Chapter 972: Chapter 970-Good Beating.

It was as if the whole atmosphere froze. For a single moment, nothing seemed to breathe. Just a moment later, everything broke apart. Power flooded my whole being, filling me and uplifting me to another level. At least, it made it seem like that.

’It only grants power like that anyway.’

The stone doesn’t truly raise you to such a level. After all, to break through those levels, you need a domain. You need to have studied law and even created your own will that can bring down the law you made into reality, which creates the domain. To the eyes of everyone else, I don’t have that. The stone thus will only grant me the "power" of that level.

’Even that will be enough to break the board.’

I smirked at that thought. To every eye, my body was fully flooded. A certain gentle golden light was all around me. As I said, the original function of this brings the power level, energy, and bodily ability of mine to that dragon’s level. That means any ability I have shown till now will be capable of working at that level.

Before anyone could even digest what the hell had happened, my body flashed. I filled it fully and completely with the attos I had used when I took down the Juggernaut in front of everyone’s eyes. This time, the attos were brighter and stronger than anyone could have ever felt. A certain contradiction came to it as they formed in the shape of a dragon all around my body.

’This is nice.’

I thought as I felt the sheer strength flooding me. At least once again, to the eyes of the spectating field, both seen and hidden. With a single thought, my legs lifted off the ground, floating lightly above it. The skies above seemed to have been split. Heavy clouds started to form around. My body shone with a certain golden light, which soon came together and formed a huge sign of a dragon in the sky. One of golden colour, which was seen by everyone.

It quickly broke apart after a roar. Those colours came back to me. My hair shifted in the wind. Even my eyes had a certain gold tint to them. Maybe even a certain razor-sharp change to my pupil that looked like a reptile’s. The attos around me seemed to be multiplying in a certain way by mixing with the power and forming some scales at certain parts of my body. All of it happened within the blink of an eye as I floated above the ground.

PUFF!

A huge gust of wind blew from my body as the transformation in sense finished, pushing back the weaker ones. As everyone stared, I still floated a bit above the ground, looking like a divine being that had descended from heaven. The attos had formed together, even in a little manner, around my face and formed a more stunning yet intimidating dragon look.

’They are trembling.’

My eyes caught the situation all around. The weaker reporters and such trembled in their places. An irrational fear took over their minds. In a sense, a light amount of dragon fear started to spread from me. Thus, under the eyes of everyone, I raised my right hand. I looked at it as I clenched and unclenched it. Just a small action caused the mana around me to fluctuate and move around like I was their daddy.

After feeling that power, I let my hand down. I took in a deep breath. After which, my eyes with that golden glow and dragon eyes looked to the sky, right where my eyes met those of the stunned Imperials still floating atop the clouds. My eyes then met those of Eleanor’s as I muttered.

"Don’t worry. I will take care of it. After all, I have a promise to keep."

What I muttered wasn’t heard by anyone other than Eleanor. Thus, under all the disbelieving eyes, I disappeared. Soon, I appeared in front of the Imperials, who didn’t even feel anything as I came to the side of Eleanor. Keeping up my appearances, I, with a smile, ripped away the stuff they had used to stop her movements.

"How?"

Even now, Eleanor was in a daze as she looked at me. She seemingly didn’t even understand how and why all these changes were taking place within such a moment. I smirked at Eleanor as I spoke.

"Don’t worry. Let me deal with everything, master."

As I said that, I turned to look at the Imperials. All of them looked at me with widened eyes, very much unable to believe what had happened. The elf, the strongest and the leader among the group, spoke.

"You had more of the Dragon God’s blessing?"

As someone of his level, he definitely knew what I used, not to mention all the signs around me. The dude was definitely panicking in some ways and trying to keep his mind occupied. A slow smile spread to my face, one filled with fighting intent. As I saw the rest of the Imperials flinch, the power within me started to spread far and wide. Mana is running up to serve me.

Small golden thread-like lights spread from my body, moving further and further away, covering over the atmosphere as if I were dominating it. Thus, they understood that they were about to get the biggest ass-kicking of their life.

"We come here under the dignity and right blessed on us. We come with permission. The war council has the right to do what we are doing. It is to protect the wo-"

"Blah... blah... bluh..."

I said.

"..."

"This is not som-"

"Yama... yada... yani."

Once again, I said.

"..."

This time, I could see that I pissed off the guy as I saw his power around him fluctuate. So in front of him, I waved my hand around as if I was gearing up for a beating as I spoke.

"I don’t care what or any kind of shit this is. You humiliated my home. You held my master. And you tried to bring down the ones I care about and love. When that happens, I beat up the ones responsible."

That was all I told them as the final warning. Before the elf could even react, my knuckles were already making contact with his cheek. I watched as my knuckle moved forward, his cheek flipping around. Perhaps even one tooth getting kicked out as his body flew away.

BOOM!

The sonic boom came a second later. Those Imperials blinking could only look at me and then turn to the side. The elf was sent flying, which was quite far away, before looking back at me. They didn’t hesitate before they activated their domains. Each one is trying to cover over me, each one of their own ability and law and elements.

Each one of them covered me. But I just smiled and flexed my body, gushing out with just sheer physical strength amplified by the power of a dragon. That was enough to break the domains like glass. The three domains are easily breaking apart, with cracks spreading. And within the second, they were all gone.

"Cough..."

"Urgh...."

"Krukh!...."

The three of them reacted badly to their domains being destroyed in such a fashion. All of them groaned, and a thin line of blood fell from their lips. Their eyes filled with dread as they looked at me. So with a smile on my face, I cracked my knuckles. The energy is once again bouncing with power all over me.

"Someone needs some manners."

Though as I said that, I raised my hand and caught a sword that was aimed at my head, holding it tightly within my hand. No matter how hard the elf tried, he couldn’t push it forward. Though the moment I caught it, once again, a wide sonic boom of power spread around.

"Puff..... that’s a nice look."

I muttered as I looked at the elf whose half a face that got my punch looked like it was punched in. The colour distorted. It was as if that side of his face looked different. I smiled away at it, and the power coming from within me grew even more. My eyes were gaining even more golden light as the rest of the three attacked me too, filling their weapons with their elements and law.

The power of their attacks focused on their weapons. Even the space seemed to be splitting apart in a sense as they attacked me. And as those attacks were coming, the attacks on my body grew even brighter, as if they were powering up more. Soon, the world seemed to slow down in my eyes.

’So this must be how the Flash feels all day in his life.’

The thought is making me chuckle. From the standard point of view, I had used the divine powers of the dragon to push my body beyond any kind of capable limit. Making my mind function at a speed that can’t be comprehended, and my body catching up to that speed. Limitless energy of the dragon being burned to maintain this state.

’Let’s give them hell.’

With that thought, I let go of the sword with a push as I saw in slow motion it being pulled away. My eyes were seeing through all the attacks that were coming at me.
