well, and they would be lovey-dovey with each other. Didn’t add to the story because making Derek happy makes the author feel his liver itch."

"Shana’s sister, Rianna will marry Thirteen’s brother, Mikhail alongside Siri and Leah Remington. Leah was the young man’s political wife, but the two of them truly loved each other after they became a family. Will be added in the After Story."

There were also many other entries there that were supposed to be added in the "After Story" or were scrapped altogether.

But the real shocker was when the System God turned to the last page.

It was supposed to be the TRUE ending of System’s POV.

"Maple and Cinnamon will help Thirteen barge at the Temple of the Ten Thousand Gods with Sun Wukong." Deus Ex Machina narrowed his eyes as he read this content. "Using Pandora’s Box, he threatened the Gods to surrender the System God and the Goddess of Fate.

"If they don’t accept his demands, he would suck them all inside of the box and trap them there for thousands of years. In the end, the Gods relented and surrendered the two Gods.

"Having secured the two targets of his vengeance, Thirteen didn’t hesitate to trap his no-good father, and the Goddess inside Pandora’s Box, setting a condition for their release."

The System God had to pause what he was reading in order to pinch the bridge of his nose. "What the hell did I just read?"

After regaining his composure, he once again read the continuation with Thirteen making a declaration.

"Pops, I feel so sorry for you because you’re thousands of years old, but you’re still a virgin," Thirteen said in disdain. "The two of you work hard and give me a little brother or sister. I will only release you after they are born."

Deus Ex Machina’s hand shook after reading this part. He had no idea who wrote this Director’s Cut, but that fate would’ve been truly tragic.

Although he had to admit that despite having tens of thousands of sons and daughters, he was still a virgin.

As for the Goddess... She was truly breathtakingly beautiful.

But just like Thirteen, the System God didn’t understand human emotions. But after his encounter with his no-good son during the past few years, he learned the emotion of "anger" very well.

So, even if he and the Goddess were trapped inside Pandora’s Box, the chances of hooking up would be very small. Maybe they would be forced to do it out of desperation, but still... it was something that the System God wasn’t too keen on doing.

’Good thing it didn’t happen,’ Deus Ex Machina patted his chest. ’Whoever wrote this Director’s Cut is too evil!’

After remembering that memory of the past, the System God sighed before finishing his cup of coffee.

It was also at that moment when he saw his no-good son walking in his direction, alongside Stella, who was walking hand in hand with him.

Thirteen had asked to meet with him because he said that he had an important announcement to make to his no-good father.

"Pops, did you wait long?" Thirteen asked before pulling the chair to allow Stella to sit first before he pulled his own chair to face his father.

"I only waited for two minutes and thirty-three seconds," Deus Ex Machina replied. "Now, tell me why you asked to meet with me."

The System God was still thinking of the events that were written in the Director’s Cut notebook, which made him feel conflicted after seeing Stella, whose soul had merged with the Goddess.

The same Goddess whom Thirteen planned to trap alongside him inside Pandora’s Box, which almost made the System God shudder.

"Stella and Fate are pregnant," Thirteen said with a smirk. "You’re going to be a grandfather soon."

The System God spat the coffee that he had just drank after hearing this unexpected news.

He already anticipated that Thirteen asked to meet with him because he planned to give him a surprise.

But, he didn’t expect that the surprise that he was about to find out was Stella and Fate being pregnant, which made him almost choke on the coffee that he was drinking.
