Chapter 716: 716 - I approve of you!

Bai Hu Lie and Qingyi spent nearly four hours in the company of Bai Hu Tian, alongside the leader of the Cosmic Dawn Sect, Rou’er, and Rouxi.

During those four hours, they drank some of the strongest liquor the leader had to offer, and a thoroughly drunk Rou’er nearly tore Qingyi’s clothes off in the process.

She wanted to stay by his side rather than attend another boring meeting with Rouxi. Even so, Qingyi and Bai Hu Lie eventually managed to slip away.

Straightening his clothes, Qingyi let out a long sigh.

He had no problem with Rou’er accompanying him. Quite the opposite.

He’d rather have her by his side at all times, but in the end, she was the princess of the Cosmic Dawn Sect, and her diplomatic responsibilities couldn’t be ignored.

Without wasting a moment, Bai Hu Lie stormed into the pavilion, kicking the gates open with a deafening crash that rattled the surrounding pillars.

Puffing out his chest, he roared at the top of his lungs.

Bai Hu Lie didn’t finish his roar.

Inside Ruxue’s world of mind, things were calm.

Night had already fallen, and after finishing their daily chores, without their husband to keep them company, the girls had retreated to their rooms, cultivating or resting.

Ruyan was one of them.

Lying on her back, she wore a sweet, relaxed expression, her crimson eyes fixed on the ceiling with a bored gleam.

Ruxue was the first to notice it, her eyes filling with worry as she teleported to the courtyard.

All the other girls caught on soon after, rushing toward the two demons.

"What’s happening?" Ruxue asked, carefully spreading her Qi senses over the two of them.

"I don’t know, it’s just that... Blergh."

Blood streamed down Ruyan’s lips in a crimson torrent, staining the fine fabric of her robes a dark red as her cultivation nearly collapsed, sending her crashing toward the ground.

Fortunately, the girls were there to catch her, their expressions twisting with even deeper concern.

None of them had ever seen the lively Ruyan looking so pale and battered.

Tears welled in the demonic beauty’s eyes as she clutched her own chest, each breath rasping out shakily between her blood-stained lips.

Nianxue, who had been holding up a little better, soon nearly collapsed as well, and the girls rushed to catch her as quickly as possible.
