Chapter 991: How Dragon?

Hearing this, the two newcomers also looked at where he was indicating. When they looked, they saw a golden, humanoid dragon frolicking about in the Central Domain of the Blessed Heaven World.

Upon sighting the dragon, they too became curious about it.

Green Fire asked, "Who is that dragon? I can’t believe Black Chains hasn’t tried to kill it yet. Doesn’t he hate dragons?"

Carefree Immortal, who had always been suspicious about the explanation he was given concerning how Black Chains gained control of the super world, also said, "Come to think of it, where is Black Chains right now?"

"I think it is one thing for him to miss the developments in his super world. After all, he already controls it. He doesn’t need to be here to experience the changes of his slave, but how can he bear to let a dragon wander about in his world? Wasn’t he always complaining about how he hated dragons?"

In response, Heavenly Eye rolled her eyes and said, "It is probably because this dragon is at rank 6. It is too weak to draw Black Chain’s attention?"

As convincing as that was, Carefree Immortal was still skeptical. He looked at the dragon intensely as he said, "That’s probably true. But this dragon might not be as uninteresting as he thinks it is."

"For example, why can’t I see anything in his Cave Heaven? How did a rank 6 dragon become capable of blocking the sight of a Dao Lord?"

Heavenly Eye said in reply, "Oh, that’s normal. I’m hiding his Cave Heaven, so it is normal that you can’t see it."

"Oh. That makes sense." Carefree Immortal said.

Then he said, "Though, I don’t know why you would do something like that."

His question was resolved just like that, but it refused to go down without a fight. The die had been cast, and suspicion had taken root in the hearts of the other three because of that question.

In particular, his question had incited suspicion in Green Fire, who asked, saying, "Where did the dragon come from anywhere? I thought the last of them were hiding. Is there a large world out there producing dragons? And why is it here?"

Heavenly Eye said, "The answer is simple. I brought the dragon here to draw Black Chains out. Clearly, it didn’t work because Black Chains is nowhere in sight."

Before she could relax, Immobile Mountain asked, saying, "Who is that golden star? Is that Golden Sun?"

So Heavenly Eye snapped, saying, "Why are you asking so many questions?"

"Are you hiding something from us? What is Golden Sun doing here? Why haven’t you grabbed him yet?"

"Do you want to help him reincarnate so that you can resist Blak Chains? Is that what the dragon is here for? To serve as Golden Sun’s new body?"

Regardless of how much she wanted them to shut up, they kept asking more and more questions about the dragon and Golden Sun. The more questions they asked, the more inconsistencies they noticed in her explanations.

Eventually, Heavenly Eye could only say, "I don’t need to answer any of your questions. If you want answers so bad, send an avatar to question the dragon and grab Golden Sun."

Unfortunately, the damage had already been done. They refused to let her go like that and kept asking more questions.

Some of their motivations were partly to annoy her, and one of them was even doing it to amuse himself. Green Fire was the former, while Immobile Mountain was the latter. Only Carefree Immortal was asking out of curiosity and suspicion.

Down below, the world was still changing. The changes weren’t slowing down either. The changes were becoming more drastic and were being accelerated over time because a third force had appeared to push the changes along.

Earlier, the appearance of the new continent was the first motivation for changes in the positions and landscapes of every domain. Then the new pathways appeared, and the whole world was being changed by the impact of law fragments.

After these changes reached a certain point, a powerful intangible will appeared across the heaven and earth of the Blessed Heaven World, pushing the changes along.

This powerful will started by forcing the Northern Domain and the Central Domain apart, thereby accelerating the appearance of the new continent.

Then the invisible will began pushing the impact of law fragments by converting the living and non-living things that the law fragments created into elementals. Most of this was done in the new continent, though.

Because of this, the new continent gained a new meaning of coming to life. Various kinds of movement began to appear on it across its surface as life was breathed into the new continent.

While this was happening, the powerful will condensed into an energy body and appeared in front of the dragon. The body it created was see-through, akin to some spirit. But this body wasn’t grey or dead.

The figure was that of a male dragon. The dragon was golden like Loki and was also humanoid. Aside from being a phantom dragon with translucent flesh, it would look exactly like Loki.

After it appeared, the phantom dragon said, "I am the will of the Blessed Heaven World. I have come for two reasons, the first of which is to thank you for freeing me."

Loki became interested when he heard this. He asked with a hint of skepticism, "Does that mean you have a reward for me?"

"I have come to understand that when you want to thank someone, it is great to give them something to indicate your sincerity and appreciation. After all, action speaks louder than words."

The phantom dragon nodded and said, "Indeed, it is good to offer gifts. Which brings us to my next purpose for appearing before you in person. I want to invite you to anchor your Supreme Metac in my world."

Without thinking about the offer, Loki asked, "Is that all you have for me?"
