Chapter 1239: The Great Threat.

On the surface, he didn’t appear to have done anything. At least, the onlookers didn’t see anything of note. All they saw was his avatar shuttle through the third dimension and arrive at the second new super world.

Even before he could state his purpose, an indistinct figure appeared before him and said, "You’re welcome, honored Dao Lord. I am willing to accept your pathway and anchor it to my world."

"Good," he said with a stern face. "But I want more."

"Ask away, honored one," the Will of the World said. "I’ll do anything you ask of me as long as I can do it."

"I want you to remove Heavenly Eye’s pathways from your world and i want you to do so immediately," he said, his voice stern.

"Please ask for something else," the Will said, pleading with him.

But his face remained rigid, and his eyes were stern as he said, "Obey or be destroyed."

It was no empty threat. Even though this super world would increase his base Domain Power, he was willing to destroy it so that it wouldn’t benefit his enemy.

As a Mountain Lord, his highest priority is to maintain his position. After that, it is to strengthen his Divine Mountain. His personal Domain Power is not even in the top two.

This makes any super world unwilling to help him maintain his position dispensable. Besides, he could always recycle the super world.

Despite the threat, the Will of the World said, "I can’t give you what you want because she has spread her sect in my world long before she established her Domain in it. Her Supreme Metacs are already anchored, so I can’t remove her Domain now, even if I want to."

Loki’s eye flared into brightness as he received that information. He quickly realized that she had planned for something like this.

"Nicely played," he said, nodding in appreciation. "Truly well done. With this kind of move in store, she would have surely caught Black Chain off guard with it."

Then he said to Will of the World, "In that case, never mind."

As he spoke, he sent forward the projection of his Supreme Metac. The projection was a bright but translucent black ball. It was a phantom star without any substance.

The Will of the World received the projection and installed it into the divine constellation. Just like that, a third Domain began to appear in the super world.

His eyes swept over the second Domain. It was a fresh Domain like his, still growing.

’Hmmmm. Should I destroy it myself?’ he thought inwardly.

’She will be able to regrow it with lifespan if I destroy it. But it would also open my Domains to destruction from her and other Dao Lords. So I should let it go, for now,’ he thought reluctantly.

’Besides, I haven’t lost yet. There is still one more battlefield I haven’t lost yet.’

’If I lose again, then I’ll destroy the three super worlds immediately,’ he thought with his eyes glinting dangerously.

With that thought in mind, he took one last look at the super world. After looking at the second Domain in the super world again, he tore open a rift into the third dimension. Then he rushed into the tear and flew in the direction of the third super world.

When he got to the third super world, he also asked for Heavenly Eye’s pathways to be removed. But the Will of the World couldn’t do what he demanded because she had already converted enough people in the world to her pathways before anchoring her Supreme Metacs there.

In fact, not only did he fail to have her pathways removed from the two super worlds, but while he was busy and failing to have them removed, she had taken the opportunity to establish her Domain in the first new super world.

The first new super world was the one he exposed. Now that the three worlds had her pathways, she had basically won this round of the competition.

To be fair, it was a draw. After all, he got to establish three Domains on three super worlds he didn’t raise.

She did all of the work, yet she had to share the fruit of her labor with him against her wishes. So she wouldn’t call this her victory.

She would call being able to establish her Domain on the three super worlds the barest minimum for the work she did. But Loki, being the gluttonous fellow he was, felt that he had lost out by not claiming the three worlds for himself and only himself.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, he saw that she was sending the projection of her Supreme Metac to the old super worlds. This made his displeasure and anger shoot through the roof.

"You’re pushing me. I am greedy, but you’re pushing me towards mutual destruction," he said, chuckling as if he wasn’t thinking about destroying super worlds.

He is definitely thinking about destroying super worlds. Especially the new three super worlds. The reason he hadn’t destroyed them yet is that he wanted to maximize the benefits from doing so.

Instead of using brute force to break them open, which he could do, he planned to use a World Pump to extract their essence and recycle the essence later. But doing this would take some time.

The World Pump won’t be done quickly. It would need time and protection to finish its work, making it unsuitable to use when he is in a rush for results.

His Dao Initiates were currently busy, spread across the world, invading worlds for him. So he was the only one available to besiege the super worlds. But if he were to besiege a world, Heavenly Eye would surely take advantage of this to create trouble for him everywhere.

This was exactly what was happening. While he was running around dealing with the three super worlds, she was already messing around in the other super worlds. So he needed to run around putting out flames before they became too big to control.
